Did I go Thrift shopping yesterday?!👍did I turn over plates and vases👍did I check for chips in them👍did I think before and remember what I am learning👍did I smart shop👍I thank you😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Whoa! Paul has so much so much so much stuff! I'd make a grid for each floor and work by grid to make sure I got to see all of his stuff. I'd want way more than I would ever need. And there is so much history there too. Boy, if things had memories to share think of all the stories we would hear.
Nice to have your hubby with you, he looks very fashionable with that purse. Lol my mom used to have a purse like that and I think someone took it. I really want one someday.
Love you guys wake up with Juliet every morning & its extra special when Andrews there as he is such a gentleman & his knowledge blows me away we don't have so much to choose from in Australia & you don't haggle on the prices like we would for sure never pay full price so admire u guys keep it up as it helps us all know more about everything antique inspirational x
@16:15 Is a Japan cork, chalk, and mixed media picture/art were made back in the 50's for tourist and servicemen during the Korean war. My Dad had 2 of them, but my sister threw them out without him knowing because SHE didn't like them. Ive been looking for a couple to replace them because my Dad past away back in 2012 and I really liked the pictures as a child. My sis doesn't know anything about artwork or the value of antiques or vintage. No money can replace our memories as a child. Jocelyn, when you finally get around to listing those 2 pics, let me know I will buy them. I really would like to have them. My Dad was a Navy veteran and served in the Korean War. Miss him!
The leather purse was a kit from Tandy leather co. My Dad and I made one together and tooled a horse head on one side and a large rose on the other side. They are what you call "a hobbyist piece". They are blank and you can decorate them as you wish.
This comes from a place of love, Paul, you need to organize your stuff. So many fantastic pieces, but only about 25% is clearly visible. I would love to get in there and do it for free, just to see his wares 🥰
Thanks for another shopping trip although I'd have loved seeing the whole trip at once. Btw~ this video has a clarity & sharpness I've never seen. It was an amazing quality of images!!
At 16:12 that is a picture from Japan. They were made as a cottage industry after WW2. It was a way to make pictures from things people could find in the mountains and sell to the servicemen and then to the tourists.
Paul's "booth" is ginormous! I could spend days in there because there is so much to see, but those freaky floors make me nervous. I love it when Andrew shops with you. God bless you and your family.
OMG... I hope I find a vintage christmas booth like that! Maybe next visit we could look a little more closely at the christmas? Best time to buy christmas is when it's off season. Lovely! What fun!
Hi guys!😎😎 So fun to have you go through Paul’s stash !! And Andrew you were rockin’ that hippie chick leather purse. Reminded me of high school all over again!😔 So fun to watch you two buying some great finds!
The vintage Christmas area was amazing! Love that little two dollar bowl (ash tray?) you picked up. Pretty. Wow our medium flat rate boxes are 15! Guess because of where we live?
Hey Joce, I had a leather purse in high school, back in the 1970's, that was just like the one you found. Mine came from a really nice leather store in a mall in Nampa, Idaho. I had a matching leather wrist bracelet too. The only difference between the purse you bought and mine was that the flowers were painted bright colors. I was no hippie tho, I went to a co-ed private Christian high school that wouldn't have allowed love beads or any other hippie trappings. I was a country farm kid, as were most of the other girls in our rural school. We were into the Holly Hobbie, "Prairie Style", which was a style that was popular at the same time as the hippie movement, but was clean, free of drugs, and the rest of the malarky that went along with being a hippie. We all carried purses like the one you found. Thanks for a fun trip down memory lane and see you on Part II.
Just realized that not only are you from Massachusetts, you are from my town, Methuen. We raised our girls there and then moved out nearby into a condo. Keep up all the good work, your consistency of daily videos is really paying off, we know we can count on you to upload a fun, interesting, educational and well edited video daily. And it's paying off in more knowledge for your viewers, so thank you!!
I'm sitting in my daughter's house looking at 3 of the paintings with moss and bark. I bought them for her because they look good with the real wood walls.
The item you pick up in the very beginning (the cat that you thought might be bronze) could be a cat urn. So someone's kitty may be getting a new home (which is good). We bought the same urn in pewter for our kitten that didn't make it back in January of this year. If you look up lasvegaspetcremation under cat urns you will see it. Keep up the great work - love all of your videos. I lived in Harrisburg back in 1998 and miss that entire area.
I would have liked to see the brass horse book ends and the milk glass plate, just found your channel and can’t thrift because of my immune system so watching this means so much, thanks for posting
It is so funny to me that you picked up that leather purse, I had one in the early 70"s and I have been looking for one but I really want one bigger than that now. I carry a lot more things in my purse these days. Lol
Chips on the feet of the unusual vase can be polished so they are less noticable (not that they were very) as long as you disclose that when selling. It's completely legit.
We lost our best thrift antique shop in a tornado last year....Resellers must know when to come to our goodwill too because never anything at all....shelves empty....
I can't remember if that's where that's at where they have a phone upstairs that you can use to call downstairs for them to help you. I think they'll even come up and carry items down to the front desk for you if you don't feel like going back downstairs.
CLL since you are "hoarding" comforters/bedspread, perhaps you should purchase those stands with long rod across and 2 rods (legs) and put in bedroom to display them to enjoy them and then change them every couple of months. Just a thought.
We love your videos! I have a suggestion... we would love to see a video where you talk about your birds! I love seeing them or hearing them in your videos.
I have a childs purse very similar to the one you picked up. Now what I can tell you is I was born in 1968 and I believe I have had that purse since I was 5yr.old, so i am betting the age of it is probably early 70's.
My kids have no interest in antiques. They would rather get crap from an updated store and wonder why it falls apart. So if their not interested you will be getting a lot of stuff that has worth. I’m gonna leave a note in my will. At least you all appreciate the beauty. 👍👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘
Does anyone know how glass artists make all those tiny, very even glass dots on that tall, pink, glass vase? Or is there a name for that technique that I could look up? (the one w/chips on the feet)
I love it when ANDREW IS SHOPPING WITH YOU.. I've missed seeing him.
Did I go Thrift shopping yesterday?!👍did I turn over plates and vases👍did I check for chips in them👍did I think before and remember what I am learning👍did I smart shop👍I thank you😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
🤣💖💖
Btw, I love when you and Andrew shop together! You're such a lovely, happy compliment for each other!
I love when Andrews along💕
Andrew has such an easy going humble attitude. So refreshing and admirable.
I love it when you and Drew shop together. You two have so much fun together 😊
The leather purse is from the seventies, we all had one just like that when I was a teenager! ✌🏼❤️
Yay! Sunday morning, coffee and CLL! Could it get any better? Nah! Bonus: Andrew came along!
Whoa! Paul has so much so much so much stuff! I'd make a grid for each floor and work by grid to make sure I got to see all of his stuff. I'd want way more than I would ever need. And there is so much history there too. Boy, if things had memories to share think of all the stories we would hear.
Wouldn't that be insane...if you could touch an antique and see it's memories
14:13 Darling Brass Duck 👍😁👍
14:52 Cute Smurf Glasses 👍😃👍
19:50 Cool Alarm Clock 👍😎👍
Missing Andrew-you 2 are such a great team!
Andrew is such a trooper.
Great seeing you and Andrew together. Two great minds shopping.
Nice to have your hubby with you, he looks very fashionable with that purse. Lol my mom used to have a purse like that and I think someone took it. I really want one someday.

