    I found your teaching style very easy to follow and detailed. I find it difficult to mix almost every color! Right now I'm looking at a certain shade of plum.

    Oh my goodness! I needed to watch this earlier today! We had to create blush and sage both! We have most of the colors, but not eggplant. Will be adding. One color I know others on cookie boards are always asking how to achieve is navy, which we achieve by starting with royal blue, then adding a wee bit of purple, followed by a wee bit of black. A couple colors we need help with are coral and that deep purples and burgundies.

      Yes!! Navy is a difficult one for sure! Thanks so very much for this input! I’ll be working on dark color tutorials VERY soon. Stay tuned! 😊

    Sage Green or grey. Thanks for your time you have a gift.

      You’re very welcome! If you’re looking for a darker sage green, I would add a little forest green to your avocado/wedgewood mixture. If you’re looking for a more sage gray color, I would add some slate or a SMIDGE (like a pin prick) of black little by little. Hope this helps!

    How do you achieve Burgundy?

    • @homegirlcookies8888
      @homegirlcookies8888  Год назад +1

      Burgundy is definitely a tricky one! However, I would start with some Super Red and add some purple to it. Play around with those amounts until you get closer to a burgundy shade. You’ll probably use a tad more red than purple. After that and depending on the shade of burgundy you’re wanting, you might add a bit of royal blue to it. Don’t add brown, though! That’ll take you more towards the maroon family. Hope this helps! 😊

    How about muted orange please.

    • @homegirlcookies8888
      @homegirlcookies8888  2 года назад +1

      There are many ways to achieve muted orange, but I usually use AmeriColor pumpkin with a smaller amount of orange. Then, I mute that mixture with small amounts brown. If you don’t have pumpkin, you could try a combo of orange with a little yellow added to it followed by small amounts of brown. Just be careful adding in the brown. Start with small amounts and mute from there until you have your desired shade. I hope this helps!
