Cypriot here born and raised, been living in London for the last 8 years so I've seen how the country has changed and can compare it to a bigger country. Though I understand your video is an attempt to get some views (and I know you have lots of positive videos about Cyprus and like living here), a lot of the stuff you say are either untrue or randomly cherrypicked and they are definitely not the main issues in the country. Some commentary: 1. Earthquakes really don't happen that often, it's once every few years. And they're never bad enough to cause any destruction, just a short inconvenience. 2. Gun regulations do exist, and a lot of people also have assault rifles stored in their homes from the mandatory military service. However, unlike Americans, we don't actually shoot other people with them. If you look like a rabbit and are walking on the mountains during hunting season maybe be afraid yeah. 3. There's some very nice beaches around Paphos and Ayia Napa/Protaras (on the free side of the country), the worst ones are in Limassol. I've been to Bali and I found most of the beaches there worse to swim in to be honest (though definitely looked more beautiful because of nature). 4. This is true for every national of a cold country, you are not used to the temperatures we have here. Still, you know you are moving to a hot country beforehand, I don't see why it's a surprise. 5. The salaries and living costs are definitely a huge issue and the gap between them has been increasing over the last decade mostly due to rich(er) foreigners moving here and setting camp for their businesses. Especially from a particular country (*cough* Russia *cough*). 6. It's true that very often people in Cyprus are not the most professional (especially in government positions), however they are very helpful and friendly so if you do an effort to reach out you'll be sorted relatively quickly. Most importantly, because we are not a huge country you can actually talk to an actual person and not wait for any long queues, unlike big countries like in the UK. We also have very good doctors that are inexpensive (50E per visit) and you can book an appointment quickly (though the new ΓΕΣΥ system has made this worse), unlike the NHS in the UK where you have to be either dying to get some decent service or wait 3 weeks to see a clueless doctor that will give you some sugar-pills and tell you to just get some rest. If you had something bad show up in your blood test they would definitely have called you. Also I've done many blood tests and the email with results always comes through the same day or the next day, haven't had any issues. Some actual issues in the country include: 1. Massive Corruption 2. Salaries and cost of living (like you said). 10 years ago this wasn't really an issue. 3. Bad road infrastructure that has led to insane amounts of traffic and making it impossible to find parking spots (at least in Limassol) 4. Even though people are very friendly and open, we are generally very careless about other people (eg driving without signalling, parking in the middle of the road). Also a lot of people have a very old-fashioned or backwards mentality, which in combination with (1) and (2), makes it hard for the country to evolve (since a lot of the more forward-thinking people leave to work abroad). 5. The market for buying electronics or certain other items is a bit bad - often companies sell items that came to the market 2-3 years ago in the original price, and don't have something more recent. We are up to date with phones and video game consoles though. Also expect to pay a small premium for the merchant having to ship everything over. Ordering stuff online takes ages to arrive to your house. 6. Lack of anonymity. This can be good or bad depending on what you prefer, but generally if you've been living here long enough it's hard to go out without bumping into someone you know. London is on the other extreme, where it actually almost feels like you are alone in the city.
Yes, that's true... I could say more. I live here all my life and it is extremly difficult to get a minimum-wage job. You have to know at least 2 languages, if you want to compete - 3. Employers don't really want to hire and fire you really easily. Generally living as an introvert here is hell. People consider it rude, when you do not share info about you, and ask too personal stuff... On interview I MUST share such things on order to even have a chance on being hired, in a lot of places they want people to look modest: no piercings (sometimes even earings) or colorful hair.
Dude complained about how bad Germany was and that's why he left, and now he's complaining about Cyprus too, will he ever be satisfied? Or is this just content?
I'm from a place where there are almost no natural disasters of any kind or severity (yes, those places exist) and I wouldn't want to move to a place where there can be earthquakes, so I definitely understand his point of view on that matter. 🤷
As a Cypriot, I expected to hear a complaint about noise. I once had a German neighbor, who was complaining to me every time I would use my chainsaw, wash my car, and generally everytime I would do anything with machines and power tools
Germans used to have strict rules about when and what you could do. If he didn’t like the Cypriot way of life then he shouldn’t have stayed in Germany . We had an Austrian neighbour for some years. She was as mad as a box of frogs.
