It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is an amazing sitcom built off some basic, core elements and the season 7 episode "Chardee MacDennis" may just use those elements better than any other. In this video I go over what makes the episode work so well, and why using Frank as an audience surrogate character works better than expected.

My favorite episode (not the best) is Reynolds vs Reynolds: The Cereal Defense*. The sheer amount of references generated and the creativity in that dialogue does not have rival. The fact that they spend hours yelling at each other and arguing to solve their problems just encompasses the Gang’s mystique. Mac’s Evolution speech is one of the best scenes of the show
The plot coming to a complete halt for Mac’s over the top reasoning for why evolution isn’t real is incredible. The premise of the episode is creative yet wacky, only for the argument over cereal and driving accidents to shift to why evolution is bullshit. Macs delivery as well as the bell sound effect every time he calls a scientist a bitch is the probably my favorite joke in the show
Cereal Defense
my favourite part of the whole show is Season 13 episode 10.
I don't watch interactive dance much.
But the artistry of that dance hits my soul.
My favorite as well. There's just something so perfect about Dennis' descent into just deeper frustration and bafflement as the rest of the gang just throw stuff in there just because they felt like it and logic is nowhere to be found.
And anyone who doesn't agree IS A IDIOT AND SAVAGE!!!
I love the "dennis is a bastard man" scene because initially with dennis' facial expressions you might think that charlie won't say it because he's scared but then when he says "that's what it is" you realize he literally just forgot
I'll never forget that line, and the way Glen delivers it. It's too funny.
In my opinion always sunny is one of the most consistent show I've ever seen. The fact the characters don't need to grow or have some properly fleshed out arc just works.
What did Seinfeld say? No hugs and no lessons learned or something? Feel like Sunny absolutely nails that mindset
@@keganmurphy5741 Always sunny is very much a combination of shows that came before it in that style but at the same time a satire of them.
@@GeoFMFC that's generally how satire works, yes
@@Gloomdrake Truuuuuuuuuuuuuuuue.
And it's not only consisten on the personalities of the characters, also the quality of the show itself hasn't changed a lot imo (this in a good way), but I'd say of all the main characters Dennis has been slowly changin from a narcissistic jerk to a more psychopath profile, still I think he has been both from the beginning.
For me it’s probably “Mac and Dennis Move to the Suburbs” but for an earlier season the one where Dennis tries going into fashion and Mac and Frank start a SWEATSHOP is just a great kickstart to the whackiest stuff the gang does.
oh my god i love move to the suburbs, that one is a fucking classic. and charlie with his bandana, don't even get me started
Wait til you hear the steam whistle!
Suburbs one might be my fav too which is amazing. Up until then it was "Mac Bangs Dennis's Mom" which was like season 2 heh.
But yeah, CharDee MacDennis is absolutely fantastic and right up there.
Dennis explaining the gloryhole to Frank is one of the funniest scenes ever put on tv. Also, that one other scene... because of the Implication...
And no one would ever disagree with that… because of the implication.
@@coleozaeta6344you know you’ve said the word “implication” twice now. What implication?
@@mackisepic3279you know, the implication.
A lot of this shows best episodes are where they put these characters in a room together and just let them work off of eachother (Chardee MacDennis, Reynolds vs. Reynolds: The Cereal Defense, The Gang Gets Analyzed, Hero or Hate Crime, etc.)
I love your Joe Pera profile pic.
My favorite is the cereal defence. Every time i see dennis eating cereal while driving a car i fuckin' die laughing
I literally made a list for my sister of the always sunny episodes that are ONLY the five members (or at least the ones where it's almost entirely just the ones)
id agree the bottle episodes they have are conceptually the best and just more entertaining, but the laughs are harder in the traditional episodes.
Also The Gang Goes To Hell
To me my most favourite episode is The Gang Gets Held Hostage, it has the McPoyle family, which is always a plus, it has the characters acting in the most extreme versions of their own identities, a ridiculous premise, and it ends in this really muted and underwhelming way which was a fantastic twist at the end of an actually quite tense episode
"I think you're in Charlie's bad room!" absolutely killed me lmao
@@leebarbs7176 that whole segment with Frank crawling through the vents was fucking gold. "Chawlie what are you trying to tell me buddy?"
