The Hollywood Hopper

The Hollywood Hopper is a more realistic hopper pattern from my vise. It sits low and has a great hopper profile. It looks complicated, but once you figure out how to assemble it, it's an easy tie.

Donald a fly with no legs will not look appealing to any fish. The more legs the better balance it has. I caught a 30" Steelhead on a hopper with 8 legs. I place the legs flat straight on each side so the fly can drift without sinking.

More foam the better and longer it floats. Bigger Ship, bigger anchor you can fish with also.
