So curious rapid spin, the Squirtle family like signature move, it's in all the anime manga and even detective Pikachu why did none of them have it.
Rapid spin is trash and it’s signature move is more skull bash I would say
Rapid spin helps to remove stuff like stealth rock poison spikes etc

Why in the beginning, Froake used Toxic Spikes twice?

Well, the battle could have been too different if Squirtle/Wartortle had used rapid spin for removing toxic spikes. With Greninja you must be careful and try avoiding the battle bond form.
Anyway with a grass knot Mega-Blastoise would be OHKO easily.

A let down that the battle was decided on a flinch. Even a not-very-effective Water Pulse would have finished off the Greninja. The Blastoise line is overall much more solid than the Greninja one.