Then again: chainsaw, compressors and generally power tools are for work so that's what in Cyprus 6-7 hours a week? Then to relax you would play the battery, listen to Jungle and experiment with little amounts of C4? Sounds as relaxing as Corsica or Sicily! The only moment is during food and the almighty nap.
We are also from Germany my husband liked here in the beginning he is very positive person ,but even he is now disappointed of Cyprus, very messy unorganized country ,also with highest rate of tobacco smokers
I am Cypriot and I have also lived in Germany for six years. Cyprus has many things that you don't mention which are not nice, some are even bad. What you mention in your presentation is shallow research. Earthquakes? Really? Yes, it is perhaps easy to get a hunting gun, but it is not like everybody carries a gun to solve personal issues. Of course you will see the nicest pictures of the beaches. If I plan to visit Germany and google it, wouldn't I see nice pictures? Yes, we are very un-organised people. Yes, we procrastinate, and this is very annoying. No excuse about it. When I was living in Germany I loved how organized and disciplined Germans are. You take Germany, one of the most organized countries (used to be) as a measure to compare Cyprus. I travel a lot in Europe. Neither Germany, nor Europe is what they used to be in terms of discipline or organization. Just saying
Rico i disagree with the first 4 reasons,1) the last 20 years Cyprus had 2 or 3 earthquakes,2) To get a hunting license you need to go to the army for 1 year (army is mandatory for every male), you need clean criminal record, and you need to pass exams (you have to know all the animals etc). 4) Clean pretty beaches are not rare, only in Famagusta area you can find more than 10 amazing beaches. The last 2 reasons i agree
Germany is Germany and I lived there for 6 months and found the people very stiff and unwelcoming. I am English. Cyprus is Cyprus and if you don't embrace it - warts and all - then just leave.
OK , I thought he was going to say something about the graffiti THAT IS EVERYWHERE or the rubbish driving , or the stray cats that all look sick or the fact that a lot of the buildings looks unfinished or just scruffy , and how many people smoke . BUT no this guy is warning that a Mediterranean island is sunny , and the beaches are crowded .
Germany, fast and professional? You kidding? As an American, I go nuts whenever I visit Germany with immense bureaucracy, exceptionally negative people, almost complete lack of customer service, closed Sundays, low speed internet, archaic banking, houses with no air conditioners, trains running late, etc. Germany is a joke when it comes to speed and efficiency.
You forgot to mention that 90 - 95% of conversations between middle aged and older Cypriots always involve food. I'm half Cypriot myself and this literally DRIVES ME CRAZY. Its as if they have no other things to think about other than food. As a Cypriot this is something I'm embarrassed and ashamed about.
Every nation have its standard chat. Here in Sweden, we always talk about the weather, because it often time it sucks. So at least the food in cyprus is delicious 😄
@@ianf831 technically yes, in reality no. They have some very weird routes that are perhaps suitable for tourists, but not for life. And the fact that their schedule ends at like 6 or 7 pm gotta explain everything.
We aren’t considered earthquake prone country since we arent on a tectonic plate boundary, we have never had severe earthquakes and most ppl don’t even feel them cause of how weak they are but generally we don’t get earthquakes, probably got 4/5 in the span of 20 years, so this is some bs in my opinion
earthquakes?))) are you kidding??? I have been living there for 1-3 months almost every year since 2010 and I can say its nothing in comparison to: 1) terrible rental prices in comparison to the salaries on the island 2) lack of rental properties because of its occupied by resellers, rich refugees and relocants 3) low salaries. Local business just loves to employ migrants that agree to work for 500-600 euro in terrible conditions. 4) Cosmic level of bureaucracy and its slowness. You may wait for weeks to get a super simple thing done just because of state executives are drinking frape all the day along and they dont give a huck somebody goes bankrupt because of the delay. 5) You definitely need to have native relatives or have a tons of euros to establish and develop a business there. If you are just a single xenos (allien) then nobody will talk to you. Your limit is a tourist status. Nothing more. 6) Language. You have to learn it very quickly otherwise you will be always treated as 3 grade allien who can be cheated, who will always pay triple price for the things locals are paying just a normal price. So these are the real 6 things that could make your life hard there. But I will add that in comparison to Paris, Cyprus is a very friendly and safe place. French almost all the time play they dont speak English, even the airport staf. Cypriots will speak English because in the orient the guest should not be humiliated if its a regular tourist for example. PS. Also the 7th argument could be the medical care system which is terrible but its a normality in EU nowadays. As an allien you should always have a private medical assurance and 300-500 euro for an urgent visit to private clinics like Meditteranean hospital in Limassol. I've been through it couple times so I know more or less the system.
