You should purchase a set of bamboo utensils for you bag. I got mine off of amazon for like $10 and it includes a knife, fork, spoon and chopsticks and is in a little pouch. I keep mine in my purse cause I always forget utensils. Plus it is good for the environment vs plastic ones
I picked up a set on a trip last year and threw them in my bag last minute for a trip last week... ended up relying on them for several meals. I love when that happens🥰
Great food choices! In the "olden days" we would eat the disgusting crew meals or left over cabin meals. Airport food back then wasn't that great either, so we would wait to eat on the layover at our favorite places. What fun we had! I hope you are keeping a journal so you can look back.
Yay, I clicked on this video so fast. I've been enjoying all of your videos. I purchased my travel cubes because of watching two of you're other videos lol! Tfs
I would love to see a pic of you with all your bags as you are walking out the door! Just found your videos and love them- and love that you are an admitted hoarder- me too! You are so super organized and an inspiration to all!💞
i do weight watchers too and im working on becoming a flight attendant now so im glad you told me you write your points on the outside, thats a great idea im going to use thanks.
I thoroughly loved this video! It feels like I'm watching one of my close friends show me something so neat and helpful! Your sweet spirit is a joy to watch! And I love the idea of utilizing a cooler like this, because I am adamant about eating healthy, natural, organic, non gmo foods- which usually means making everything fresh at home! It's so helpful to know that a cooler like this would be useful for taking on family vacations and such! Thanks for sharing! Have a lovely weekend! 💗
Aww Carrie this popped up on my home page, (not sure why lol because I’ve been subscribed since back then lol) but I remember these days!! 😀 It’s when I first stumbled upon your channel & you were the first flight attendant I subscribed to! I thought how cool as I love to fly & travel & my husband travels a ton for business! 😊 It’s been a joy & honor to follow along your journey all these years & meeting your sweet mama in your videos too 🥰
I love this so much! I want to become a flight attendant within the next year and I have IBS, so my biggest worry is being able to keep up with my demanding diet and it not cause more stress than necessary.
I over pack my bag too, and I am only going in for a 10 hour shift. Better to be prepared, then to regret a bad food decision. Sistema makes a nice cutlery set (knief, fork, spoon, and chopsticks) that is very compact. Over time it saves a ton of money, not having to buy plastic cultery and will save you space in your bag. Not to mention, you won't have to remember to refill your utensils.
I just found one of these bags someone threw away and i am a bag person. Although i figured it was a cooler snack bag. Im going to use mine for a small tech bag. Its a perfect size for me. I already took the liner out and strap off and stored them in the side pockets. I use tech regulary and im always on the go so its perfect for my chargers, Switch, Tablet, Headphones and airpods. Also my old Ipod classic to and other tech essentials and personal things i might use regularly.
I'm a flight attendant with that same lunchbox. If you over pack it, the pvc liner inside will start to tear at the corner and won't keep your food cold for as long. There's a 'warning' on the actual eBags site about it. They'll send you another if it does rip, but it takes a while
Love the video, Just purchased this bag for my cross country drive to see my brand new granddaughter. I have the smaller one, but decided to get the bigger one for the road trip.
I bought that miniature skillet thing off Amazon too years ago. I love it! I got my mom one too and she said it makes the perfect egg. I bought it to toast bagels LOL. I just wish it was dual voltage.
I decided to watch old videos because I love your content. This hotel looks like the element in Fargo lol I was like omg that’s so cool! Element is my fave hotel when I’m in Fargo. It’s a 3 hour drive from bismark.
so...flight attendants can bring liquids, fluids, gels of any volume on board an airplane? I have tons of food issues and was hoping to get tips for bringing my food on board as a passenger. I've never even been able to bring a frozen gel pack through security...
Maybe try a packit brand lunch box? They are made with the freeze gel already inside of the lining so you just freeze the lunch box and then pack it with the things you need. No need to put a gel pack in it.
I work at the airport in the UK and she wont be able bring half of this stuff through (even though she is a crew).... So I am wondering how she can bring it? And what abt the sciccors??
Great video!! I need one of those coolers. And that mini grill!! 😍 One of the more recent things I've been packing for trips is a Crockpot Mini Lunch Warmer. It is a lifesaver. Especially when you get sick of not eating hot meals on layovers. I bring leftovers, or heat up wraps. I may have earned the name Crockpot Girl, but hey, I embrace it...and the extra money I save for drinks out with the crew :)
