Love my SV20. I use it with my UAD OX Box for recording at home sounds killer. Some pedals that pair well with it are: king of tone, Klon and Rat circuit.
I just took out a creamback and put the original speaker back in. Tried a greenback too but in the combo i think the factory fitted speaker works best, who would have thought?
Take out the top V-Type and replace it with an M65 Creamback. DO IT. And for anybody with the combo, put in a WGS Veteran 10. DO IT! I also like the Mojotone BV25M and BV30H in the 2x12. TRY IT. I'm not Simon, but I'm telling you what he says. You're using the same patch jumper as me. TWINKIES!
I have both kinds one by 12 creamback; and a 4 by 12 and 2 by 12 of the V's... TBH I like both... The cream back is definitely louder speaker.. but I think the vs personally sound closer to what a vintage Marshall -the few I've played -sound like. . I also think it depends on how dark your guitar is... I like the cream back because I tend to use treble -heavy guitars ... But for a dark guitar I would honestly suggest the V
@ The mojotone bv25M is a far far better greenback than any modern reissue or any other clone, the only match is a vintage pulsonic g12m for $1k, and you’ll find they are no better than the mojotone. I would stake my third leg on it.
Gee, you mean a $1,300, 20watt amp is good? With an affiliate link too! Gee, what a talky product commercial you made. Almost as good as Chevy telling me "we build'um tough, in M'Rica". Thanks for all the sales links, as I'd never find product without them! Cheerio!
Great tones and playing, Jack.
That amp does sound killer.
Great video as always, thank you, Richard Castle!
Been really going back and forth of pulling the trigger on one of these. Then this video popped up.. The gods are telling me something..
me to for months i tossed around the idea, but i bought a DSL40CR and its really nice, but i do love the Plexis
I have my SV20h going into PRS 2x12 with creambacks, and really enjoy it, very versatile.

Fantastic for little gigs and the studio, but use an 4 times 12 inch cab for the best result! ♨️
Thats heavy to move. I use a 212 with a greenback and v30

V types are better speakers than they get credit for
Do a comparison between this and the DSL40CR, love to know the difference.
Awesome Jack have a wonderful day ❤😊 also I have a atomach atomach stomach flu ❤😢🤢😥
