The quote you shared - "All girls are the same, if you hang around the same kind of girls." - it really needs to be shared more. This is one of few quotes I can genuinely take out of context and use. I remember, one of the only wise things i think I've ever said is, "A quote taken out of context is no quote at all." It has a very specific context for it, one that is needed for it to make sense. I don't particularly think yours has the context requirements. It has a little bit of one; if you stay around the same person long enough, you may find that the people you hang around are the same as them. This applies to nearly everything though. Not just people. Animals, cities, nature. "Variety is the spice of life," they say. Most people are fine with salt though. It really sucks, especially when cinammon, paprika, cumin, and garlic exist. I feel like i should digress and get back to my original point, but i never had one to begin with. I just wanted to say what I've said in this comment, along with the fact that your quote is very, very quotable. In nearly every situation, with nearly any variable. Edits: Corrections found 2. One typo, one citation poorly cited.
@@badatsomerhing thank you for sharing your thoughts and you’re own quote. I find your quote to be very interesting and one I will think about over time.
@@o_Tubasa_o Thanks! It's definitely not so important to be used often, but in the context of a debate it can be used as a sort of rebuttal for a poorly articulated argument. If you've ever seen the Moistcritikal clip where he makes fun of the one congress man by taking his words and showing just how ridiculous they are, you could kind of see how important it is. That clip without context and without proper citation shows him in a bad light. But clips with context that are bad can be taken out to be put in a good position for an argument. To me, I feel like it's important to be said. Or you can just lead the horse to water, drown it, and walk home. /J "You can lead a horse to water, but if you drown it you have to walk home." This one is far more important than the other. It also feels like a better quote than the other one, from which it is derived.
I don't think you should force yourself to end those friendships with girls simply because you want something more and they don't. I think you can still find value from those friendships regardless of initial differing motivations
That yippie was unexpected 😭
