great video! crazy high prices unfortunatley, I sold a santa cruz skateboard for 399, bought that for 3 euro. I would never pay 140 for a skateboard. I have paid 140 for a vintage star wars yak face loose figure and selling it for 500$ several times. Today i sold two tennis rackets for 79 euro, a babolat and a wilson through vinted, no fees. Costs me 4 euro. Those are more the deals i like, but you have to be a bit of an expert with tennis rackets. Today I found the first vintage Schleich Peyo Smurf Big house 99% complete, including figures and the very rare door key! That should sell for 50 to 80 hopefully, and my oldest daughter gets to play with it first! Hopefully the skateboard sells high for you guys! Cheers, jorit
I know it's a little late but I appreciate the comment. It's interesting to hear what other people are buying! The skateboard was definitely a gamble. I was hoping it would potentially be in the £500 region but it sold sometime last year for around £300 if I remember correctly. So still a profit but not our best buy 🤑
Thanks Steve! Always trying to find interesting things 💎 This particular cat boot is practically 95% dealers both buying and selling. It's proper hand bags at dawn and elbows out 😂
Missed your guys content.always great to see the notification of a new vid pop up.shame on the lamp but you done well there regardless with the other items
Thank you, really appreciate it 🙏🏻 Always gut wrenching knowing what could have been! But we can't think like that as I'm sure we all pass up good items without realising 🤷🏻♂️💚
Thank you 🙏🏻 The skateboard is really cool, we had our first offer on it couple days ago... £270, we went back £350 they counter £280 we said best £300 and they declined 😒 But we're holding out hope 🤞🏻💚
We appreciate you reaching out! It's nice to know people still thinking of us haha! We hope to come back, but you're correct, we are juggling lots at the moment. One day we'll be back! 🙏🏻💚
Quality video as always guys ! I always take more than i need too ! . As you mentioned Jack just never know that an item is there that you wanted to purchase would be painful having to walk away . Bumbag too speeds up getting money out . 😊 Picked up 3 vintage football shirts couple weeks ago £15 for the 3 one 1995 two are early 2000s . Hundreds went in before me couldn't believe they were missed 😱
@@GlobalThrifters Always enjoy seeing what you pick up or are looking at the bartering too i like to watch and learn take tips 💚 Sold 2 £80 Sheff Wed and £40 Chelsea Barca still listed at £40 with offers has a lot of piling had to price acordially 👍.
Hey, Hope you don't feel too gutted about the light. We chatted about lighting on insta a little while back, I love to pick up lighting. Have a few good ones atm. I have made it a rule not to research items I don't pick up as I just can't bare that feeling of missing out. Don't torture yourself. I hope you get the return on the board. Great channel, beaute family❤😊
Thank you so much, really appreciate it 🙏🏻 It's one of those hard pills to swallow but personally I always have to check things if I have a feeling after, would rather learn from the mistake and hope to not make it again 🤞🏻 Lighting is and always will be one of our favourites 😍 Hope you're keeping well 💚
Unfortunately it was sold that day, another dealer would have snapped it up likely quite quickly. But it's a learning curve! As we say, if we stop learning we'll stop earning! 🤑💚
@@paulwickens2758 Still reselling just don't have time to make content at the moment. Busy finding a work / family life balance. Never say never though as we may be back one day. Appreciate you reaching out 💚
The fact that the bloke with the cat in the hat mugs glued the handle back on to resell and most likely not even tell buyers says alot about what traders are like at car boots
You're not far off there! It's sort of classed as a "antique car boot" With mostly dealers selling to dealers. Also a lot of the time dealers are clearing their stock from a recent antique fair so the pieces are slashed but still higher than your average car boot. We enjoy it but still like your traditional Sunday car boot with families selling etc.
It had injectors problems... Shock 🤦♂️😂 But we had spoke about upgrading to a family vehicle with room for work as well and this truck came up for sale locally. Can squeeze a surprisingly good amount in the back 🙏🏻
@Global Thrifters Haha, the vauxhalls are known for injectors yeah! I have a transit and have all the rust going!! Good to know though with the pick ups, I like them 👍
Where is this car boot sale Harrods Very expensive car boot Can not believe the prices Should come to Doncaster carboot You would get Some real bargains not then prices there ridiculous
You're not wrong there! 😅 It's basically an "antique market car boot" Mainly all trade selling to trade, but can sometimes find a bargain. If we're ever in the Doncaster area, we'll definitely check some car boots out 👌🏻
U still reselling?

Where have you guys gone? Hope you both are ok.
Thinking the same, their last sale was 17/02/24 and they now have no items in their store.
Good video Jack, love the stuff you pick up, very eclectic selection! Definitely alot more dealers at your car boots than ours around here!

Yeah it's a love hate relationship at that car boot 😂 Usually good stuff but prices are always high 🔥

@@lynnhunt1031 Indeed, always hectic there 😂
Your carboot looks fab....looks like more dealers and houseclearances than here
Yeah it can be good. It's like an expensive car boot but cheap antique fair
Go back to the same car boot sale next week and you never know, that Guinness lamp could still be for sale.

Yes very true. Can't say I'm surprised though. The funny thing was I had just spoken to him about the glue he was selling! 😂
Buyer Beware......
You just won’t find them cups, apart from the other box he’s got in his hand. 😂😂
I'm so glad someone else noticed that 😂 Couldn't have been better timing 😅
This isn't a bootsale it's an antique fair it's far too expensive

Yes to spending up at a carboot. If you don't take it you are certain to come accross an item you can't afford.
Exactly Sean! Would rather take it and not need it than need it and not have taken it!
Spot on 👍
What happened to the Van? Bit less space in the pick up, does the job though, all's good 👍 🚗
