Reaching out for some help. Sometimes when creating a design by tracing a bit map, it creates a path (or section of a path) that does not complete the fill. It will stitch out the outline and underlay, but not the the over lying fill. I have messed with the Params a little, and I still can't get it to work. Any ideas on how to remedy this problem would be very helpful.

I cannot use the inkstitch DST file result at my machine Butterfly JX550L-W, i try by simple design only cirle or square My machine Become freeze and wont open the usb stick. On the otherside, my machine working properly using Wilcom or Hatch dst file
I was just previewing some dst and exp files created in inkstitch and I noticed the colors are not the same as the original file. Is that the way it should be?

Most likely you still have errors in your file. Only happy files like to be saved. Try running Menu-->Extensions-->Ink/Stitch--> Troubleshooting, clear the shown errors till no errors are left. Then save should work. Saving by the "save as" Fuction in inkscape directly currently works best. In the latest Inkstitch Version the save function in the Visualize and Export tab is buggy. - Tina

Hi Juang, Did you run troubleshooting before trying to export? if there are errors left, it wont export the file. - Tina

dst files do not store color information, this is normal, you need the original color sheet from the file creator. - Tina

Inkstitch is an add on. You must download it from their website and unzip it in the proper folder. There are instructions on the site. Hope that helps
Since August 19, 2020 we have Ink/Stitch v1.29.1 running on Inkscape 1.0.1. There have been tons of fixes, maybe your error is fixed as well!
