Nuno is such a talented artist. I've no idea why his solo works weren't more commercially successful. Not only is he one of the best guitarists ever, he can play multiple other instruments, sing, write and produce. There aren't many who can do that. I have so much respect for him.
Because grunge took over, and Nuno wanted a piece of it. I'm not speaking for him, but his writing says it all. Nuno will be around for a very long time. Amazing more things to come.
Nuno`s solo stuff deserves a lot more attention it truly is amazing stuff from this right to dramagods is truly inspiring no one out there has a keen sense of melody quite like Mr Bettencourt HE WAS ALWAYS MORE THAN JUST A SHIT HOT GUITARIST . He was and still is a truly gifted song writer and no one can rip or sound quite like him when he lets loose every thing he did was always to enhance the song not just for shreds sake .

i wish i had a chance to meet nuno ,but i never have , i hope they tour again next year,i will see them as many times as i can.I still get friggin goose bumps when i tell my friends how good he was, i have seen between 250-300 concerts in my life , i still say he is one of the top 10 players that i have ever seen!maybe #1

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a rip on Where is my Mind but theres for sure some inspiration from it. Where is my Mind is too good to be ripped off, it's untouchable.

There are several technical elements of grunge present in here (i can list them for you if necessary) even if it doesn't fit the genre in its true form. Nuno himself said in an interview that he went for a grunge vibe in this musical fase, i have that magazine.
