Excellent video, great English and lot a lot better than my non existent second language skills! I'm looking for one of these radios now and your video very helpful. Thank you.
Enjoyed your demo of this radio. Nice demo of the different features. No problems with your English - for the most part wouldn't have known you weren't native English speaker. Only a few words showed you weren't native English speaker, and even those were still good. Thanks.
Hello. A friend of mine who owns this machine told me that he has two problems. One of them is with his s-meter. If a signal near you is relatively strong and brings you 9 + 30db, the instrument "crazy" and instead of showing 9 + 30db the real signal, it goes to 9 + 60db. The second is with NB, which when you put it, then it starts and puts you, parasitic emissions from adjacent frequencies, in the one you are listening to. Can you tell me if you have noticed something like that.
There is a hidden service menu where you can adjust or calibrate both S-meters. Be careful, you will need proper signal generator with regulated attenuator.

Can you tell me how to modify a ft2000 to work 11 meters
Yes, buy a CB and sit it on top of your yaesu. Use duck tape to attach it and voila, 11m added 😂😂😂
I'm hoping to Upgrade to the general class. Is this radio easy to operate
This radio is very easy to operate. Acess to most important features is directly from the front panel. Many hard buttons and dual knobs.