I'm in Canada, not sure if you can get "clover leaf" products in USA but they have a fantastic line of single serve flavored canned tuna that is great for traveling, which means you can skip the mayo. They also have a hummus version that's pretty good too. I also keep organic oatmeal packets and eat it in the hotel room with a little trail mix for early morning starts. There is also no butter microwave popcorn options, and with a sprinkle of nutritional yeast (which you can get in health food stores), tastes just like cheesy popcorn. Hemp hearts and ground flax are a couple other items I love in yogurt, hemp is very high in protein and (ground flax, because your body absorbs it better) flax is high in omega 3. Dark chocolate is high in iron and great when craving sweets. Also candied ginger is great for combating viruses and flu, it has anti inflammatory properties and helps with nausea. Love your hard boiled egg idea, I'm definitely going to try this!
I have luggage sleeves or covers to protect my luggage. Maybe they make a cooler size you could buy or make to cover your bag. It would be unique and easily identifable.
Try doing half greek yogurt half mayo in your egg salad and tuna salad. Makes it really creamy without having to have all that fat. That tip has been saving me sonce I like my tuna salad with a lot of dressing. 😊
I would love to have that cooler. It looks so professional and fits my perception of organization and portrays pride for what you do. Good food choices. Don't stress about your weight. I'm thin, too, and my weight goes up and down but I'm sure you job keeps you in shape. You're beautiful! Great job!
I found your video accidently. But I watched it because I love organization and efficiency when packing. I would like to know where you got the little containers for your ranch and salsa. Thanks! Have a great day!
Thanks for sharing. I have been wondering about how to pack food when flying rather than driving. So we can bring through security anything that you have shown here that you have in your flight attendant bag? I'm surprised that pudding/yogurt is allowed through security.
Hi Carrie Ann! Thanks for posting this. It's very helpful for those of us who frequently travel. Maybe you could tie a nice scarf on your bag so that you know it is yours.
When I see flight attendants like you I always think I'm the messiest\unorganised flight attendant out there✋! And excuse me ?! YOU HAVE A KITCHEN IN YOUR ROOM WHAT THE HELL 😂Love from Dubai 💕✈️
I love your videos. Your organization tips are so helpful -- thank you! Also you are so pretty - you really don't need all that blush & make up. Let your natural beauty shine through a bit more!
Love the video. What's that the name and brand of your cute mini cooker you used for your egg whites? I've been a FA for 43yrs and eating healthy isn't easy for long trips because good healthy food isn't always available. Bringing your own food is key. Bring enough food, keeping it fresh n organizing it all has been my challenge. But girl, you got it down. I learned some great tips so thank you for this video. Happy and safe flying.
hi carrie,im a truck driver in elk grove village.drive to Rockford everyday I use the roadpro electric cooler and the hot logic mini. ill try the dash minigrill…...thanks
I just started watching you today and I love you and your vids already, you are so pretty and such an inspiration! You look like such an amazing flight attendant! Love you, Carrie Ann!
Carrie Ann, i was wondering when you stay in a hotel whether their are any grocery store's near by and whether the hotel has a shuttle you can use to get back and forth?
Loved this video. As a new FA, I’m trying to figure out food. I brought the large cooler from TravelPro - very similar to what you have. Where did you find the small containers for the egg whites and salsa?
New sub here. This is so interesting. I'm not a flight attendant but for some reason I find this so cool to watch. It's always better to have lots of options.
I just flew to Israel and back to Miami and how does a traveler take food on a plane??? Or is this just mainly for flight attendants??? I am just shocked at the amount of food you pack. Do all flight attendants pack this much food???
That bag rocks! Can you do a FA make-up tutorial? I am hopeless with make-up and your make-up looks amazing! Also what watch do you have? Are you a FA for United? xo
How do you get through security with cutlery, a pair of scissors, ice packs or even fruit? When I was flying out of YVR they made me throw my fruit out at security and wouldn't allow any sharp objects like cutlery and wouldn't allow ice packs either!
Kristina Zielinski crew members have different rules than regular passengers. And in canada we just have to report what foods we have and they will tell us what foods we cant bring in
Hey Carrie! I can't believe how much you fit in there! How do you keep it cold once the ice packs have thawed and you've left the hotel? Thanks for sharing your tips & tricks😄❤️✈️👍🏼
Susan Brown I know right it fits a ton! Usually the hotels have fridges so I put my food in there and re freeze the ice packs. If they don't I triple back ice and keep it in there
Maybe if I traveled for a living, I would pack more food, but logically, as an occasional traveler (I fly about three or four times per year) I can't see filling a whole carry-on with food. With some perishables, traveling to different countries, I would have to throw it out before going through passport control/inspection. Also, the stuff can get heavy lugging it through airports, plus I wouldn't have room for anything else. Anyway, good video.
You should purchase a set of bamboo utensils for you bag. I got mine off of amazon for like $10 and it includes a knife, fork, spoon and chopsticks and is in a little pouch. I keep mine in my purse cause I always forget utensils. Plus it is good for the environment vs plastic ones

