    Professor Fink, you are a natural. You were born into this world to teach. I feel guilty in a way, Dr. Fink. I was born to teach high school and did so for 6 years; however, it was so stressful to me. I am now 42, and I am accepted into the nursing school at Georgia College & State University. Dr. Fink, am I too old to go back to school. Also, I have a masters degree. Did I waste my time and energy to get that degree if I'm not going to use it?
    My apologies. I commented to ask where I can get the handouts I see in all your videos. I perused your website, but I did not see them. Dr. Fink, if you don't have time to answer, I understand. You are a busy fellow. Thanks again for making me laugh during your lectures. I just finished Anatomy 1 & 2. I don't think I could have passes by just studying the text. Tom Collins

      Hey! I felt very identyfied with what you told profesor fink, I also studied somethin else before coming to the realization that what I love is medicine. So dont get discouraged because of your age, its never too late to follow your dreams or to be whatever you've always wanted to be. Many people told me I woul never get accepted in to med school, that it was too hard and made it seem imposible for me also because of my age(I am 27)... But here I am 2 years latter in my second year at one of the best universities in my country, so good luck to you and dont give up. Saludos desde Venezuela!

    Hi Professor Fink.
    I was recently taught that autoimmune diseases are brought upon by lack of Vit D. Is there a combination of factors that attribute to autoimmune diseases including VIT D deficiency and strep throat?
    Thanks!

    • @professorfink
      @professorfink  3 года назад

      The exact cause of Auto-Immune Diseases is not known. And Different Auto-Immune Diseases may have different causes -- or a cluster of contributing factors. There is likely a genetic component. And there seems to be a viral or bacterial "trigger". Vitamin D levels may also affect the expression of the disease -- but this is probably a lesser factor.
