    I love listening while you reveal your decks. I am 60 yrs old but I am wanting to start learning this for relaxation. I crochet, but I am drawn to card reading. Thank you

    Hi Elle, I've been away from RUclips for a month or so and while I am probably one of your unlikeliest fans, I have learned an immense amount from you and I have to say as a former TV broadcast professional, you are a natural on camera. That is so rare; you really have excellent screen presence and also just such a great ability as a teacher. So I was delighted to see when I checked on a lark that you're in new surroundings (wow what an amazing place to live!) after being away for a while and producing these excellent videos. Your Fortune Telling Decks series is just really good; in all my research I have never heard of Sibella decks, and I am amazed at these images and this altogether separate branch of divination tools. These decks are superb, and make me want to learn Italian. This is a really outstanding series; thanks for taking the time. I am amazed by your notebook...just wow, looking at those pages. Admiring your commitment and scholarship. Best wishes.

    I’m Italian and I’m willing to learn to read Le Sibille cards, but I’m indecisive about the deck. You helped me with your flip through, thanks!

    Elle--so glad you are doing videos again. I hope all is well.🌼 What I missed about your videos, is your relaxed manner and scholarship. I forget my troubles and can focus on learning!🌻

    Omgracious, you're back! Lovely to see you again and I hope your move went well.
    I love your videos! Ironic how such a young lady loves the older decks. I find your highly intellectual take on the dreamy, ethereal tarot intoxicating. I Also love your passion and enthusiasm. I would love to know more about your educational background. You were born to teach and to lecture on the tarot. RUclips is a stepping stone to a much bigger audience for you, in my opinion.
    Personally, I have yet to make it through an entire book on the tarot, though I continue to purchase them. However, I now find myself relating daily life experiences to specific tarot cards - they now automatically pop into my mind. I love that. I also wanted to share that I have found a deck that "speaks to me," the Raven's Prophecy tarot. I did my personal walk through of the deck and found it so very cheeky, yet powerful. BEST VII Swords card EVER and a bold and beefy Strength card for those who have remained too passive for too long...
    Anyway, it's truly lovely to see you back. Thank you Elle, as well as all of the very generous, lovely people around the world who freely share their tarot knowledge on RUclips 👍. Watching with appreciation and wishing you and your family well 🙏.

    Gorgeous decks, I just got my first Sybila (de la Zingara). I love Lenormands as well.

    OMG, I am going to have a nervous breakdown. I had no idea the Oracolo Della Sibilla even existed. It is gorgeous. Tavaglione's Tarocchi delle Stelle (Tarot of the Stars) is one of my favourite decks ever and the Sibilla looks so similar to it. I must get it. Thank you for this video. You just made my day. I am literally beside myself right now.

    I just got this deck a couple weeks ago. I also got a book to go with it Gypsy Oracle Cards Handbook by M. Jacqueline Murray. I love your idea of writing the playing card associations on the cards. I copied your idea and just did that this evening. Thanks for the idea.

    Woohoo! I have so many of these decks in common with you, but I only use and read my tarot. I have no idea what to do with my sibilla, lenormand, and fortune telling decks. Watching now :)

    The “lottery numbers” at the bottom of the oracle cards don’t have to be lottery numbers. I treat them as I-Ching hexagrams or as combinations of major arcana. So: 67 is the lovers and the chariot or 63 is “Before Completion” just a little tip, love. ❤️

    I kept hearing you throw out the number 36 and hoping you'd talk about decanates! So glad you got a chance to touch on them with that Sibilla. If I ever made an oracle deck I'd go with 36 cards, because it's just such a perfect number. A perfect triangle just like the Tarot, plus a perfect square. I just love digging into every decanate in my natal chart and making a ton of associations.

    • @sacredseed1295
      @sacredseed1295  7 лет назад +2

      Chrome166 ahh yes me too! there's so many interesting associations to be made there! I even love the idea of 32 card decks being like geomantic decks. the number of cards in a deck is in itself an awesome thing to look deeper into! thanks so much for watching my friend xo

    There is "order" in what we *think* is "chaos". While I, personally, don't use tarot cards, and shy away from magic, there is no denying its existence, and therefore, its uses.

  • @StellaWaldvogel

    Lenormand is based on playing cards, but it's Alemannic cartomancy. So you get Clubs rather than Spades as the trouble suit.
    Sibilla is technically a deck with PC insets. So Lenormand is a Sibilla, but nobody thinks of it as one. It's taken on such a life of its own.

    This video would be a thumbs up for me if you put the cards on the table and shuffled them consistently while describing them instead of holding them up, which cuts off the image. Also, it causes Tarot and Sibilla junkies like me anxiety when people hold a deck and don’t show us the cards WHILE they talk. I appreciate your enthusiasm, though!

    Hi Elle! Nice to see a video from you! I've been looking for the video you did on the Fool's Journey, but I can't seem to find it. Do you still have that video? Are you making more of those series? Thank you how many blessings 💕🐦

    • @sacredseed1295
      @sacredseed1295  7 лет назад +1

      Maha's Treasure box thanks! hmm I'm not sure which video u might be thinking of... I haven't taken anything down so it must still be there somewhere. I have a video called "tarot evolution- the fool," it's not necessarily about the fools journey tho.

      Sacred Seed hmmm maybe I'm confusing the title. I'll check again. Thank you! XOXO

    And yes, EXACTLY. They function like the Minors (though the meanings aren't identical, obviously.)
    An Italian Sibilla or Grand Jeu Lenormand with a side of Wirth does it all. ;)