I agree with most of your points here except the part about language. It does not matter where you move to, you SHOULD learn the language of the country you are going to live in. I know that in Cyprus we are more relaxed with foreigners just using English, unlike the Germans for example, but that does not mean you should expect to assimilate into society without learning Greek. Greek is the OFFICIAL language here and so, you need to learn it. I cannot speak about being cheated on prices if you do not speak the language, but if that happens then that is awful and needs to stop!
I spent almost two weeks, mostly in Northern part and here is my list of issues: - crazy traffic that in some places looks worse than midtown Manhattan - sidewalks that look like an afterthought - beaches are polluted with plastics, glass, building materials -dirty streets - crappy public transportation - besides gasoline, everything seems to be expensive
Gosh, I am English and a Resident here since 2006 and love Cyprus and there are always things that go wrong, but you take it to the extreme, I just laugh it off, like when my washing machine broke and the company said they would send someone on Friday, I took the day off work and no-one came, when I called I was told that they did NOT say which Friday!! I thought it was really funny. Go with the flow man, or go back to Germany!!
Well, i think you forgot how the life is in Germany 😂 A wifi company here will show up for their appointment but it will have to be set for 1-2 months in advance. Same goes for doctor appointment and they will NEVER call you back if your test result is fine.
@@catsfan_M as someone with endocrynology issues, I can relate. But in my example, because my health got worse, doctor got me appointment sooner. For example, usually it was every 6 mounths but for now my next is in 3 mounths :)
Cyprus beaches are not all amazing ! For starters on the Greek side most beaches are pebbles . Ayia Napa has sand from Egypt . A lot of their beaches are heavily commercialised . That is hotels, night clubs , cafes and restaurants. Everything you said is correct but I never experienced earth quakes though .
I lived in Cyprus for 4 years in Paphos. The thing I couldn’t handle was the corruption and the Cypriots and the way they treat their animals, the so called hunters would just abandon their dogs, no food or water, we rescued 3 as we were the first house they could get to.
Go back to Germany maybe? I have been to Germany and people were so rude towards me! Not speaking English on purpose and much more. I believe you need to go back to Germany 👏
This is not a serious video, this is a hilarious video. Cyprus is not paradise but is definitely a better place to live and work than Germany. Thank you
I've been living here for nearly 3 years. Earthquakes don't bother me too much (haven't been many) and that is new to me. I agree with the wages being low and cost of living high, especially in Limassol. But I'm surprised you didn't mention the parking situation and the driving. I have no regrets moving here.
. As someone who is from africa and lived in cyprus i didnt experience any of this. The beaches in limmasol, paphos and aya napa were absolutely breath taking. Never experienced earth quakes and its island life so of course its going to be slow. The gun thing is so dumb because you have to speak on stuff from experience not from what you have heard. I found the cost of living better than in my own country. My salary was enough for me and my son to live off of and he went to the british school too. I also started my own business there doing makeup and nails for brides coming from England to get married as i am english speaking. The weather was amazing but like i said i am from south africa so we get temperatures of 37 degrees. I never sunburned because on the beaches you can hire umbrellas if you forgot. The ONLY complaint i had of cyprus was the amount of cats. 😂 cause i am allergic but other than that i was so so sad to leave - thanks covid - and hope i get to see the country again 💖
I am right now in Cyprus looking around to see if we should move here. We live in Malta now. I have one prerequisite to buy a property. No German neighbors who will try to tell us how to live. I am German.
@@catsfan_MOh bad Cyprus you dont have german neighbours for our german immigrant. Guess where you will find german neighbours (or arabs and afghans :p )In Germany!! So please move back
"Being born in Germany I am used to getting things done fast and efficiently" piss off bro, Deutsche Bahn is almost always late, bureaucracy in most of Germany is a nightmare and some services still expect you to use fax or mail. What are you even on about ? I am not saying Cyprus is like way better but come on, Deutschland ain't much better.
Bureaucracy in Germany is by far more than that in Cyprus! No comparison whatsoever! Not to mention the hostility towards visitors and general "Ausländer"! When did you last time visited Germany?
