NEW: Alexander Scourby reads the Apocrypha. Some have been critical of its publishing and those who are, can continue to hear the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation read by Alexander Scourby.
Historical Apocrypha facts. The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885.
It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save some money on the publishing of the King James Bible.
The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was:
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is TRUTH: John 17:17.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in TRUTH. John 4:24
When he, the Spirit of TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into all TRUTH. John 16:13

A SHORT PROPHETIC WORD, about how you, as ONE, can be a part in the fulfillment of PROPHECY today. Please read the following key verses relating to the Prophecy of Jesus in John 17.
In Mark 16:15, Jesus said this: “Go ye into all the WORLD, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (that’s EVERY ONE) Two Thousand years ago, to carry out Jesus's request, it had to be done in person, by walking or riding a donkey. However, today it can be done from the comfort of your home, using your mobile device.
The relevant Prophecy is found in the 26 verses in John 17. The entire chapter is Jesus' final prayer to God, just before being crucified. In that prayer Jesus asked God to do specific things for those who would follow, and they include the ONES following Jesus today.
In John 17:21, Jesus asked God: “That they all may be ONE; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be ONE in us: that the WORLD may believe that thou hast sent me." To be clear the them are the followers of Christ today. Jesus asked God four times in John 17: 11-21-22-23, to make them one. In verse 23, Jesus asked God: “I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made PERFECT IN ONE and that the world may know that thou hast sent me”.
PERFECT is a high bar, begging the question, would Jesus ask God for something impossible to accomplish? I think not, yet, the Prophecy in John 17, as of today, has not been fulfilled. Could this be the time for its fulfillment? Many believe so. If so then how?

NEW: Alexander Scourby reads the Apocrypha. Some have been critical of its publishing and those who are, can continue to hear the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation read by Alexander Scourby.
Historical Apocrypha facts. The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885.
It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save some money on the publishing of the King James Bible.
The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was:
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is TRUTH: John 17:17.

When he, the Spirit of TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into all TRUTH. John 16:13

A SHORT PROPHETIC WORD, and how you, as ONE, can help to fulfill PROPHECY: No kidding, please read on, and you will see how. In Mark 16:15 Jesus said: “Go ye into all the WORLD, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (EVERY ONE) Two Thousand years ago, that had to be done in person, walking, riding a donkey, or going on a ship. Today people can do it from the comfort of their home, on their mobile phone, laptop, desktop, etc.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with ONE single step. You can start your sharing journey with ONE single share. ONE share can start a ripple, millions of ONE’s sharing can create a tsunami of LOVE and TRUTH. Jesus said this in John 17:21 “That they all may be ONE; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be ONE in us: that the WORLD may believe that thou hast sent me." In fact, Jesus didn’t ask God to do that just ONE time, he asked him to do it four times in John 11, 21, 22, and 23. In fact, in 23 Jesus said this, “that they may be made “Perfect in ONE.” Perfect is a high bar. ONE must ask this question, would Jesus ask God to do something that was impossible? I think we all would say, of course not. Yet, that Prophecy has not been fulfilled as of today. Could this be the day and time of its fulfillment? We think yes. What can you do? NEW: Alexander Scourby reads the Apocrypha. Some have been critical of its publishing and those who are, can continue to hear the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation read by Alexander Scourby.
Historical Apocrypha facts. The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885.
It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save some money on the publishing of the King James Bible.
The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was:
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is TRUTH: John 17:17.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in TRUTH. John 4:24
When he, the Spirit of TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into all TRUTH. John 16:13

I love listening to and reading these scriptures, but it is a true shame that RUclips interjects advertisments right in the middle of a chapter. Bad form, RUclips...I'm sure you have the technology to fix this...that is to only interject ads at the end of a chapter. Please see what you can do...

Thank you for your comments about adverts and we can understand where you’re coming from. Let me say the following: First, RUclips Selects the ads for the videos, normally they are synergistic with the content and they can be skipped after 5 seconds.
Here is what a user M.W. wrote as a comment: I have RUclips premium, it's $10 a month. I never see a commercial. I don't pay for cable, I just use RUclips if I want to watch something, or listen to radio. I love the blessing of this Scourby channel, especially overnight and when I'm doing housework.
There is no business model in the world based on giving away goods and services. FREE programming is on TV, but ads appear to pay for that programing. If there are no ads, then a subscription fee is involved. We all pay monthly subscriptions, to NETFLIX, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc for content. It takes time and money creating Channel content as well as maintaining the Channel, it’s not FREE. We wish we could play the Bible Recordings FREE on RUclips, however, the reality of life is that it takes money to do anything
Jesus said this in Luke 10-7 “And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire; and Paul said this in 1 Timothy 5-17-19, 17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.18 For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. Historical Apocrypha FACTS: The word APOCRYPHA means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books published in the original 1611 King James Bible for 274 years, and was placed at the end of the Old Testament with the New Testament following. Then in 1885, for reasons unknown, they were removed. So we are putting them back for those who want to read the missing Books of the APOCRYPHA. It's not certain why the APOCRYPHA was taken out of the 1611 King James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save money on publishing the King James Bible.