“Looking for your will, pop?”
@@trequor "Jesus Christ, the kid's an idiot"
Any episode with the McPoyle's is gold! I love "Who Got D Pregnant" as it brought in my favourite guests - the McPoyle's and Artemis. In fact any episode with Artemis in is instantly raised too, with her confident vulgarity just being a pure pleasure to watch.
Have you seen the bloopers of Ryan McPoyle? He cracks the cast up with manic performances of "you will call her!", "then start breaking bricks, wet nips" and "he's dead to me ... deeeaaad!" Just incredible. Watched them multiple times. Jimmi Simpson excels at weird characters.
"Shady Nasty's?"
"It's Shadynasty's, asshole!"
Still one of my favorite jokes
"He's outta here"
I recently lettered a boat named "Shadynasty".
Agreed
Worst episode
@@tombstonejones9581 the worst episode is who pooped the bed
I would ask everyone here if their favorite episode is, “the gang buys a boat” but there’s no point…you’re not going to say no…you would never say no…because of the implication.
for me, the best episode (and the one i introduce IASIP to ppl on) is the gang solves the gas crisis because the way the story devolves into something so funny, plus the B story of frank and dee trying to spy on dee and dennis' biological dad but its just a random stranger is so funny. and the ghostbusters callback at the end of the episode is just *chefs kiss*. by farrr one of the funniest written episodes of the show IMO
WILD CARD BITCHES!!! YEEEEEEEEE HAW!
the gas crisis is such a great episode. my all time favorite.i dont show it to ppl who havent watched iasip due to the spoilers tho
How do you count a liquid?
Me too! The Gang Solves The Gas Crisis is the perfect episode. Each character is well defined and given a chance to shine. They're selfishness and dickishness comes through. And the Wild Card Bitches twist is great.
Now my favourite episode is Frank's Pretty Woman though.
We're itching like a hound to give you something you want.
Nothing makes it more clear that this show is a masterpiece than the fact that people are replying to your vid with their favorite episode and every one is picking different episodes. :)
This show is just so freaking good.
Exactly
My personal favortie has become “The Gang Misses The Boat” Glenn Howerton gives a masterclass performance in that episode
Its a good starter episode.
The scene with Charlie and Dee in the diner is my favourite in the entire series! It's fascinating to see how they act when separated from the rest of the group.
@@Seth_M-T it’s good the rest of the gang wasn’t there, otherwise he’d have to eat the beak
it’s a five star episode for sure
He becomes untethered and his rage knows no bounds!
I don’t agree that the It’s Always Sunny gang stay the same through the whole show, I’d say that they start off pretty bad but just get worse and worse to the point that you can’t remember them being any different
I definitely think Dee and Frank shifted from their first season, starting out as some "straight man". But after their second season I think the flanderisation was pretty minimal. Mac is the only one that keeps shifting every few seasons.
"By the way, all of us have become so goddamn weird." -Dennis, "The Gang Misses the Boat"
Macs gay!
They definitely don’t. By season 15 they’re all wildly different
I prefer the earlier seasons overall personally, as they were more believable as characters then. It's still good in later seasons, but for me there's a pre Fat Mac, and post Fat Mac tonal shift.
They really became caricatures of themselves as it went on. But flanderization and long running shows go hand in hand unfortunately.
My personal favorite is when they all dine together at the same restaurant… never laughed so hard on a tv series ahaha
I think that one of the best episodes to show someone new to the series is “The Gang Goes To The WaterPark.” It really shows off the gang’s dynamic and lets each character shine. It’s not the best, but I think it gives a new viewer a great look into what kind of a show this is, and the weird chaos that inevitably ensues.
I’d say the Gang Gets Analyzed is a better episode for that
I just watched that episode today and I was holding in laughter the entire time!