Ive been living in the uk for 55 year's and am moving to Cyprus in 5 years hopefully, if thats all you have to worry about in Cyprus try come living in London then your find out how things are bad, NHS, GOVERNMENT, TAXES and living cost Food, electric, water, gas, fuel, and i could go on all day reap the rewards of the cheap living in Cyprus and always great weather.
I'm from Cyprus. The best beaches are on the North side of the island. I know this is not a view that people subscribe to because they are blind but it's a fact. I've been. I've seen them with my own eyes. They are stunning. And the best thing.....no one is on them. Empty
i am cypriot i am 37 years old. in my life i dont remember any earthquake. i remeber very small ones we never had a problem with earthguaqes. basically rico he wants to lie for some thinks for views.
YOU HAVE DESCRIBED SOUTH CYPRUS GREEK CYPRIOTS VERY WELL. TRY TO GO NORTH TRNC AND YOU WILL FIND SOME SIMILARITY BUT YOU WILL FIND THE BEST BEACHES AND FRIENDLY LOCALS
I agree with all of this cause I lived in Cyprus 🇨🇾 Paphos for 7 years it’s not so great like it’s advertise in the media 😅😅😂 so I moved back to America 🇺🇸 at least here it’s a sistem in place and great health care system more advanced and clean. The Beaches are amazing in Florida, California etc …
Cyprus is also a slaughterhouse of migrating birds. It has millions of migratory birds that stop there but are unfortunately exterminated by locals, even though it is ILLEGAL! CABS (Committee against bird slaughter) is working on changing this, as birds are in steep decline along this flyway. Maybe you can donate to them?
The fact of the matter is that anywhere in the world you live you will find things to like and find things to complain about. In small countries in particular probably more so. At the end of the day it's a personal preference and you have to take what you perceive as good and what you perceive a bad and beside if it's for you or not. Your personal opinion as well as your limited experiences meaning it's not like you live there for 20 years or something really has no bearing on what anybody else thinks or experiences. I find that most people will move into a different new country for them and then start complaining or picking it apart because of what they were used to and left behind. What's holding you back to return where you came from???? In the end this is nothing to do with good or bad or honest or dishonest it has to do with you wanting to be online and monetizing your time as a content creator.
You are very wrong about everything regarding Cyprus . I have lived and worked in UK FROM Gloustester all over England and London for over 23 years .worked in Saudi Arabia for 10 years I had adopted with the systems with no problem . YOU HAVE PROBLEMS IN CYPRUS YOU ARE DOING THE RIGHT THING GO BACK TO UK WISH ING YOU GOOD LUCK
Earthquakes in Cyprus ? Not to my knowledge. Yes sunburn is a serious risk and normal precautions are needed. Yes Cyprus is chilled out, Is that a problem, I think not.
An Earthquake that went on for 2-3 minutes? Are you sure ? I think the whole island would have collapsed if it went on for that long lol , I lived in Cyprus for 20years in the the late 70s up until the 90s and every country has its good points & bad , so my dear friend of you made this video to get some hits well you got one off me but best you stay in your own country & pickup on bad things about Germany & leave Cyprus alone
O M G you are AMAZING. I was watching...and THANK YOU... for all the great info you are giving. Truly a great human being and passionate about life in general. BRAVO and Danke Shon. I am going to Cyprus tomorrow for a short holiday.
None of these reasons are good enough. High taxation, poor medical, poor economy, cost of living high. Some earthquakes, sunburn and hunters? You should come the United States. I'll bring you to Chicago
Things done Fast and professional in Germany ? Really? When did you last time visited Germany? Have you ever tried to travel DB? Have you ever bean in China? This Germany you are dreaming about no longer exists, sorry.
It is indeed. Mr Know-it-all cannot imagine that there could be anything outside his experience. Entitled, arrogant loudmouth. Ruining the reputation of Germans abroad once more.
Hi Rico, I am thinking of moving there with my family. I am a teacher and have a job but my partner should find a job. From what you have seen so far, are chef jobs easy to find? Are they well paid? Many thanks!
This malakas still talking rubbish i see... still giving out misinformation and lies about Cyprus to people for his views and clicks. Remember people these are just 1 persons biased opinions based on personal experience influenced by him getting views. Only thing true he said is the country is too relaxed yes- that's what 10 months of heat will do to you. No country is perfect, maybe you should do what it says on your screenshot and leave
If people work or pay tax in Cyprus they have a right to tell their opinion , cypriots should learn to respect others minds and hear criticism, u have no right to tell someone to leave just because they are foreigner.
