Little tip, the autocrafter can pull from itself. So when you craft, for example, explosive powder to then build explosive, you don't have to transfer it to a locker, it can stay in the autocrafter's inventory and will get used.

As someone that started after your first planet crafter video and wasted way too much to find everything I could create, I have a challenge for you. Make a meteorite crash pad above your main base, flat surface to catch all and to make it easy to find.
I love the Planet Crafter VODs, they're so fun. 💚This is just the best thing to pop up on YT as I'm recovering from being really sick yesterday. Can't wait to see the game-changing items. 👀
Regarding Evan's worries about Satisfactory; I also struggle with being overwhelmed with very large games but I absolutely love how Satisfactory does its Tier system and gives you very clear goals to work toward and splits the game into smaller more manageable chucks.
If you are sitting in the seats in the back, you go back with the rover. No one can be sitting in the front.
Flares are great for large ships. I mark places that are full explored or dead ends with red flares, and trail to exit with green flares.
Or, if you have excess, using iridium and uranium for red/green also works but they're not quite as bright.
Same, though I find that red flares can be a bit hard to spot once the power is back on. I walked right past them a few times. So I switched to dark blue. (Purple for "explore again" where there's closed doors.)
@MocaLykke good point, a darker color would be easier for when the power is on.
I do this too!
A tip about autocrafters: they're great for making things that require grown components, like mushrooms or squash. If you put the growers within the radius of the autocrafter, they will make the item as soon as the food is done growing.
I used "hug the left wall" tactics when exploring big ships. Can recomend. Worked well. Just a few cases, when there are loops in the ship, where you might miss something with that tactic. But its so easy and fast to explore in that way :)

Haven't watched the video yet. But that is 100% how I feel playing with my husband 😅
Is it just me or are they fighting behind the scenes. There's been a number of times where I've seen some small subtle things that make me wonder if they're having relationship problems. For instance there were a couple of times where Katt complimented Evan but to me it seemed like it was difficult for her to say with the way she immediately reacted after saying it with body language. It just doesn't seem the same as before to me and I worry that they wouldn't say anything until It became big enough that they would feel the need to say something to the audience. Not wanting to scare or saddened the audience until they reach a breaking point.
I don't think that at all, I think sometimes Evan says something trying to be funny and Katelyn doesn't find it funny and instead has an awkward or sort of cringe reaction.
@DiceReads Yee no I see that sort of thing all the time from them and is normal to me. Specifically she was needing some water and Evan had put some water in one of the chests in an out base and she found it and he told her that he did that for that specific scenario. She told him that he was "so good baby" But and maybe it's just me but she seemed too not want to say it by her face and fast blinking and the way she looked away from him as she said it. Again this was all subtle and none of it was particularly strongly obvious so I could just be reading into it too much because of other similar things that I may have misinterpreted. I hope that's what it is because I love watching them and they inspire the idea that love between two people can be boundless. Not that they wouldn't fight from time to time but Just because of the same sort of thing that we've seen on RUclips before with popular MMOs and how things can quickly fall apart to the audience. Both because they kept it private until it reached a boiling point and didn't want to cause a fuss out of potentially nothing. So in the fans found out about it We were caught off guard and devastated to hear it. Looking back at that there were a lot of very small subtle signs that I feel like I missed. And I also feel like I'm seeing some of those here too. Again I really hope I'm wrong and just oversensitive from that situation with PoP MMOs.
For this type of game, when aiming for efficiency, I think you should maximize terraforming as fast as you can before doing anything else first. That is how you progress and unlock other stuff. Once it is at the max, then you can explore and organize and other things as it passively goes. If you are organizing and exploring when the terraforming is going slow, you aren't playing the game efficiently.
Alot of the game y'all explore and do other stuff then get to a point where you're stuck, then terraform and then like 1min later you unlock new stuff that would have been helpful for exploring or working on next stage of game.
I'm suggesting flipping the order, prioritizing terraforming first and maxing out as much as you can (you can check by see if your progress/ % is moving at a reasonable pace, if it is barely moving then it is because you need a certain material you dont have or havent done enough terraforming), and then when you can't terraform any more, explore and organize until next is unlocked and so on.

if you guys wanna not get lost in the ships then you should draw a map. just draw it by hand, all it needs to have is just a line map for the corridors and then you know all the turnings and can work your way back.

An increase of 150% is an increase of 1.5x, not a *total* of 1.5 of the original. So both Katelyn & Evan are correct, you just need to follow through with the last step of adding the increase to the base.
So, if the base output is 100 (B), and the increase is 150% aka 1.5 (P): 100x1.5 = 150. But you don't stop here. You add the 150 increase to the original 100, giving you 250 as your new total output (T).
(B x P) + B = T is the equation.
(100 x 1.5) + 100 = T
(150) + 100 = T
250 = T
It's the same as if you had a 100% increase. We intuitively know that 100% increase is double the original base. Plug that in to the equation:
100=B, 100% or 1=P. We believe the new total output (T) should be 200.
(100 x 1) + 100 = T
(100) + 100 = T
200 = T

Selling food is what I see most others do. Autocraft food, auto sell and choose what you want when the trader returns.
good advice if your in a maze, always turn in one direction, you will eventually explore the whole thing.
I was hoping earlier on that Evan was going to change the signs above the door to “Live, Laugh, Larva”
And specifically for the re-explore to-do next time, one could be the North East danger area. Unless that’s more of a Mystery list item (I haven’t played this, it’s all a mystery to me).

I think if you place the explosive better than you need less, I always jump onto the rock and try to get it as far in as possible.
And you should get the 3x3 room before you rebuild your storage and do it together with rebuilding the base. best is to build the new rooms next to the old ones and just move everything over, this way you only move it once.
10 rockets max??? I have 13 animal rockets in my play though with my 6 year old :D
and I did get multiplier bonus for all of them, so I don´t think there is a max.

I don't know why this game is as engrossing to watch y'all play as it is. Haha. With the other survival game streams like Grounded or Sons of the Forest, there's the story element there on top of the crazy base building, whereas the story here is... thin. Yet, I'm looking forward to every new game changing stream.

I think you need a day to reorganize all of the materials and make your base more comfortable. Does the planet have a name? Do you own the planet? I love the game plan 😊
The lore of the game is that they are convicts sent to barren planets to make them habitable in exchange for a commuted sentence. They don't own anything on the planet and are allowed no contact with anyone except their handlers. They are not the first group sent to this planet either, but all other's have failed.
You should really go chack out that pink cave again. There could be something that would greatly increase your biomass. Hint its pink and glows (not a crystal)

When I'm exploring large wrecks, I use a uranium rod to mark my exit hallway and iridium rods to mark areas I've fully explored that way when I inevitably get lost I have some help lol

i started playing this because of them, I've almost beat the game. I just now thought to get mods, it wasn't easy to get the mods to work but i finally did. now i have stacking items! i highly recommend the QOL mod collection, game changer!
