I've only read excerpts but I know the only thing that could ever be more compelling might be the words in Pat's journal ... if only the cowardly weasels hadn't burned Pat's journal along with his body armor. A millionaire NFL football player that gives up the contract to become an Army Ranger so he can get in the fight fast ... that's a man that is selfless even before the bullets fly. If the higher ups knew what Pat was writing in his journal, which was an honest accounting of all that he'd seen and experienced; if those journals showed leadership elements in a poor light, it's understandable (though not acceptable) why crooked higher ups might make the call to burn Pat's journal along with his kevlar helmet and flak jacket.

Pat Tillman was a awesome guy. I remember standing outside the enlisting building with him and his brother as we all waited for the bus to pick the group up to take us to sky harbor airport and off to our osut. They went to Georgia ft Benning as I was off to Kentucky ft Knox. 20 years went by fast.
Every single sports outlet is jealous of this interview. They wish they could be friends with Aaron and have him be chill like this for a half hour every week. Keep it up Pat.
As a Saints fan, I really appreciate the insights of one of the greats. In ALL of these A.R. Tuesdays I feel he cuts through all the B.S. that the National Sports Media puts out there, especially about our Saints team. I'm just a random guy on the internet but I also cannot recommend Jon Krakaeur highly enough. The book on Pat Tillman is utterly fascinating and you'll absolutely learn more about him than you'd ever imagine. Into Thin Air, which is about one of the deadliest days on Mt. Everest, is one of the most gripping page turners I've ever read. Great author. You'll be better off having read a couple of his books.
Loved how ever media made such a big deal over the first game of the year for the packers. They were horrible. But would like to struggle early then later

@Dylan Russell There are no good reasons why they should not be good. So long as they turn up to play. In the context of the game we just saw, tell me which players you think had a good game? It was the feel of the game, the on field attitude of the players. They were not a pack, they were a rabble on both sides of the ball. One game is never a large enough sample size to consider writing a team off. That being said they gave us exactly zero evidence to support any arguement that they will be good this year. We can only assume that a team that was so good last year will be good this year too. Rodgers and the pack are certainly entitled to a couple of mulligans given their on paper quality. None of that changes that they looked like a bottom 5 team this week.

I love the fact that a punter turned RUclipsr has a show that started with him, a couple microphones, and some buddies in a room with a 5 dollar wrestling cutout in the background… and he gets 30 minutes every week with the NFL’s most mysterious quarterback and places like ESPN and FS1 get nothing. That makes me genuinely so happy. It goes to show that meritocracy is still alive. I love this show.
I love that the market is going towards this style of in depth game analysis but while also talking to each other like you would in the locker room. The manning thing was awesome too. Please more of this kind of content and less Stephen A

I love the fact that a punter turned RUclipsr has a show that started with him, a couple microphones, and some buddies in a room with a 5 dollar wrestling cutout in the background… and he gets 30 minutes every week with the NFL’s most mysterious quarterback and places like ESPN and FS1 get nothing. That makes me genuinely so happy. It goes to show that meritocracy is still alive. I love this show.