@@catsfan_M of course everyone has a right to their own opinion but people shouldn't tell lies and exaggerate to others online to not move to a particular country especially with these silly reasons he mentioned in the video. Also, this is not the 1st time this guy has been spreading lies and misinformation to the people. I would've been saying the same thing if he was Greek... Cyprus has been very multicultural for decades so Cyprus has no problem with foreigners and are always welcome.
You are exaggerating 😅 and twisting things, and you making things sound far worse than they are. A very small part of what you are saying is true (salaries and sun which can be generalised around south EU), but like many German bloggers, you are “registered” here only for tax reasons… and only 6 months a year. So technically 😊 you are not living here …
i watched many of your videos and i respected you very much, but watching this video, trying to stop people to come to Cyprus because of these silly reasons, definitely ill never watch another video of you.
We lived in Protaras but the rent got too expensive ,now we live in Deryneia but we don't like here at all because of the neigbours, they smoke all evening on balcony which is next to our bedroom, all the smoke comes to our balcony and bedroom ,we cant open the window doors , we told them so many times that they should smoke far from us , but nothing changes ,now is summer we can't open windows at night we have to use air conditioner, because they smoke at 3 o'clock, but not only they, most of the neigbours smoke. I wish to leave here as soon as possible, also maybe leave Cyprus, many people here smoke so much ,never had any problem with a smoker in western Europe lol . Also all the car driving is annoying all the time ,they use cars for everything. People don't like to walk here even in Nikosia i was there once i saw very few people outside, only cars .I guess one of the reasons are the poor condition of the sidewalks, they are missing sometimes so that you have to walk on the road for the cars which is dangerous. Also some outside parking places are in bad condition, not concreted at all, there are many roads in bad condition, missing sidewalks, trash bins on the streets which look ugly and when they are full, people put the trash bags just next to trash bins which wind blows everywhere. There are also many old cars here which pollute the air such kind of cars are forbidden in western Europe. Cyprus is nice for tourists or if you live in a beautiful house with pool and close to the sea. It has beautiful beaches indeed i like Protaras very much but unfortunately it's closed in winter a bit boring without people. We also lived in Spain which i think is cleaner ,has more beautiful cities and is better organized than Cyprus.
No offense, but a German in a beach / coastal country? Why not move to Hawaii or Tahiti? LOL. It's ISLAND Time. Relax. Enjoy the sun and sand. All the things you think are terrible are exactly why I want to move there.
I lived in Deryneia and it was not enjoyable at all, trash outside ,trash bins open on the streets, almost every neigbours smokes cigarettes, couldn't open window because of the neigbours or sit on balcony ,what to enjoy?? Cyprus is nice only if u own a modern house with a pool no annoying neigbours who smoke or have dogs or if u are tourist and stay a week or two on the beach.
Thanks for your comments. I have some replies to clarify a few things: Getting the blood test is typically requested by your doctor, whether from a hospital or a private clinic, you deal with a doctor to provide you with the results. Also all laboratories offer to email you the results to yourself and your your doctors. I am surprised you had an issue with that, it rarely happens here even in negligent big hospitals. In most cases, it takes no more than 3 days to get the results. I must admit, seeing German residents in Cyprus is rather strange as it is a very incompatible combination 😀. However, it f you are an uptight German, please remember you are in a different country with habits unlike yours. One thing will be confronting to any European or civilised resident, which I am surprised Rico did not mention is the disturbing topic of stray cats. Cypriots are not pet people in general, though the new generation is taking a better approach, the problem remains significant with third-world dimension. People in Cyprus don’t care and their government is corrupt and not interested in resolving the issue to make the place look civilised. You will witness dead cats and dogs on every street and motorway. Whilst animal cruelty is rare, neglect is in your face just like Romania and Bulgaria were 20 years ago. I am involved with a German charity group to help alleviate the problem at our expense using our own time, efforts and resources. If you are a pet owner or animal lover or simply a caring person you will be confronted with gruesome images and heartbreaking scenes of misery and neglect DAILY. I always wish that with every civilised European relocating to Cyprus I might have a helping pair of hands and some empathy for creatures that are dependent on us. It is shocking that the EU is still allowing the Cypriots to behave with the current level of impunity when it comes to such a topic.
EU is the root of all problems. You think all Germans are civilised people? Half of them are not Germans. We love animals, but we are not worshipping them.
