I think we can all agree who stole the show here... 😃❤️ Btw - when I was opening the video I thought you would show the shot where the OB is in the corner pocket, you shoot it and the CB goes off the short rail to long rail and then to the middle pocket... 😂
I must admit that this is the absolute top Rasson product placement with all those trophies in the background and Darren himself in front of the camera!
Did that scratch last week hit it too hard scratched in the left corner when I tried hitting the rail took a crazy spin. So just hit it much softer? Except cue ball was much closer with same angle
Bottom left and throw the cue into the object ball. Comes back 2 rails to the bottom right pocket area. It’s more advanced but not too difficult with practice. Should have these shots in beginner - amateur - advanced in each vid. Thanks again
I get what you're saying but, in my teachings over the years, the biggest factors are always cue ball control, and percentages. Sure, there are times when you're forced (8 ball perhaps??) to play the shot you described, but it's lower percentage and offers difficult control. If given the choice, the slight overcut with controlled speed off the long rail is going to be successful far more often and is more easily repeatable. That's just my 2¢, anyway. Take care.
would you still suggest shooting this shot the same way if you’re playing on a bad/bar table where the scratch able pocket is lower than the rest of the table?
Gosh, I hate this shot. This feeling of helplessness when you know it's a scratch, you hope it'll hit the knuckle or something, you go for the shot and... yep, it's a scratch :)).
Haha she did m8 she did on another note the dot you were on about when I was younger I would never have scratched I always hit the shot extra soft top left when I got older I don't know why I hit them to hard I did have a break from pool for 30 years though and I always hit centre ball resulting in a scratch thanks for your input darren
The dog was enjoying the scratch.
i had to rewatch this because the dog in the background had me distracted 😂😂😂😂

I heard nothing as soon as the dog came into the room 😂
Thanks for all the great videos, they are much appreciated!
Looks like your dog needed a scratch 😊
That’s a gold comment
Love all your videos darren. Keep doing your thing. Your a legend
This was brilliant, thanks Darren.
Thanks for tip!
Love the advice, love the dog! I'm heading to the table to practice and you get that little guy a flea collar! 😅
Duly noted ..thanks Darin !
What was that? I was watching your Pup! Cute
Couldn't stop watching the pup going crazy in the corner long enough to focus on the video 😂
Love your co-star...... 😊
I really like that detailed info about what to do but i would be greatful if you can explain what is that dog doing 😊😊😁

I noticed the dog first, then the lesson and then the comments 😅
His dog's Fargo is higher than mine
Your dog 🤣
Helps cue elevation to avoid scratching?
No ! Do as I said and you be more successful than any other way or shot pal
@@dynamiteappleton he just forgets the position for tha 9😊

I don't have a problem with the common scratches. It's those pesky surprise scratches🤣
thought he was going to show multiple shots that are scratches lol. There are a lot of other ones that are hidden but guaranteed to scratch.
I had to watch the video twice because the dog stole the show the first time.
Or you could just put screw on the cue ball.
Yeh that’s good if want to rely on luck 🍀
@@dynamiteappleton How is that relying on luck? You screw it you change the angle of the cue ball after it strikes the 8, no??
@@jonpearse6465 because you can’t get position on the 9 unless get lucky and kiss it into position
@@dynamiteappleton Ahh I see, so how to not scratch and get position on the 9. Sorry I didn't know that was the aim.
The dog didn't avoid the scratch...
Can we expect more dog cameos on future videos?
Maybe with the dog explaining and doing the shot.
But I'm really good at pocketing the white ball...
Haha Darren your dog was trying to show us how to avoid the scratch don't know if he or she succeeded m8
She had a scratch :-)

Sorry, I stopped listening when the star of the show entered at 1:37.
