That ending was totally unexpected
Man Dabuz usually isn't exactly one of the most exciting players to watch, but I swear, seeing him dismantle Acola that way was satisfying as hell. Very cerebral plays by both of them and some good adaptions by Acola but the lips won in the end.

Honestly, Dabuz's natural play style (campy / methodical) is a good counter against Steve, imo. I thought Acola would switch to Kazuya after game 1, but maybe he doesn't like that matchup? Anyway, huge props to Dabuz.

I feel like camping against steve is not grea, steve gas the tools to gain a lead, for e and approach and then punish. I think it is weird that acola just does not mine, like if he had resources more resources he could control the game so much better, I feel like onin's steve would not have lost here.

Not really. Steve doesn't have anything that can attack from far away, except maybe minecart. Min min has the arms, Rosa has the luma, Olimar has the pikmin.

dabuz is a different type of player. acola is gonna have to overcome this if he wants to be #1
He won't be number 1. Steve is nowhere near as broken as people desperately wants him to be. The more people play against Steve, the less steve is gonna win. Steve is gonna remain a good character, but nothing broken.
@@Yokai_Yuri personally if he wasn't able to do the 3 block wall below platforms I wouldn't hate watching him as much but it's just so incredibly boring, generally not a large fan of camping but that is just straight up hitting the pause button for one side if your character doesn't have the tools to circumvent it.
@@Yokai_Yuri Steve has little to do with it, it's Acola. I agree with you Steve isn't nearly as good as the cry babies say, but you can't deny how good this kid is. If Leo can be the best with Byleth, Acola can be the best with Steve. Plus, he has Kazuya, he's not a solo character player.
They had to play again for the tie breaker like 2 times more, Acola beat Dabuz both times
Acola beat him in three best of three sets. In squad strike, and twice in the tie breakers 🗿 He’s definitely on dubuz’s level.

Watching acola's playstyle kinda makes it understandable for Steve players to play campy. Without material he cant do those crazy high dmg combo and has really limited options. Though camping is kinda lame but it has to be that way

I hate dabuz' olimar and min min but rosa is way more interesting and fun to watch. So many setups. I say the steves should take over if it means Dabuz will play rosa more.
Same. I can never tell what the hell the pikmins are doing, and since Dabuz used them more than most Olimar players, I don't like watching it. Min min is just bland and boring in general. She just spams her arms and hopes the opponent runs into them.
But Rosalina on the other hand is such a strategic character and I love what Dabuz can accomplish with her.

My only memory of playing Rosetta offline is one game against Lunamad, SUMABATO SP 28(第28回スマバトSP). It is hard to evaluate.
As far as I know, Roy, Zero Suit Samus, Pikmin and Olimar,Yoshi, Rob and Falco won the Japanese offline competition against aCola.

LOL Coney funny including Min Min with managing her arms. It's always easy to tell which arm you have and Dabuz's use of arms with her was not that great (He does seem to understand Min Min better than he plays her but it doesn't help that he was slow to adapt a lot of understanding of Min Min).