oh my gosh thats so funny I bet it saved money eating those though!
Your organisation skills are just life! My FA bags will look like this some day! haha love your channel girl
Jess Mulligan awww thank you!

Maia Bonnici thank you!

I love your video, Greetings from Ecuador
Put a very bright decorative key chain on the handle of you ebag, to set it apart from the others.
Yay, I clicked on this video so fast. I've been enjoying all of your videos. I purchased my travel cubes because of watching two of you're other videos lol! Tfs
TamiCoCo ahaha that's awesome thank you so much !
Carrie DeJong-Brown me too..

Writing the WW points on your food items is genius. I would never have thought of that. Thanks for sharing
I'd just keep this in my room and I'd be set for life 😂😂
I would love to see a pic of you with all your bags as you are walking out the door! Just found your videos and love them- and love that you are an admitted hoarder- me too!
You are so super organized and an inspiration to all!💞
It's like you have your own mini portable kitchen in there. Love it!
Omg!!! You are amazing ! I complain about staying in my points target and I'm at home all day. I am going to get my life together no more excuses
Claire Chaney thank you so much! Sometimes it's so hard to do lol you got this girl!
i do weight watchers too and im working on becoming a flight attendant now so im glad you told me you write your points on the outside, thats a great idea im going to use thanks.
How weight watchers and points works?
Do you have the option of buying airplane food at a staff discount? Seems that is more convenient
loved the video! i would love to see a travel diary of what you do while not working.
Lace Elaina ya of course !!! Thank you!
Great video. Much props to you and all the flight attendants. Keep up the great vlogs!
Great video. Starting a new traveling job and that bag is perfect for what need!! Thanks!!
I thoroughly loved this video! It feels like I'm watching one of my close friends show me something so neat and helpful! Your sweet spirit is a joy to watch! Learning curves so when I become a flight attendant one day! :) I own an Ebag cooler like this! I love it!!!
I love this so much! I want to become a flight attendant within the next year and I have IBS, so my biggest worry is being able to keep up with my demanding diet and it not cause more stress than necessary.

The Special K Strawberry Pastry Crisps ARE TO DIE FOR!!!!

BreeThings409 lol I love my snacks
I am definitely getting that mini skillet for my college dorm ( when I go in 6 Year’s )
I'm a flight attendant with that same lunchbox. If you over pack it, the pvc liner inside will start to tear at the corner and won't keep your food cold for as long. There's a 'warning' on the actual eBags site about it. They'll send you another if it does rip, but it takes a while

SweetSmilinSteph I would assume if it was for medical reasons they would allow it?
Nicole N nope. Not even for medical reasons. It sucks.
Maybe try a packit brand lunch box? They are made with the freeze gel already inside of the lining so you just freeze the lunch box and then pack it with the things you need. No need to put a gel pack in it.
Well i suppose flight attendants would have to go for a bunch of police screenings and stuff before being hired
I work at the airport in the UK and she wont be able bring half of this stuff through (even though she is a crew).... So I am wondering how she can bring it? And what abt the sciccors??
Wow that's pretty organized! My diet is different but you've given me some great ideas for packing my work food.
your ponytail!!! love!!
thanks !
Really enjoyed your video on prepping your meal bag for a trip.
Great video!! I need one of those coolers. And that mini grill!! 😍

I bought my hubby the ebag lunchbox and he loves it! Thanks Carrie! ❤️
so helpful for frequent travelers!! thank you so much for posting and sharing such great solutions/tips!
So they really allow you on the plane with all this stuff? And do they allow you to carry fruits overseas?
Hi. Where did you get the two silicon condiment containers?
I found your video accidently. But I watched it because I love organization and efficiency when packing. I would like to know where you got the little containers for your ranch and salsa. Thanks! Have a great day!
Ann thanks for showing this bag it's really good I'll surely buy them
Thanks for sharing. I have been wondering about how to pack food when flying rather than driving. So we can bring through security anything that you have shown here that you have in your flight attendant bag? I'm surprised that pudding/yogurt is allowed through security.
I love that u pack actual tasty food
You could Try swapping out mayo with avocado for tuna and egg salad. It's a much healthier option and so yummy.
I want to know how you do that hair do. Loving it!!
Great vlog! From one flight attendant to another, thank you! Darla
MJ xoxo ahaha I know it's the best hotel they should always have kitchens in the hotels for us flight attendants ! ❤️
I’m 11 and the only hotel I’ve stayed in was across from the White House and it had a coffee station but no kitchen

I love your videos. Your organization tips are so helpful -- thank you! Also you are so pretty - you really don't need all that blush & make up. Let your natural beauty shine through a bit more!

