Met her in the late Sixties. She was doing a guest spot on `Emphasis` the Barbara Walters segment. `Emphasis` was NBC in the days of live radio. I was the show`s PA. There were 5 presenters each of whom had a spot on a different day. Rivers was I now discover taking a leaf out of Phyllis Diller`s book. She looked like a million dollars. Must have been a Chanel suit, a fur (now a no-no but even back then) coat. Her hair was done, recently tinted golden blonde. She looked amazing. She was fast back then but not as quick as she is today. Timing, repartee have improved in time.
