This encounter went from most difficult fight in the game to "how can I beat this guy without even touching him" lol. I have seem some crazy builds and strategies for this fight.
Two shots was quite easy, the hardest part was the management of Hope and the rest of the group, the game didn't want me to solo this fight, if i put them too far the fight can't be initiated, but finally i got it : keep them invisible near door, reapply turn based mode two times and cross finger they don't get caught in aoe. I thought Raphael resisted the crawler mucus paralysis thanks to his two save rolls (and he only needed to roll 12+ to pass) so i needed executioner after luck of the far realms, but he actually didn't resist (i had 100% hit chance on 2nd hit), then i fucked up by not upcasting smite to level 3, not a big deal, he got two shot anyway. Crawler mucus allows to paralyze one or two ennemies, since the Vengeful Cambion need to roll 18+ to hit, i prefer to put some control on them.
Please Can toi tell me tree things - how Come your fiesta Site attack Can deal UP to 100damages ? - why does Raphaël not replicate the radiant damages ? - how Can toi get 75% of chances to actually land perilous stakes ?
I didn't use it against Ketheric, Cazador and Ansur then i saw everybody was using it for solo unfair and it was 1 month after release, still not fixed after 2-3 months. In the end it doesn't change much BG3 Bosses are incredibly easy to solo with a little preparation.
@@fgpraxis4463 it's been fixed now, as of Patch 4 from Nov 2023. So if you're up-to-date on patches, the Shriek debuff or Sing buff disappears when you unequip Phalar Aluve on all difficulty settings.
@@danieltromley3274can’t really call something a bad take when it’s referring to something subjective as music. That’s just a projection of major insecurity. I love the track, but I can also see why it’s not to others taste. Since I didn’t compose the music I have zero idea why I would need to get b utt hurt that someone didn’t like it.
Imagine calling someone insecure on a youtube comment who typed a quarter of what you did. Thats wild. Especially if thats you in that avatar gyatt DAMN would i be insecure too. @@bigshirley8658

Having the Singing Sword buff active when not being wielded is just dumb programming

Its amazing though? The setting is supposed to be like this. Bad take is bad.
