Type O Negative is one of those great underappreciated bands that still goes under the radar.
I liked it: it's a cover, that's why they made their own version. They play a different genre of metal, so they gave this song a different atmosphere. Congrats and keep rockin'!

The song had a feel of doom, more simplistic. Drums weren't as "metal" with the fills or double bass etc. This is a "please look at us make this more metal" but really it's like taking away from the song. Anybody else think this?

I totally agree. This band sucked the life out of the song. The chorus is quite disappointing. The drumming is overdone. The girl?... meh... Fail.

+Alvaro Sarria yes, even though I like the vocalist. The rest of the band, not bad for heavy metal but terrible for doom rock. The drum is particularly off. They massacred the song.
This is, by far, one of the best covers I've ever heard of a Ghost song! Brought an original take on the song while still paying it tribute. Fantastic job, I just love it!

This gets better and better every time I listen to it. Great band. The last vocal part where she comes back and is singing at the top of her lungs + the music, is very powerful!! Love it!

Band is awesome. Just downloaded ,When an Angel Falls cd from amazon.com. It's worth the 9 dollars. Not sure why the physical cd is not for sale though. Eh, who cares, amazing band and awesome cover, and yes, very hot girl.

Where is the ceremonial stuff ? You miss the point of the song : adoration of satan. You worked a lot on this cover, I'm sure about that, but except of the lyrics there is absolutely nothing in common with the original song.

younger and younger.. People actually think the lead singer changes... only the vocals change in pitch.. Papa 1 was supposed to be around 80yrs of age.. papa 2 guessing roughly 50-60yrs.. papa 3 about 30-40 papa 4 the songers actual age possibly. listen to one of their original songs to one of their recent. same voice different pitch is all or tone.

Fantastic tribute, this mix sounds amazing on a good set of headphones. It sounds like it was mixed by a guitarist, and as a fan of guitars, I'm all for it. The vocals are absolutely haunting. I've probably listened to this 20 times by now!
