Very nice Justin!!! I send these videos to my 15 year old, who made varsity as a freshman. A little intimidating for him, but doing fine. Thanks, these help a lot👊🏻
Hi coach Justin I watched all your videos and watching your new one right now but can you think of and idea of what my RUclips channel should be. I play baseball everyday with my cage in backyard and I have 2 hitting coaches and 2 pitching coaches and 4 regular on my team but you are making me so much better have a great night
Great video! I was trying to explain this to my son today and the red and green light mentality make it simple and clear. Please keep these gems coming .
I’m 36 and finally really understand hitting mechanics throughout many of your videos. Started implementing it these last 2 days and immediately have more bat speed and I’m hitting bullets. Thanks coach!
Justin, do you have any tips for me? I tend to wrap the bat around my head and to make up for that, I tend to drop my back shoulder. Is there anything I could do to change that?
Make sure that when you are in the separating process of your swing, you point the knob of your bat at the catcher's left knee, and vice versa if you're a lefty. This may or may not help.
Hey coach Justin I have an issue where my back leg kind of stays still my whole swing which makes me stick my front leg out in order to stride rather than having it a little bent. Know what I can do to fix it?
@@danielbrottlund6904 Well, your coach is slightly correct. To be exact, your front foot should be pointing at the second baseman during the end of your swing (if you're a lefty, it should be the shortstop). This shows that you're are actually planting your front foot and transferring weight properly which prevents your foot from over-rotating in this case.
i just had my first game last night and i didn't get a hit at all 4 at bats im hoping this will help Edit: We have had 10 games now and my batting average has sored to over .600

I have a question, I’m 5’10 and 14 yrs old. How long should my baseball bat be?
I’ve been struggling trying to find the right size bat.
I’ve got a friend that’s 6’0 And he uses a 33
I’m 5’5 and 14 but I only use a 31

Noce
This is what I needed thank you
I’ve been doing really good and I’m hitting dingers and hard hit line drives should I change to your plan or stick to mine?
I would stick to what works for you, but that’s just me.
What is your advice on a mentality on taking every pitch middle or to right field?
I’m no coach, but I love that approach.

I know this may sound obvious and uncritical, but just prioritize rotating your back leg
As my coach always says, “aim the top of you back shoe at the pitcher and have a straight front leg.”
@@danielbrottlund6904 Well, your coach is slightly correct.
