At last I found someone who can explain Autocad without any complications. Straight to the point. I have tried to follow Skillshare courses, ask Autocad help forum and various RUclipsrs and there are always something that make it too complicated in their lessons. Thank you so much for your help ❤️
I came across this video searching for a solution to a new problem that just started today. AutoCAD LT 2023, Windows 10. When I click on Mtext, with an autocad font (RomanS in this case - our default at work), it shows the grips of the text box, but the text itself gets tiny blue dots on every vertex/segment end within every character. Those dots do not scale up or down when zooming. So if I'm zoomed way out, the text just looks like blue fuzz. If I zoom way in, they are nearly invisible. I've never seen it before and no one I work with has a clue - and I apparently am not typing in the right search terms on Autodesk's website because I never get anything relating to the subject. If I turn hardware acceleration off, the text shows up as dotted lines intead of the blue vertex dots. I think (my brain may be playing tricks on me) it used to highlight with the 'glow' with H.A. on - and truetype fonts like Arial still do this. Anyone got an idea of what's going on? I'd appreciate any suggestions.
Damn it! Brandon's so good I felt sure the answer to my problem would be in here. it wasn't. When you select objects to delete they go grey, prior to you confirming you want to delete them. Lately, mine go so dark I can hardly see them (I work with a black background). Is there a SETVAR for selected object colour or brightness?
Good question! I'm not sure on that specific color setting but it is likely customizable somewhere! Maybe in the options window under colors possibly or a deeper setting/setvar under selection Sorry don't know that one off the top of my head!! Do you have videos on using Orthogen? The majority of the time in my job we don't need elevation/plan views of new piping. But in case we do I'd like to utilize that function of orthogen but never used it.
Thanks for the video. I have a question. When you create a 3D solid in AutoCAD and you wanted to create another sketch on 1 of the solids surfaces it will highlight the surface blue when your cursor is over it, that is when you have a drawing command active. How can you turn that highlighting off and on and also what is that called?
Hi. I had that highlight before i restore my computer, and after i instal my autocad again, i dont know why, but my highlight doesn't work as suposed to do... I have that blue color in the options as default, but when i sellect something, the color of the highlight is grey and for exemple, when i sellect some continous lines, they turn into a dashed line... Can you help me? Thank you very much! Keep with the nice content about autocad! :)
