As a Keralite from the Malabar region, I request the authorities to address the serious issues at Calicut International Airport. Despite being highly profitable, it suffers from minimal infrastructure, a congested parking area, and unethical parking management. Shockingly, these agencies have even threatened people’s lives, attacked innocent individuals, and damaged cars. Immediate action is needed to ensure safety and improve the traveler experience."

There has to be a sustained demand for all these expensive flight destinations. If there were enough people to fly the national carriers regularly and pay the price needed, the airlines like Lufthansa, Cathay, BA, etc. would all come. Neither are there that many foreign tourists coming to Cochin, nor is there enough demand from Keralite travellers willing to pay for direct connections. To save money, they'll fly the Gulf carriers on connecting flights instead.
Forget BA & LH they cant be bothered clearly . Atleast bring Turkish airlines to COK .... we can say that an european airline ( border line ) started service from kochi . 😅Love Taj always .
