Really nice review ! I heard on the dev stream that you can go from "Epic" to "High" settings to remove the "butter" face of your character and apparently, there is not much difference for the other settings.
I remember spending ages really getting all of the flip tricks down consistently in Skate 3 without having to change stance, so learning on this game is gonna be awesome. Great video! :)
This is a great game from what iv played so far, I do agree that unless you have a passion for skateboarding and have a real want to learn this game I think a lot of people will pass it off as too complicated and with that said I do feel that Skate is still the happy medium for the casual player, would still love to see a Skate 4 game but this is definitely a beautiful game with a clever play mechanic and when you do grasp it it’s very addictive.
02:06 Yeah it doesn't matter what you're coming from, the triggers will take some getting used to. I can't think of another game that does that and years of extreme standardization of what the left stick does makes very difficult to get the hang of for a quite a while. Obviously that'll vary from person to person but still.

Thank you
I didn’t know that was the reason people put their hands infront of the lense in skating videos. Thats pretty cool to know.
Been hyped for this game since the kickstarter! It looks great!
Im excited for this game to. I also skateboard well used to. I got a pinched nerve in my lower back so cant do much anymore. This game looks like EA skate and i miss those games because I feel like skateboarding isnt get much appreciation in the game world.
Dude, solid runs, been playing early access for a few days now and I had no idea the trick system was so robust
Looks really great, really a big fan of the Lurknyc / other raw nyc skating, really wanna play this
Fakie heel at the end was tight
Great video man! I agree with everything you said. Great game, looking forward to the evolution of it.
I think this vid might have convinced me to try this game out, great video bro 👍
Ladies and gentleman this is what you get when a developer is passionate with his project.
kummer45 I feel like skate 4 would have naturally progressed into this
Finnally a skating game. Tonyhawk and other skatebuoarding games does not have almost anything common with skateboarding. This is kind of game that a dreamed about when i was teenager.
its looking so much better than 3 years ago and even 6 months ago
Looks absolutely badass!
I feel like I've been living under a rock. How did I miss this? I happily stumbled upon your video right now and I too am the perfect demographic. Early thirties guy with less time for skateboarding in my life. This looks absolutely amazing. Thanks for sharing, this will be the first early access game I've purchased and it looks well worth it. Cheers!
About the "weird looking manequin player models" you have to change the settings to high instead of ultra, it fixes the white skin.
@Bob Ross I think they actually fixed the bug in the latest update.
I can already see the awesome DLC that's going to come out for this game
02:06 Yeah it doesn't matter what you're coming from, the triggers will take some getting used to. I can't think of another game that does that and years of extreme standardization of what the left stick does makes very difficult to get the hang of for a quite a while. Obviously that'll vary from person to person but still.
the game is already amazing on this early access stage, imagine what it will become in the feature.
This has such huge potential. Dlc could be unreal.
Never expected to see a gaming youtuber i've watched before do a half cab 5-0 bigspin. Dope
Buy the game and support the devs let them know that we appreciate creativity.
Nice vid. Best part was the ollie up to switch front side grind. That was sick. These dudes owe you me buying their game. Multiplayer would be amazeballs in lock down