I stopped renting to Germans because they are so nitpicky about everything. Cyprus have its flaws. BIG flaws, but the reasons you mentioned are so trivial.
We came also from Germany , we will never rent an appartment again in Cyprus, most of the neigbours smoke cigarettes here ,so disgusting, we have bulgarian neigbours who are disgusting, their whole balcony smells , I never had such neigbours in Germany. The most disappointing in Cyprus are the smoking and the dust ,they never clean the streets with water and many products are much more expensive than in Germany, Cyprus was a waste of money for us.
I spend about two months every year in Cyprus. I know Greek culture quite well and Cyprus culture is very similar. Don´t expect punctuality or much efficiency (mind you I lived in Germany for many, many years and it´s not all what it´s cracked up to be !!). The major issue I have is the amount of rubbish in the streets and open spaces. The locals will dump their old furniture, washing machines, and other household items there, which lie around for months. Niggle number 2 is rising damp. Rain simply falls off the roof onto the ground. No wonder then that ground floor flats often suffer from rising damp, so in the winter, the whole flat is damp; clothes feel clammy, there´s mould on the walls. These are the reasons why I would never live in Cyprus permanently.
@@aleks8783do u mean Cyprus? I have read that thanks to Greece Cyprus joined EU. I think some EU countries don't deserve to be EU member for example Bulgaria Romania.
Oh how bad England must be nowdays that the British like Cyprus so much lol
OK , I thought he was going to say something about the graffiti THAT IS EVERYWHERE or the rubbish driving , or the stray cats that all look sick or the fact that a lot of the buildings looks unfinished or just scruffy , and how many people smoke . BUT no this guy is warning that a Mediterranean island is sunny , and the beaches are crowded .
As a cypriot living in the US I laugh at your complaints about gun control.
I’m German and I agree

You forgot to mention that 90 - 95% of conversations between middle aged and older Cypriots always involve food. I'm half Cypriot myself and this literally DRIVES ME CRAZY. Its as if they have no other things to think about other than food. As a Cypriot this is something I'm embarrassed and ashamed about.
lol
Every nation have its standard chat. Here in Sweden, we always talk about the weather, because it often time it sucks. So at least the food in cyprus is delicious 😄
Here in Germany we only talk about work and studies 😅
In Poland it's only about politics, bad weather and rising prices :D I prefer talking about food. So it's another reason to move there.

There is zero public transport in Cyprus. That's the biggest issue for me.
Erm the buses?
@@ianf831 technically yes, in reality no. They have some very weird routes that are perhaps suitable for tourists, but not for life. And the fact that their schedule ends at like 6 or 7 pm gotta explain everything.
We aren’t considered earthquake prone country since we arent on a tectonic plate boundary, we have never had severe earthquakes and most ppl don’t even feel them cause of how weak they are but generally we don’t get earthquakes, probably got 4/5 in the span of 20 years, so this is some bs in my opinion
earthquakes?))) are you kidding??? I have been living there for 1-3 months almost every year since 2010 and I can say its nothing in comparison to:
1) terrible rental prices in comparison to the salaries on the island
2) lack of rental properties because of its occupied by resellers, rich refugees and relocants
3) low salaries.
I spent almost two weeks, mostly in Northern part and here is my list of issues:
- crazy traffic that in some places looks worse than midtown Manhattan
- sidewalks that look like an afterthought
- beaches are polluted with plastics, glass, building materials
-dirty streets
- crappy public transportation
- besides gasoline, everything seems to be expensive
Lol. He talks about south
Fuck the flow..cyprus has no flow..go back to Germany or a top country like us and aus
How bad England must be that all British ppl like Cyprus so much lol
Well, i think you forgot how the life is in Germany 😂
A wifi company here will show up for their appointment but it will have to be set for 1-2 months in advance. Same goes for doctor appointment and they will NEVER call you back if your test result is fine.

Well for some doctors you have to wait long months in Cyprus too, for example orthopedist or endocrinologist

I was there 1984-1987 - British Army - I remember a couple of earthquakes.

Cyprus is nice only if u own a modern house with a pool no annoying neigbours who smoke or have dogs or if u are tourist and stay a week or two on the beach.

Thanks for your comments. I have some replies to clarify a few things:
Getting the blood test is typically requested by your doctor, whether from a hospital or a private clinic, you deal with a doctor to provide you with the results.

You should leave immediately.
