Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I know Saints Row isn't what we loved from 1&2 but this game looks fun and that's all that matters to me. I'm not expecting the story to blow me away but I play games to have fun and escape. I'll also be playing this with a friend so I'm sure we'll have a good time
DIFFICULTY OPTIONS is greatly appreciated. AMMO FREQUENCY - I’ll choose low, to make scavenging and tactical play meaningful. TIME LIMITS - I hate and can often frustrate or ruin what would otherwise be fun gameplay.. So I might check that to easy… I really hope there’s options to disable health regen and use medkits only… I hate health regen..

It seems they just kept riding the slide downhill from 4, had hopes they would change the game for the better but its just more SR3 and 4 including art style.
So far I’m hyped, customization in just this preview alone is enough to keep things interesting and the full release I would think would be alot more open.

You know Saints Row 2 only costed $11 that's plus tax and it had 45 missions those are main missions the Saints Row reboot cost $50 and it only has 25 main missions so basically huge ripoff
Still waiting to see the PS4 version. But unlike CP2077 they already allowed dozens of RUclipsrs to spend hours with the game and share their personal opinions months before release. Saw an interview with the developers saying that they wanted to keep last gen version close to current gen version as much as they could, and that even with last gen hardware it allowed them to create things they couldn't with the old SR games. So I'm expecting the PS4 version to be good. After playing the SR3 remastered on PS4, I have no doubt the new one will look and play well.
Only 2 more weeks! Been a Saints Row fan since 2008 when the second one came out. Didn't like 3 AS much as 2 and this seems like a good mix between the two. Really hoping this can scratch that itch I've had for years. Saints Row 4 couldn't and even that was 9 years ago. It's long overdue!
I don't need this to be some mechanically deep GTA killer which is not what they're going for. I just need it to be customizable fun that I can come back to whenever I feel like engaging in action packed mayhem with a custom character and custom cars

I’m loving the look and feel of the game. I know a decent amount of people are upset it went in the “Fortnite” direction but I am cool with it. They knew they wouldn’t be able to match gta so they changed strategies and made a fun, ridiculous, and over the top experience.

I’m usually a stickler for story in games (I NEED IT, and go ones at that), but for Saints Row, I’ll avert my gaze elsewhere. It’s gotta be fun though, and I remember spending a bit of time on the zombie island in SR3 running around on foot killing hordes of the undead until I died.

One thing that the Saints Row never fails at is creativity and good gameplay. Definitely going to be using the star lord pistol mod. It looks like one of those games that won’t be fun to watch but fun to play I.E Guardians of the Galaxy so I can see that impacting sales a bit but as long as they keep showcasing gameplay and new combat mechanics I don’t see it failing to be a big game in terms of sales.
It honestly might even be a breath of fresh air from newer games which focus on story and player investment and I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, I absolutely love games with a well driven story. But a game like saints row where you can turn your brain off and just have fun is rarely done.

This games needs to be able to mod plus a cover system or be able to switch from side to side and gore because its takes away from the modern gameplay. i doubt saints row 5 will be open world online like GTAO…all saints row games in in the past have been 2 player co-op..bare in mind tho just like previous saints row games if someone wants to play online/co-op you will have to accept them same works for you if you want to play online/co-op you will to wait to be accepted by another player it’s not like GTAO where you can just go online anytime you want..idk if it’s still going to be like that in saints row 5 but it was like that in previous saints row games
This is why I didn't follow the band wagon and hating the game. Yeah characters aren't the original I get it but, can't wait for this. Hands down to me looks like crazy fun! If they do multiplayer like saints row 1 & 2. This should be the funniest game of the year for me!! Let's they do!
This games needs to be able to mod plus a cover system or be able to switch from side to side and gore because its takes away from the modern gameplay. Looks fun but they where lazy on player animation when in action. I wish they was shooting like the gangs in Saints Row 1 its to wacky in this new Saints Row Reboot they look too much like super heros then gang members it was a true gangsta feeling in Saints Row 1 my favorite one by the way. I hate how there directly close up in front of you shooting directly at you looks dumb, Its 2022 they should of added 1st person to it with a cover system that you can switch on the fly whenever you want.

I really hate that the most popular, important things for next gen....customization. Sweet! It seems like every game lately is announced, looks jaw dropping. Than slowly closer to release it ends up looking like everything else
It’s pre loaded on series X and let’s go 😉 also been playing saints row 3 remaster most of today too and this should be a fun sandbox and the boss factory is cool 😎 too 😃 💜
