It's always nice to see a Steiger on wheels on here. It's funny to think that not that long ago, a tractor this size would be considered a real beast and now it is just middle of the road as far as big 4WD's go.
We plant our wheat with a 40 foot case 500 t airseeder and a case 500 afs connect rowtrac with 20inch tracks . We tend to plant wheat after soybeans but we do plant some after corn . This year we are planting alot more of our wheat after corn than normal because of rain soybean harvest has been slowed down significantly and our window for planting wheat is ending soon but we also are doing vertical tillage first to cut the stalks up before the airseeder runs across them. I just finished planting 30 acres after the beans got tough tonight. We should get roughly 1800 acres of wheat seeded this year. Great video keep up the good work !
It’s nice to see the channel feature more no-till, in many ways clean tillage the past of agriculture especially on highly erosion land. Thanks for the video.
I'm surprised that Garnett Farms don't do "no till" with their wheat? Would save money, fuel and labor. Just shows how different Farms really are. Awesome video Jason👍.
You have to be a computer expert to farm these days. Good question about the exhaust, I remember commenting on a previous video of yours about how annoying it looks. I was a heavy equipment operator most of my life and just seen the DEF crap coming in the last 6 years of my career. I ran a 750 JD dozer in 2015 but luckily it had a different setup without the DEF crap. Nice video.
We had the same problem with the boots plugging. Our case dealer had to install a heavier spring that keeps it held against the scraper. That has fixed the problem for us.
There are a couple. Because they are not powered have the tread in the opposite direction as the tractor tires helps back the implement out of the mud if it gets stuck. It helps reduce wear in transit. Grain carts are set up this way too.
Those Case cart fans are obnoxious compared to Morris and Bourgault , none of them are quiet but there's a difference between a high whine and a screeech.

There is nothing better than a BTP video showing Steiger tractors!
I really enjoy when the operator shares his thoughts. Great video as always.
Thank you for a great channel Jason!!! Love every second of it

Bigtractorpower greetings from burley idaho
That is a nice setup👍👍 no till is an interesting method😉👍
Great video👍
anther good video keep them coming,
What is the differance between the Case IH steiger quadtrac AFS and the Case IH steiger quadtrac wide frame? I googled and can't find a clear answer

Hello! Not too wide drill, but the fast pace does the job.
That cabin looks as big as a Versatile tractor
You're right btp the muffler is horrible on a really nice looking tractor 🚜, great video as always btp... 👍👍

I know Deere has hydra cushion for it’s 4wd tractors. Does case use a similar design.
NW Ohio here. No one has ever seeded wheat in corn stalks in our area. Corn comes off too late.

You don’t have to be a computer expert. I’m not computer savvy at all and I get along great. It’s very easy to use.
DEF crap? What, you’d rather pollute than simply dump in some liquid when you fill with fuel?
@@gregjames5070 I bet that you don't even farm.
We can’t wait to see our 500T go if it’s not software problems it’s plugging the seed boots

We had some problems with the drill plugging as well. The heavier springs fixed 99% of the plugging issues.
👍👍
Thank you Alex.
Is there any reason the tires on the seed cart are on "backwards"?
P.S. love the videos keep em comin.

First time ive seen a3 wheeled air cart
It has 4 wheel on the carts. The two on the front are just smaller close together.
Always tell the opener spacing when describing a drill or air seeder.
That is a good detail. I will make sure to do that. I think these are 7.5.
cant imagine the price tag and upkeep on that
If a person were used to farming with an 806....me, this rig might take a little thought just to get it to move.
Big price tag big production with less inputs. It all evens out.

43K for the CVX trans? Yikes.
Strip till, No till...🧐 I m looking forward for No-Sow sowing technology
ok
That muffler is about the size of a Prius.
✌️🇧🇷✌️
💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍✌✌
Thank you for watching.
Every time, interesting again, that seeding is possible without plowing. We do not use a system like this, and i still wont imagine that it works...
my dad does all no till on northeast ohio, works out just fine for our system
Still won’t imagine it work? Millions of acre are no tilled across the US with great success. What is there not to believe? Pull your head out 1920.
Was it a must to fly the USA flag ?? 😂
