Like Eric from cable tv) People only do corrections teachings assuming most of the dog owners already got into trouble (who needs these?) But you really train your dog with great beliefs that the moment you first meet he was an angel already
I use food to teach new behaviour like luring, capturing etc.. once my dog understands in generalization. I transfer to toy rewards. Thanks for explaining marker functions as a bridge to rewards. Either a verbal or using clicker. Some people confused about the timing of using the marker, appreciate your clear explanation.
