I have just scratched the surface of the Punch throw and will be looking to continue incorporating a few more of the elements that Broderic talks about. Let me know if you do the Punch throw or something similar on approach shots. Thanks for joining in on the Journey.
That is a big reason why I like it as well. I found myself looking away with my old form and this way you can keep your eye on the target. Still have a lot to practice, but really like how quick I was starting to get consistent on the throws.
been watching brod for awhile now.. i like that throw as well.. but i step back with my left foot more than the right.. helps me not pull my throw right from grip locks or whatever
@@mrichrich-nr8id I definitely understand why you might step back a little more with your left foot (back foot). Over this past week I have been trying to experiment with a little bit more of a stagger which also feels like you get a little more power with it as well. I will continue to try that and see how the consistency progresses. Thanks for stopping by!!

Great stuff! the upshot is next on my to-do list. I'll probably be picking your brain on this in about 2 weeks!!
Thanks! Sounds good on the 2 weeks, you definitely don't want to have a big change before your big tournament next week.
Great throws! I like how you can essentially still face the basket and throw with this punch throw.

I will have to add this to my practice list.. I don't throw a very good backhand, but this might help me improve
@@jeffcarney2426 I really like it and it has added more consistency to my game over the last week. Let me know how it goes for you.
