Part: Fuelmiser Reverse Light Switch CRS124
First vid where I actually can see where the damn thing is.
Thanks Jacob, much appreciated.
Nice to see your videos coming along over the years👍🏻
Thank you, trying to improve the editing and make them snappier.
Hi Billy ; my younger brother has 2006 Getz with all lights working except both sides reverse light. The tail lights seem to have a known fault as there is small areas water can get in. I removed both sides and there was dirt / mud on the body behind the tail light - where the two meet. I cleaned all the crap up, and just assumed the globes were blown. I purchased 2 new reverse bulbs, and same problem. No reverse light. What would you do in my situation ? If the potential answer is reverse light switch , i'm in WA so i'll have a goosey gander to see if i can get one on the internet cheap
Hi Adam, if you've replaced the bulbs and the reverse lights still don't work chances are it's the reverse light switch. I've put the part details in the description and pinned a comment. Just search for it on eBay and you should have some luck.🙂
Thank you very much
Most welcome, glad it helped!
Thank you for the video. Do you know if the switch on a Hyundai i20 from 2011 is in the same place?
Thanks Michael, much appreciated. Although I'm unfamilar with the i20, and was unable to find any information about the reverse light switch location for them online, I suspect that if it's the 1.4L Gamma engine it will be in a similar location. I'd start by removing the air filter box and perhaps the battery and shining a torch down there as the switches ook generally the same.