For me the best episode of this show will always be the Season Four premiere "Mac and Dennis: Manhunters" nonstop laughs from start to finish and honestly I think some of the best character interactions in the entire show. I feel like Dee and Charlie is an underutilized pairing a lot
the hunger
“The Gang Dines Out” is by far my favorite episode.
Chardee MacDennis is the episode I use to introduce people to the show. It quickly establishes the characters and their dynamics and it’s a bottle episode so it’s focused entirely on the gang. Perfect for people who aren’t familiar with the show at all
Macs interpretive dance scene in season 13 episode 10 is an undeniable masterpiece.
Independent of everything else.
And it is only elevated by the rest of the show
Gotta love that that is in the same episode as Frank gluing his nose shut and using lemon juice for some insane reason and ends up looking like an infected troll.
the best part about that episode is that its actually really moving, i cried a lot at the end where frank says that he gets it.
Did you really just say "incase you don't remember it" about Chardee MacDennis? lol who can forget an episode like that? It's brilliant!
True! They've just done so many episodes now.
This episode is a classic, the perfect example of a bottle episode. I'm glad you mentioned "Charlie Work" too, it's my favorites episode, and I love the super long fake one-take that is the majority of the episode.
My favorite because Charlie gets to shine and the continuity with the g sharp thing with him being a musical savant just tickles the good part of my brain
@Jade Harley I love how throughout the episode Charlie keeps slamming the barstool down for it to crumble when Dee sits on it at the end, only to have Mac or Dennis take credit for the prank, again undermining Charlie's work.
This is literally my favorite episode of the series! There’s just something about Dennis yelling “SHUT UP DOG!”
The flashback in slo-mo of him saying it and pouring "beer" in Frank's face gets me everytime
Something that shows just how great IASIP is is the fact that so many of their best episodes barely include anyone except the gang. The writers behind this are so good that all they need is the main cast and an empty set to make some television gold.
Fun fact: The show was almost cancelled during the first season of shooting. The President of the FX Network wanted to add a new character, and being friends with Danny DeVito he decided to approach him about joining. DeVito's children were big fans of the first season of the show so he decided to sign on for ten episodes. DeVito enjoyed being part of the show so much, he became a regular cast member.
Even better is that he now loves the show so much he suggests his character does even more and more deranged things. If i remember correctly, I believe him being oiled and sliding out of the couch naked was also his idea
We know
Ok I know I have no life but you straight up copy and pasted that from IMDb trivia
I've always thought the same.
Yeah and Rob (creator and Mac) didn’t want Danny devito but he figured he’d rather take him than get canceled
To this day my favorite episode is probs a tie between "the Gang Tries Desperately to win an Award' and "McPoyle vs Ponderosa: the Trial of the Century" they're just so ...... Just incredible lmfao
The birds law joke took seasons to pay off, but oh boy it did!
@@loiracitr it wasnt till my third or Fourth Watch that I found out Pappy McPoyle was Guillermo del Toro lmfao
When the gloove flies through the court was gold....next scene he has duck tape on his wrist
@@alexandrefrancofilho5041 the attention to detail is pretty amazing ngl.
Sweet Dee Gets Audited is my favorite by far! The baby funeral kills me every time
The kid's date of death is "too soon" LOL
audited? what, no, i'm not scamming the government, if that's what you're saying
Every episode is fantastic! The best SCENE though is when Mac an Charlie try to fake their death and Mac drives Dee’s car into the wall and Charlie’s reaction is priceless!
Old Lady House has been my go-to whenever I’m trying to put someone onto the show. It’s not my favorite episode, but I feel like it demonstrates each character in a perfect way without having them go completely batshit insane. Also Mac’s mom always is a plus
It's a great episode but for me it's the Water Park ep. That one is really easy to get into and the dry waterslide aids-water pay off is one of the greatest comedy moments ever.
I think Mac finds his pride is the one of the best sitcom episodes of all time. First time in the entire series they played a serious moment as serious and didn’t undercut it with a joke. The end of that episode is the only moment of growth and maturity in the entire show. Brilliant episode
I'd agree with you if it was any other show. Doing that episode in Always Sunny was extremely incongruous.