NEW: Alexander Scourby reads the Apocrypha. Some have been critical of its publishing and those who are, can continue to hear the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation read by Alexander Scourby.
Historical Apocrypha facts. The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885.
It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save some money on the publishing of the King James Bible.
The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was:
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is TRUTH: John 17:17.

When he, the Spirit of TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into all TRUTH. John 16:13

Why so many commercials? They take away from the reading 🙏
Thank you for your comments about adverts and we can understand where you’re coming from. Let me say the following: First, RUclips Selects the ads for the videos, normally they are synergistic with the content and they can be skipped after 5 seconds.
Here is what a user M.W. wrote as a comment: “I have RUclips premium, it's $10 a month. I never see a commercial. I don't pay for cable, I just use RUclips if I want to watch something, or listen to radio. I love the blessing of this Scourby channel, especially overnight and when I'm doing housework.”
There is no business model in the world based on giving away goods and services. FREE programming is on TV, but ads appear to pay for that programing. If there are no ads, then a subscription fee is involved. We all pay monthly subscriptions, to NETFLIX, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc for content. It takes time and money creating Channel content as well as maintaining the Channel, it’s not FREE. We wish we could play the Bible Recordings FREE on RUclips, however, the reality of life is that it takes money to do anything
Jesus said this in Luke 10-7 “And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire; and Paul said this in 1 Timothy 5-17-19, 17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.18 For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. Historical Apocrypha FACTS: The word APOCRYPHA means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books published in the original 1611 King James Bible for 274 years, and was placed at the end of the Old Testament with the New Testament following. Then in 1885, for reasons unknown, they were removed. So we are putting them back for those who want to read the missing Books of the APOCRYPHA. It's not certain why the APOCRYPHA was taken out of the 1611 King James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save money on publishing the King James Bible.

NEW: Alexander Scourby reads the Apocrypha. Some have been critical of its publishing and those who are, can continue to hear the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation read by Alexander Scourby.
Historical Apocrypha facts. The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885.
It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save some money on the publishing of the King James Bible.
The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was:
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is TRUTH: John 17:17.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in TRUTH. John 4:24
When he, the Spirit of TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into all TRUTH. John 16:13

We know Ephesians from its famous spiritual warfare passage, but what exactly did Paul picture as the greatest of all battles? Philippians is a letter of instruction, providing models to follow. In it we will find Paul, Jesus, Timothy and Epaphroditus offered as those whom we should seek to copy. Colossians is an enigma one needs to play detective trying to recover the clues of what Paul was likely confronting. Finally, Philemon is gigantic in its implications contrary to its miniature word length. Time spent with these letters will be richly rewarded and equip us for life in multiple dimensions; of spiritual, personal and corporate relationships confronted daily. Specifically, these four letters from captivity will release any of us from unconscious imprisoning ideas. Here is a documentary video called in the Footsteps of Paul, shot on location in ROME, with a visit to The Mamertine Prison, which is now a museum. Both Paul and Peter were executed by NERO in that prison around 65 AD. Peter wrote 2 Timothy and Philippians from that prison. As you will see, both Paul and Peter were only able to write their spirit anointed Epistles with the anointing of God. First, RUclips Selects the ads for the videos, normally they are synergistic with the content.
Second, there is no business model in the world that’s established on giving away goods and services. FREE programing is on TV, but ads appear every so often. There is no business model in the world based on giving away goods and services. FREE programming is on TV, but ads appear to pay for that programing. If there are no ads, then a subscription fee is involved. We all pay monthly subscriptions, to NETFLIX, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc. for content. It takes time and money creating Channel content as well as maintaining the Channel, it’s not FREE. We wish we could play the Bible Recordings FREE on RUclips, however, the reality of life is that it takes money to do anything

Historical Apocrypha facts. The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885.
It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save some money on the publishing of the King James Bible.
The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was:
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is TRUTH: John 17:17.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in TRUTH. John 4:24
When he, the Spirit of TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into all TRUTH. John 16:13

Thank you for uploading all the books. As for this one, there is a defect at the end of this narration, where it stops before the last verse is finished. Also, early in the book there is a portion that has some static and a skip. Not sure if you knew this.

Why are there suddenly ads ?
This is content that you are not paying for. It’s expensive to put content on RUclips because we have to continually maintain it. It’s like TV, you get free programming but there are TV commercials. I think you can stop the commercial after 5 seconds and they only run every 30 minutes or so. The other alternative it paying a subscription fee for 9.95 per month to get the content with no commercials.
