I was in the Lehi HS marching band and was present at this moment. We were SOOO happy to see Davis win this. Davis was definitely the fan favorite. I still remember this magical moment 12 years later, even though I wasn't in the Davis marching band.
This reminds me of the University of Utah competition my Senior year (2002); where AF won all awards but Musical Preformance; and we ended up beating them.
