The only thing I really remember about this map is rolling around the city on a doed harvesting lampposts 😂 apart from that I have forgotten a lot of this map! Watching this started to bring back bits. Like the gatcha a good food I believe is snow owl pellets if I’m remembering that right… So thanks Jim for the refresh! Great idea.
Sometimes the dinos get stuck on their way to the drop or in the mesh. If this happens while on singleplayer you can use the destorywilddinos command to end that wave
8:52 That’s a scout. It’s like a drone. If you destroyed one and repaired it, you could use it like a drone to scout creatures. I used to use them all the time to find dinos - before we got the Tek binoculars in Genesis. The higher the level, the farther you could fly them. It also spotted enemies and friends, like a Tek helmet.
I hope jim this time, i hope you'll gonna finally finish the extinction series because i actually love that series also i learn some things I don't know about the game. Nice video anyway jim
Just started watching the video, but thank you! I'm still on ASE due to a toaster of a laptop gaming wise, and Extinction is the story map that I know the least about.. I've kinda been learning about the maps through watching ASA content (only played ASE since August 2022), so this video is really appreciated cuz its an up-to-date video on ASE.. ❤
Jim u should've also covered the the element drops that u also have to use dinos to fight and get them. How it's super easy to get ur hands on element in extinction! XD
Thanks for doing this. I really like these I guess previews of certain maps. I find them really helpful since I haven't played ASE but I do enjoy ASA, and these videos are like a hey here's a heads up with what you can encounter. But I will say I do wish that tek dinos were a thing in ASA
The little flying robot thing was a scout for an enforcer iirc. Annoy them to bring equally annoyed enforcers to you! xD Can't wat to get Velonosaurs again, living turrets ftw! I'll need one for the Medieval mod! Gachas could produce serveral things but the most coveted were the element dust producing ones. I spent weeks trying to find one! Owl pellets were their favourite food and I think it gave a boost in happiness and productions as it was their fav tame food. They had a jealousy/depression meter apparentlyand could only be kept at a certain distances if there were many males and females in an area or they'd stop production and mope. Oh lord, winter biome with those Managarmrs...I hated those.
Good memories Jim I miss playing all the dlc for ase had so much fun have not got ascended till I get ascended when I get a new computer so I just play the island on a private server 😅 that is why I appreciate your hard work ond asa😊
My first gasbags was called Farty McFly. He didn't last long as i was too busy laughing at his noises when taking off, crashed into a wall, lost all his puff and got promptly eaten by a rex.
I loved gasbags! I got really good at flying them, and used them all over the place. My gasbags could always hold over 10k, so I would always use them to farm, and blow predators away from me. If you got good at using them, they were super useful!
the ATV's are trying to run away!! quickly!! chain them!😂 would be nice if enforcers and such get more corrupted modules besides doing more damage (which i believe they already do) to corrupted dinos.
So is this extinction been out before? ... im a new ark player and these all look exciting to me but you mentioned u made a base before, is this a revamp of an old map? unfortunatly im a little confused .. oh and love your accent :D
Ark survival Ascended is a graphic upgrade of Ark survival Evolved. With other new features. But all of the maps up to Fjordor are remasters unless stated otherwise
Extinction map overview before implies you have access to the Asa map. Honestly I am just tired of misleading youtubers. All you guys do is waste peoples time. Thumbs down.

Fun fact. The Defense Unit was a tamable creature like the enforcer. But WC removed them from the tamable side of the game.

Don't forget that every corrupted dino can damage metal tier structures. Even something like a dilo.

10:15 you can rebuild enforcers and scouts, but not defence units

Gas bags remind me of starship troopers. Pteradon baseball ⚾️. The White ranger zord "White falcon" skin would be great for the snow owl.

He did say at the beginning that he was in ASE.You only see and hear what you want.
Not misleading though. It is showing you the general idea for people new to the map. It will be fundamentally the same.