Where did you get your veggie straws and baked cheddar chips from?
You were on my flight and you were awesome
oh my gosh no way! That's so cool thank you!
Lol
OMG I never take that much stuff. Just a few little snacks for middle of the night. The best thing about traveling is eating in other countries!!
Get single serving condiment packs for the mayo salt and others. They will save you even more space
I love that you pack your own food, awesome video!
hi carrie,im a truck driver in elk grove village.drive to Rockford everyday I use the roadpro electric cooler and the hot logic mini. ill try the dash minigrill…...thanks

I noticed you're using a camera but it's being shown on your iPhone. Is that an app?
Loved this video. As a new FA, I’m trying to figure out food. I brought the large cooler from TravelPro - very similar to what you have. Where did you find the small containers for the egg whites and salsa?
I love how in the video she starts out with pyjamas then goes into her uniform then back into pyjamas then back into uniform again ahahah
New sub here. This is so interesting. I'm not a flight attendant but for some reason I find this so cool to watch. It's always better to have lots of options.
thank you so much I totally agree the more options the better for me!
I too always have Tobasco Chipotle with me as well!!! So so good!
it's the best!
I just flew to Israel and back to Miami and how does a traveler take food on a plane??? Or is this just mainly for flight attendants??? I am just shocked at the amount of food you pack. Do all flight attendants pack this much food???
Alice Adler it’s 3 or 4 days worth of food
I love Carrie Ann's videos. My favorite reason is she seems to overpack which I appreciate as an overpacker lol.
Do they give you food oñ the plane?
Hi. Can you please tell me what the introduction song is? Thank you.
Nice bag organization😃😎 wow I thought it wasn't so much food until I saw after the apple, lol yet so thin & cute😍😜😀😘
Carrie, just came across your video, this is great because I am plant base and its really hard to find things that I can eat. Great video.
You are so organized!! I love it--you're adorable! :)
dappled willow aww thank you so
Muchn
dappled willow thank you so much!
love your cooler bag. i have one just like it in the closet!
Really cool. You're a good packer and responsible eater!
This video is awesome. Super helpful for flight attendants. ♥️
That bag rocks! Can you do a FA make-up tutorial? I am hopeless with make-up and your make-up looks amazing! Also what watch do you have? Are you a FA for United? xo
Kristin Anderson thank you so much! I have an Apple Watch I love it
That nice bag
How do you get through security with cutlery, a pair of scissors, ice packs or even fruit? When I was flying out of YVR they made me throw my fruit out at security and wouldn't allow any sharp objects like cutlery and wouldn't allow ice packs either!

are you allowed tattoos and acrylic nails in your career? im from australia so it might be different though..
wow it must be very cool to be a flight attendand u probably get to fly everwhere
Hi just ask your views on the 6 pack fitness bags? All Your food and equipment could fit in it.
the 6 pack fitness bag? Never heard of it.
Carrie Ann it's a meal preap bags for those who gym always and on a strict diet. Google it
TunNazurah oh I see ya I'll have to look it up!
What song is this introduction to the video?
Maybe if I traveled for a living, I would pack more food, but logically, as an occasional traveler (I fly about three or four times per year) I can't see filling a whole carry-on with food. With some perishables, traveling to different countries, I would have to throw it out before going through passport control/inspection. Also, the stuff can get heavy lugging it through airports, plus I wouldn't have room for anything else. Anyway, good video.
isn't allot of that stuff restricted for regular passengers? is it legal for me to pack a carry on food cooler as a regular passenger?
Do the hotels they put you up in always look this nice?!
Your cool crew bag is nicely stocked!
The only thing that might be missing...Vitamins and supplements. Other than that, you're good to go!
Skye525 lol ya I probably need some vitamins good idea
You should shell the hard boiled eggs before storing them
Tip: buy baby wipes instead of napkins because they clean better and they don’t fall all around your cooler bag!
I have a dumb Questions please answer it!!
How tall do you have to be a flight attendant?
Do you still get to travel at the same airport you work at?
5’3 and up for height
Each airline is different for that. I'm 5 foot 2 so I wouldn't be allowed to fly for most carriers :(
A very nice video! I had no idea A Model was Flying the World above me!!
can you take frozen blocks on an airplane?
