Okay, not a fan of the prince stories, but otherwise you’ll find me parked in front of the tv watching Hallmark as part of my Christmas ritual. Am really enjoying the more diverse topics. Can’t understand why some fans have moved to another network because they think Hallmark has become “too diverse.”
If you’ve seen one Hallmark Christmas special, or any of their shows for that matter, they are the same. They work with a formula of writing and style with each production, and for some reason, the people continue to devour them up. At least there isn’t blood, guts and guns and children can watch them. Me? I’d rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon.
If the TV is on my sister is usually watching the Hallmark channel. It's become a joke between us. Years ago I auditioned Lacey Chabert many times as a child actor for TV commercials when I was a Producer at Grey Advt. NY. She was talented back then as well, she booked a lot of jobs. 🎬
They would never film a wonderful Christmas story like O. Henry's "Gift of the Magi". It's beautiful and has some connection to people who don't have a lot of money.
Hallmark could change their name to Stressless TV! This is why I watch Hallmark. I know I won't see blood, stabbing, killing, much anger or unnecessary distress of any type. So much of it is predictable and most of the time predictability segments are time fillers. Last week I saw a movie that actually showed a real kiss. One with feeling, excitement and emotion. They actually moved their lips. It was honest and real and a huge surprise. It didn't add stress of any type to the movie and it certainly should have kept viewers awake. I applaud them for showing gay relationships and mixed couples and it's time to demonstrate a kiss is a major expression of love. After all love is what life is all about isn't it?
Now that you’ve dived into DEI, you also need to include trans people, disabled people, fat people, and little people. Don’t tell me you’re about diversity when everybody is still thin and abled and cisgendered!
HEY don't forget REAL Christians cuz i don't see not one REAL Christian with messages about GOD and THE LORD. Actually, for Hallmark being a lobbying body for Religious freedom, they have LOTS of movies that leave out their very own God, Jesus and his birth!
Bc you don't really know any African Americans besides the ones you work with. Kwanza is a Celebration and Observance, not a thing. And from that statement alone, I wouldn't share my personal life with you either if I knew you. Reeks of ignorance. 🙄😒
@@srichey444 I wouldn't share my personal life with you either, although you presume to know a lot about me. As a matter of fact, I have lived most of my adult life in majority-black cities and I still have never met anyone who observed Kwanza or even mentioned it.
@@0hffs Nobody in Africa celebrates it or even heard of it. It's borderline insulting and people need to stop acting like it's the same thing as historical holidays. Thanksgiving is mostly fake too but at least there's people celebrating it, whereas Kwanza is literally just a Hollywood meme at this point.
Lifetime is where thats at. Like, all the flavor, spice and everything nice is over on Lifetime. Gay, Latino's, and Blacks are seen more on Lifetime. Hallmark, not so much.
It has been awesome, really crypto is very frustrating. I was astonishing how I made $71,380 with $14k as a Novice. I got to put in some $$$ in it tho .
now that I'm older, I can not stand any more hallmark movies. quantity in them def means not quality these past few years. the acting is terrible, let's be honest.

Yes! I watch Hallmark movies (I can’t count how many times I watch the repeats either.) love ‘em. The ultimate feel good.
I always end up gravitating towards Hallmark movies during Christmastime. They’re a part of what gets me in the Christmas Spirit🎄❄️✝️
Totally with the sister’s opinion. Love Hallmark movies.
I ❤ Christmas!!! @4:30 gathered in the living room with that holiday vibes.
Holly Robinson Peete still looks as Beautiful as she did in the 80's. 😍

loved this interview and love the movies

Happy Kwanzaa!
I ditched cable 5 years ago and I don't know if I could ever go back to watching TV that has commercials.

Do they have any Hallmark movies about Hanukkah? I'll watch them when they do?
just ONE that we know of. they just started their "woke" agenda this year after all the backlash the previous years.
Yes they’ve made a couple and there’s a new one tonight.
there are like 5
@@samfisher6606 in total for their ENTIRE movie catalog or just for 2022?
@@0hffs Making 5 Hannukah movies in one year, when less than 2% of the US population observes it, wouldn't make sense.

Hilarious, I used to binge watch them and then I lost my patience with them. I will give them a second look. As I say, Hilarious.😂😂
I pay extra for Hallmark so I can watch the Christmas movies.

They did have one about larger women not too long ago. Can't remember the name of it, but it was good.
Would love to see more Hanukkah movies and Jewish representation as well!
Kwanza is still a thing? I have never met anyone who observed it.

Have you heard of Hanukkah?
yeah, dont know many Black Americans myself who celebrates it. Not everyone is attached to their motherland.

I have to wonder if Hallmark Channel will make a movie based on their "Maxine" character.
24/7 Hallmark channel from Halloween to New Year’s!
I'm waiting to see a non-stereotypical Mexican/Latino Hallmark movie.

Switch to Great American Family Channel Christmas movies. They haven't (yet) lost their way.
Still not enough diversity for me, it’s basically 99% Caucasian stories. I’ll pass.
*I'm done sitting tight for the award advance since i acquire$23,000 every 12 days of my investment* ❤️🙏
I'm astonished, I think am the only one familiar with Mrs Deborah, she handles my account too.
