- Let's craft a custom diorama to elevate that Hot Toys figure by giving it a more statuesque appearance. We'll put together some of the techniques used in previous episodes to create a diorama with a circular foot-print and wooden base. All in this episode of CRAFTED!

question if i don’t have an airbrush can the same effects be achieved with a regular brush?
@@ogzcollects2378 You do not need an airbrush but it certainly does help in achieving quick, smooth gradients and color transitions. If you want to or need to use a regular brush, the effects can be accomplished by using a mix of washes (i.e., thinned paints), dry brushing techniques, and even traditional spray cans. (Just remember, when using spray-paint cans the foam will melt if it’s not first sealed with mod Podge.)
That said, if you plan to keep making dioramas, models or customize figures, I absolutely recommend investing in an airbrush setup. 👍🏻

What size/diameter was the plaque that you used?
It was an 8 inch diameter wooden plaque. I beleive I purchased it from my local Hobby Store, but something similiar should be available on Amazon. Thanks for watching!
