This type of craftsman are a dying breed, the younger generation aren't interested in using there hands for anything less than typing a computer keyboard. It's a crying shame that this type of craftsmanship will some day be lost forever. It was a pleasure to see this highly skilled man at work, thank you for posting the video.
i see so many comments in this exact same vein, moaning and complaining and lamenting 'days gone by', and 'kids' with their 'computers', really it shows a lot of bitterness and says nothing about the wider world. who is it that is keeping this kind of work alive? young people like KRT - he must be all of 35... in terms of crafts and a lifetime of experience, he's a spring chicken, busy making sure this kind of work will not be 'lost forever'. and tig welders use computer chips, as do the cnc plasma cutters, laser cutters, 3d printers and a host of other modern tools that we all use along with the more traditional hand tools. are they allowed? evolve, adapt, or get left behind.
You're right, I'm 35, I also find it a pity that the craft is becoming less, but everything is evolving, I now also use a lot of CAD and CNC machines, series parts I cut with a laser, and no longer with the band saw. But still you are sometimes faster with individual pieces and prototypes with manual labor. Everything has advantages and disadvantages.
@@KRTframework exactly. and sometimes we do things by hand because we choose to. there so many options now, it's a great time to be working with these types of projects. there is also a great revival of traditional crafts, youtube is testament to that. these things certainly will not be forgotten.
When I first saw the video and side cover I was like "hes gonna make that?" It doesnt happen often but I'm jealous of the skills it took for that. Nice work.
watch 4 episodes in one go, top-notch engineering and fabrication skills, this different the Great Builders from good builders. The best Bobber build so far, very very imagination!!! can't wait for the next episode!!!
You are insane. All the filing work done by hand.... But then again, all great artists ever were seen as "insane". Such a BIG and empty, clean workshop. Just WOW. PS. You seem to have all the tools a grown man can dream of!
Really nice, and then the screws at the end... You could have welded an ally thread and then put a nut on the back, so you'd see nothing. However, I do like the fact you can undo the fins as this would make it really easy to clean every 6 months
Hello, I am still amazed by your spectacular way of working with finesse and precision. Thank you for sharing your videos with us, from which we can learn a lot as well as distract ourselves. All your videos are very short. Could you please tell me where I can get the sandbag like yours as well as that nylon fiber hammer and related tools? Thank you very much for everything. Greetings from Zaragoza (Spain). Marco Antonio
If i may ask ,where did you learn your trade ?????. Could you ever think of doing a royal enfield interceptor??......i ask because I've got one !!!!! Take care on the road, and again .....well done 👏👏👏👍👍👍

Very skilled without doubt ..but old Millyard would knock one off with a hammer and a pair of pliers while standing in a puddle in his backyard while his wifes cooking grows cold on the kitchen table.

What grits are you using for sandpaper?
What material? Is it the same material in each part?
2mm Aluminium, and the ribbs 4mm ;)

Any reason why only 4 fins on the side panel when the head has 5?
