This shape really does something for me. The swooping large rear is so easy to pick up. The large bump tilts my palm perfectly and supports the back of my hand when I need a more secure grip. The comfort grooves on the main buttons give a comfortable grip every time. The right side has just enough curve and just enough space to hold my pinky and ring finger every time. The texture works perfect for me in every way. I do not wish for any rubber grips. It feels perfect. To top it off, the left and right clicks are great and the side buttons are simply the best side buttons I've ever used. Making it 84 grams and perfectly balanced with a AAA is the cherry on top. Simply amazing.
You said I'd either love it or hate it. And I hate it. It strains my pinky and my natural grip results in it sitting at a 30 degree angle to my wrist instead of forward.
Let's appreciate the clever marketing by energizers putting its battiers into razer's mouse. Not reusable one's, just simple batteries that you have to buy and change every couple of months/weeks! Straight profit for them
Razer does not get any money from putting replaceable batteries in the mouse. Do you think they somehow have a deal with Duracell? Lol. They are actually saving you money because to put a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery in would double the cost of this mouse when new.
I have tried deathadder essential and it only lasted me 1 year due to double click. I have 17x8 small medium hands and I love the mouse. I'm stuck whether to go Dav2, dav2xhs, and orochi v2. I use all types of grips and I don't care about it.
hey ive been using this almost a year now. switch feels great. I wont use it for FPS games for sure since the cursor will move randomly by when u lift the mouse for hand adjustment,
@@_taho yeah it is a big deal breaker especially the double click after reading post and comments looks like double click is a common issue with razer? ....
my current mouse is the yenkee ambush yms 3017 that my father got me for chrismass in a boundle so i think when i get this mouse its goin to be amazing. also i need a wireless mouse cause my cable managment is terible and it keeps the mouse cable down so i have to pull it all the time. BTW thanks for reviewing the mouse its a mouse i wanted for months and your really help me with these videos
Size and shape is the big difference, If you want a smaller mouse that is lightweight and versatile go for the Orochi V2 if you want a big ergonomic style mouse then go for the Deathadder
Looking forward to getting one in the near future... Nice straight forward informative video for less than 10 mins and for less than 100 USD.. usually I think Logitech make the budget to high end gaming/office etc mouse.. but dang Razer had seriously upped their game in the last several years.. including their mech keyboards.. loved their current hyperspeed V3 keyboard, huntsman mini and black widow TE keyboard models.. Soo smooth the typing experience.. would like to have a custom made mechanical keyboard but looking at it, the market & the online community for that is like building a motorcycle from scratch... 🤣😅
I have always had a Deathadder, but this one is a really bad one. It has a lot of connection issues, it disconnects randomly and its really annoying. Another bad point is that your battery lasts for less than 1 month if you use it a lot. It's still a deathadder so it's confortable to use and the switches are really good. I don't recommend buying this mouse.
no chroma light :/ such cheapskates. If you wanted to save battery they could have just added an option to switch it off but without that iconic green logo it doesn't feel the same. V2 pro has it. Where's the battery saving there.
ACTUALLY THIS IS MOUSE IS BAD BECAUSE OF THE GRIP ON THE TOP ITS JUST BAD U DONT FEEL BETTER WITH THE GRIP AND I RETURNED THE MOUSE RAZOR SHOULD KEEP THE SAME GRIP AS DEATHADDER ESSENTIAL THEN ONLY THS CAN BE A COMPLETE MOUSE

Definitely the best deathadder :)
Does it have input lag.. since its wireless??
@@sirthug1702 all mice will have some but this one is psychotically fast. I've never seen a faster mouse
Hi. How long does the battery last and which cells are u using?
You’re so underrated it’s actually insane
Let’s pray to the yt algorithm gods
Haha! Thank you for the awesome comment and support. Hope it continues to grow :)
Thank you!
Great review, very helpful. Will pick one up. Just can't find any additional top covers to purchase anywhere - only ones I find are for the Orochi.
a great video. full of product in4 of needs. high image quality. and 17 likes.... damn
Thank you for watching and the awesome comment :)
You said I'd either love it or hate it.
And I hate it. It strains my pinky and my natural grip results in it sitting at a 30 degree angle to my wrist instead of forward.
So there are either options which are bluetooth and wireless dongle for connection right? I can either use the bluetooth or the USB dongle. Right?
i am confused between deathadder v2 wired and v2 x hyperspeed i play on g402 now and i play mainly cs go
They are the same, one is wired and the other is wireless.
the shape is why ive been using one for nearly 20 years, i had a stint with the g703 and superlight but nothing fits my hand quite like a deathadder.
I just ordered this. Im so excited!
Edit: Sorry for the late reply to everyone asking for a review but imo its really good for its price👍👍
What do you think about it à year latet is it worth it ?
Its been a year ur review?
how was or is it im thinking about to buy it
bet your excitement went down when u picked up a brick
@@Raphi-f2b its good
does the plastic have classic feel or strange dusty feeling like on new Cobra? how's the side travel on main clicks? anything else you noticed

yes essential has 10m clicks, Razer DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed has 60m clicks
@@ky0ri5 i got dav2xhyperspeed like 6 months ago and only lasted 1 month due to double clicking
orochi v2 or deathadder v2 x hyperspeed ?
What speakers are those on your desk?
How does it feel after months of use? Does it still hold up mouse click wise and the texture of it? Thanks for this really good review :)

how long is the mouse battery with alkaline aa battery? like is it longer than razer stated with 235 hours or longer
why no up-scroll sound test? usually it rattles.
Man the plastic grips are a pain to use. I used to have the deathadder wired and it was amazing but this one just sucks man.
I'm a DA v2 mini user it misclicks sideclicks alot for me alot should I upgrade
Is it good for large hands (claw grip) ?
yes very good i have large enough hands to fingertip grip and it is very comfortable
if i have never used a deathadder is this mouse worth it?
The mouse is worth it, but the shape may not be for you try it out first :)
@@MoeTechReviews i got it a week ago and its great
@@MoeTechReviews this or viper ultimate? My viper ultimate ar broke but is to expensive to buy again, i need some cheaper
Is it better than orochi v2? And which one ur recommendation?
They are actually 2 different mice categories. Depends on the size and shape you want.
rubber grips get yucky overtime
Yeah my mouse has them and it's 5 years old so it feels so bad. I just bought this so I hope they are good as they sound
Hey getting this mouse soon just want to know what is that mousepad? Looks good
That was the Glorious Ice mouse pad
Do u have to put a battery in it to work?
Actually scroll dpi switches are at good place because i always hit them while oping in valornt and dies because of change in dpi
Thanks gonna buy one! I’m about to buy the redragon 810 pro but this one seems better in terms of build quality

Any double clicking issues in this mouse ? Anyone please provide feedback
If i want a slightly bigger mouse than Razer Viper, would you say this fit the bill?
Yes this would be the next size up

whats better for gaming? 2.4 or bluetooth
2.4
Ok this is seventh review I see today and no one mention detail review of scroll wheel!!!!! 😢
I need bluetooth to use with my pc?
Alternatively, it comes with a wifi adapter--which is a better connection.
how can I turn Rgb lights on the mouse?
It doesn't have RGB
I picked this up on sell today for 35 dollars

Does this work with macbook?
Yess
the dpi switch was moved from the middle to make room for the battery . a reviewer should know that

no optical switch, double-click issue inbound
Luckily you can buy custom covers so it shouldn't be too much of a problem
I can’t believe people still buy the g pro super light over this
nice buddy gj, take my sub, btw I can learn a lot from ur channel how to getting better with mine:)
