Uganno didnt have too much on the offensive side (we kind of knew that before he was goong to play). But man his defensive play for 3 blocks and pressure in the paint was good to help give bradshaw and mitchell rest. Also, like seeing Theiro and his energy.
The difference it makes to have guards that can and will confidently and aggressively go at their man on offense. Wagner, Dillingham and Reed are such a massive upgrade over the guards we’ve had these last few years.
I agree, but I think Wagner needs to stop with dribbling the ball so much. Reed is so much better at point guard, he sees the whole floor and makes long passes better than anyone.
I don’t know how you got wagner dribbled too much today. I think Reed is probably the better overall player but Wagner was better in this one. DJ had 5 assists to only 2 turnovers and put tons of pressure on UNC defenders by getting into the lane. It’s not over dribbling in this instance. He’s mixing in fakes, hesitation, direction and speed changes. I really think that was the best game DJ has played. He was very sharp today.
@@sherriecorder4743Reed played ok. But like ive said before, Wagner is the guard needed to get you deep in the tourney. Him and Dillingham. It showed in this game. Wagner and Dillingham will get those gritty buckets that Reed can't get.

Wagner is playing better lately too, the game is starting to slow down for him. Dilly is who I exepcted to be more of a project but he has been incredible, as has Reed. Fun group to watch.

He played good overall but also had a bad streak where he messed up or forced the play or fouled 4 or 5 plays in a row I couldn't believe it he had me worried but it worked out.

it does feel like a team that can be an old school KENTUCKY team with some personality

When you got a fast paced and hard fought game like that, I think that the TOs are expected. I do agree however that we need to cut them down.
