Absolutely hated this movie the battle scenes were good but not one part of this movie made me care one little bit the main actor always seemed on the verge of a smile
Thanks for commenting, great observation on the verge of a smile thing, I wasn't thinking about that, but after the fact I agree and It'll probably bug me the next time I see this, though I have NO idea how soon that will be.
This movie is a full downgrade from Gladiator. Not only does it abolish every victory achieved throughout the first movie, destroys characters, introduces badly written and/or stupid new characters, it doesn't look as good, is less stylised and has nearly no unique charme. The music is forgettable, the entire film is riddled with plotholes and contrivances. The one and only thing that may be considered better than in Gladiator is the CGI. But if you put it into context of the time Gladiator probably made more out of what was there.
