I will show you how to make an easy holiday gift basket look like the one's you see on the store shelves! It's all about having fun and keeping it easy! I spent time working as a pro basket maker many years ago and I'm going to show you just how easy it is to create beautiful holiday gift baskets that will be sure to wow!

Use a paper shredder to shred fun paper to fill on top of the other stuffing instead of buying already shredded! I’ve done that and it works great🎄

Oh man, I’ve never thought about how those gorgeous gift baskets landed at the liquor store! I can watch these videos all day (not joking 🤷🏻♀️) and I have not seen this technique presented so beautifully! Honestly, I’m amazed or as the kids say I’m shook… omg when you said your dad’s wine has aged beautifully or… 😉

These were so lovely I did my nephews and nieces a movie night one last couple of years ago.i put a few dad's microwave pop corn pop corn boxes.crids dips .couple of bottles of pop.candy floss nut brittle and some Marsh mellows and hot choc sachets and paper Xmas cups and candy sticks .they appsolutellly loved this x

Beautiful! I would add a cellophane wrap to hold everything together for the delivery trip. I could see myself tipping it and having to rearrange everything in the car!!

I put a blanket, or towels in the bottom of my baskets, as filler. I always grab them in January when they go on clearance for 75% to 90% off. Cheap, but useful filler. I buy pajama sets on clearance, for this as well.

Great ideas. I love your jars of cocoa and how you wrapped them up so pretty. I will make some of these, and some unsweetened type of cocoa and sugar free chocolates for people who are diabetic. But this certainly giving me ideas but change up some items. Your so thoughtful. In the beginning of the video when wrapping the wine, you had a wire roll with a cutter attached to it. So neat where is it from? Soo useful, tried to find something like it in Amazon but not having luck lol

Very nice but I would not wrap an empty box.. I'd put something in it. Imagine getting a basket with a nicely wrapped gift inside that turns out empty.... That would suck.

Do you wrap the whole basket at last with the celofán paper ?
Hi! So for this basket I didn’t. I tried however the cellophane bag I had was not large enough. If you do choose to use a cellophane bag then make sure it’s large enough and have multiples in case it tears. They are very finicky and tear easily.
What makes u think the cocoa u buy in the store is any 'fresher' than the premade jarred stuff?
Sometimes the premade jar hot cocoa/marshmallow mixture has been sitting for years.
I'm thinking the same about most 'dry goods' on store shelves.I use organic cocoa to avoid some of the alkali processing. Eat fresh!@@homemakingdownsouth
Does anyone know if we are allowed to add second hand items to baskets that are for sale? I am thinking of ornamental items but never anything someone uses to eat such as a coffee mug.
