Santa Monica Civic ‘74. I was there! Excellent show.
Not only are they Musically talented, but they're funny as HELL!!!! Props to these guys!!!!
Klein's radio show was outstanding, as he's a world class comic - and here, he's got Donald and Walter. How can you go wrong?!!
Like Zappa these guys are one offs. Some of the the greatest music ever made.
Thanks for the interview.
My wife and I saw them headline at the U. of Toledo on Sunday April 21, 1974 (2 night's earlier they had to open for The Beach Boys in Columbus), and I can tell you that when Steely Dan got the sound crew's best effort and an arena full of their fans they were one of the best live bands on the planet. I always felt that if they weren't going to tour after that then they owed us a concert album. The only thing that got them back on the road was falling record sales in the early '90s, when music fans started computer file-sharing and burning their own CDs. Instead of touring to generate record sales, artists had to tour just to make a living.
These guys age like fine wine. I have to wonder why a person would go out of their way to watch this " rare" interview, and then post a dislike. I thought that is was a great watch!
Two absolute musical geniuses. Odiferous or not.
I remember this radio show on Sunday nights back in the day on the old wnew. Awesome post
@Greyson Griffin definitely, been using Flixzone for years myself :)