That’s awesome! Thank you so much for the info!
Not necessarily! I got mine from a talented leather crafter in 1973 at the juried Central PA Arts Fest.
This comes from a place of love, Paul, you need to organize your stuff. So many fantastic pieces, but only about 25% is clearly visible. I would love to get in there and do it for free, just to see his wares 🥰

Love getting the free education. Between you and Drew- there is so much knowledge! Love that you share it with us. Thank you.
Like that cobblers bench. I've used mine as a coffee table for 35 years.
Those Boston Terrier bookends are awesome!
I guess it is a new england thing but I love old creaky floors
Nope. Reminds me of the stores downtown where I grew up in GA. I love creaky old floors!!!
At 16:12 that is a picture from Japan. They were made as a cottage industry after WW2. It was a way to make pictures from things people could find in the mountains and sell to the servicemen and then to the tourists.

I love shopping with Andrew! He’s so funny!
I need that Tutti play case!! I'm a Barbie collector and have never come across one in the wild.
That's a beautiful bird at 3:36. Wow, look at those colors. 😍
The head vase missing fingers, spoke to me. I need it. She was very discreet with her finger flipping.
Wasn't she great! The perfect gift for that someone......in a passive aggressive way. Hahahaha
She was quite current! I think she is the perfect 2020 collectible!
The orange vase was amazing. Love Paul's booths at Bedford St.
Is that his booth at the top of the stairs?
That place is amazing! I cannot imagine just how big it is in person! I love the dog bookends!
Hi guys!😎😎
So fun to have you go through Paul’s stash !! And Andrew you were rockin’ that hippie chick leather purse. Reminded me of high school all over again!😔
So fun to watch you two buying some great finds!
I had a purse just like that in 69. It lasted for years
Just use some leather conditioner and it will come right back.
Me too.🏵️
I had one like that too in 69. I loved that purse!
I had one in the early 70's with grapes on it and a braided leather piece to slip the flap through to close it.
I had one in the mid 70's!
So did I🤯😜
Love the vase even though the feet need a tiny pedicure
The Boston Terrier bookends were a great find. Love them!
Hi from 🇨🇦. Enjoy your Sunday!
Thanks for sharing and caring! Stay Safe!
The vintage Christmas area was amazing! Love that little two dollar bowl (ash tray?) you picked up. Pretty. Wow our medium flat rate boxes are 15! Guess because of where we live?
That is the prettiest piece of pottery I’ve ever seen. I would do local pickup and grab it.
Lassie is just their in case you fall down the well and she has to go fetch help. 😂😂😂😂♥️
Aww that dog cookie jar was lovely
Lynne de Lacy Yes, I was yelling grab that!
Y,all are my very favorite to watch..I have to have my crazy lamp lady fix every day..love watching y,all..
I really need to revisit this store!
Loven that 60s style purse!
I would really enjoy seeing more of Paul’s upstairs booths
I say that too! You know what I mean, jelly bean? And I love that 60’s leather purse. I’m an ole hippy and I had a similar one!

I had a purse and bracelet like that also.
The creaky floors are the best part 😁
I LOVE that dog cookie jar for some reason. Usually not a huge fan of cookie jars, but that one is really adorable!
I love you guys so much! Too cute together! Makes me so happy!💖
That vintage Christmas booth 😍😍😍
I have been to Hagar's shop in Dundee , IL. several times . They have a museum along with a store that also sells seconds
LOVE the boxer bookends !
Just looked it up. Permanently closed as of May 2016

That naughty lady vase!🤣
I liked both of you modeling! 😍
Love the creaky Floors!
Rosenthal Netter is just the American distribution company for Bitossi. And many others, but those are Bitossi.
can we all take a shot when she says "theres a cow on it?" lol, or is that just for birds?
Tamara Barber 😄 The game is birds, but feel free to have a shot for cows anytime you like.
Wanda Allmond
I'm diggin' the creaky, creaky floors!!
I would have liked to see the brass horse book ends and the milk glass plate, just found your channel and can’t thrift because of my immune system so watching this means so much, thanks for posting
That pot is so beautiful!,,
Love the iris planter!
I. See you posted the angel. She is a beauty! Hope you do well on auction ❤️
Hi Andy 🤗
I am curious..what was the this building used for originally? So interesting with the staircase and hard wood floors and it's huge.
It was a church at one point. And also a dress factory. ☺️
It is so funny to me that you picked up that leather purse, I had one in the early 70"s and I have been looking for one but I really want one bigger than that now. I carry a lot more things in my purse these days. Lol
20:09 is Victoria Ironstone ware, cheap Chinese import and modern basically, with an old looking stamp. Google it.
Ah, yes. I’m glad I only paid $5 to learn that lesson! 😂 And I appreciate my viewers for teaching me.
@@CrazyLampLady We have all been there lol xox
Thanks for the videos
Going to the Goodwill today!
Chips on the feet of the unusual vase can be polished so they are less noticable (not that they were very) as long as you disclose that when selling. It's completely legit.
Question Mark & The Mysterians - 96 Teardrops - pretty good memory!
that great doggie cookie jar would be fabulous for doggie biscuits, too.
I loved the boxer dogs. I have a boxer now we adopted. She's a great dog.
I always wonder if its hard for you not to keep so many of these beautiful finds!
CLL since you are "hoarding" comforters/bedspread, perhaps you should purchase those stands with long rod across and 2 rods (legs) and put in bedroom to display them to enjoy them and then change them every couple of months. Just a thought.
That's a great idea to photograph them as well, instead of spreading them on the ground. Thank you! :)
We love your videos! I have a suggestion... we would love to see a video where you talk about your birds! I love seeing them or hearing them in your videos.

That pot is so pretty! BUT so are you.😊 This is the second time that I’ve downloaded a song after hearing it on your channel.😀
Lol
Switching to Glide?
I believe the bookends are Boston Terriers! They are fantastic.
Yes that is how you say Schenectady....my home town...lol
I love the cow!!!!!
Love the boxer book ends! Wow, so much to look at! Being from California I envy your many resources you have for vintage pieces😄👍
Aww so sad about the weller, but glad you grabbed some majolica pieces along the way! :)
My kids have no interest in antiques. They would rather get crap from an updated store and wonder why it falls apart. So if their not interested you will be getting a lot of stuff that has worth. I’m gonna leave a note in my will. At least you all appreciate the beauty. 👍👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘
I would love to spend a day in that place. There is nothing like that in RI, and the thrift stores here leave a lot to be desired.
the swan at 18:30 was gorgeous.....and did you forget to show andrew that german chocolate pot at 14:00?
I actually have a leather purse like that one. Mine is probably 15 year's old. I bought from Wilson's Leather.
Hello, happy Sunday...
The Cow platter is a reproduction sold at hobby lobby!
Loving you hair these days. 👍
Does anyone know how glass artists make all those tiny, very even glass dots on that tall, pink, glass vase? Or is there a name for that technique that I could look up?
(the one w/chips on the feet)
Great place, great scores . Couldn't Finnish video, in to much pain. But I will come back to it. 👍♥️😷🇺🇸
Was that a melted popcorn snowman!?
Looks like the cow platter 11 by 7 sells for 69.99$ on eBay