@@raydragerns3657 it was their emmy attempt episode
One of my favorite episodes is actually The Gang Gets Analyzed, it's a perfect introduction to the characters and the hell that is their codependence
Probably my favourite episode is one that simply does not get enough praise at all; Mac Bangs Dennis' Mom. I felt this episode was a clear example of them catching lightning in a bottle very early. An extravagantly laid out revenge storyline where you have all the cast in their prime; Mac being co-dependent and desperate over a one-night stand where he is as usual being used, Dennis' vanity and aggressive pursuit of preventing rejection at an all time high, Dee ruining a person's life so that she can escape from her own problems, and Frank wallowing in a mid-life crisis with insane consequences. And of course, Charlie at the root of it all by using his undying love of the Waitress to toy with everyone into a plan that seemingly can work but will inevitably backfire on him.
I'm not going to go into long detail for those who don't remember this episode much, but I'd highly recommend people revisit this one and see Sunny at its peak of unsettling comedy with a hilariously dark conclusion that wraps all _five_ individual character's storylines together, with a beautiful culmination of how these people will always just constantly ruin each other before being able to ruin anyone else.
That was one of the first episode where the gang really starts to become the people they are for the rest of the show. An incredible episode, and I think there's some RUclips videos about that episode and how it really cemented sunny as an amazing show
that's my fave as well
I binged always sunny years ago and that episode made me realize I was watching a masterpiece. one of my favorite episodes of my favorite show ever.
Season 7 is also my favorite season! I like 9 as well. But 7 just seemed like the most genuine the show has ever been.
My favorite is season 5, it has a lot of my favorite episodes: the Gang Wrestles for the Troops, the DENNIS system, the Gang reignites the Rivalry
Season 9 has so many classics: Mac Day, Flowers for Charlie, and The Gang Broke Dee are all at least top 20 episodes for me.
@@josephlore8636 that's why I mentioned it. Because it's so close for me. Both are great seasons
Season 5, Season 7 and Season 9 are my favorite. I also like Season 10 as well. For episodes like Family Fight. lol
Almost every episode of season 7 could be a contender for best episode of the series. The show has always been amazing but something about that season was extra special for me.
One of of my favorite episodes is when we see through Frank’s eyes for a day. Charlie work is another gem
"Being Frank"
Hot take: Frank’s Brother is still really funny. I like how they just go crazy with it and Danny always works. Good delivery
I also love the implication that the coke made frank think he was trapped in colombia for years where in actuality it was probably a few months
They also found really good actors to play their younger selves!
i was honestly surprised when i learned a lot of fans don't like that episode
Wait, people don't like that one? I think that's Frank's best episode
One of my favorites for sure... the "Shady-Nasty" reveal knocked my socks off... the brother dancing with another dude according to Frank's memory... the present-time people being a lot bigger than Dennis imagined.... the social commentary... just brilliant
The episode when they dug up Dennis and Dee’s mom was an excellent episode
one of MANY classic episodes, so hard to pick a single favourite one
I agree. Truly the 21st century's Seinfeld (which to me is high praise)!
There's just too many perfect episodes in this show to choose just one
*The Gang Hits The Road* is the best episode.
Joke-per-minute is up there with any episode, but most importantly;
It stands as a perfect allegory for the entire show.
A group of highly expectant self-serving egotists attempt a road trip, but don’t make it beyond the very bar they started at. It’s poetry.
Also ends on one of IASIP's running jokes: Dee loses yet another car due to the rest of the gang's incompetence.
Hits The Road is by far my favorite episode as well
God I love Season 5. The Gang Hits The Road, Paddy's Pub: The Home of The Original Kitten Mittens, The Gang Gives Frank an Intervention, The Gang Reignites The Rivalry, The Waitress Gets Married, The D.E.N.N.I.S. System....I could watch those episodes on a loop.
Can’t wait to see season 15 next week.
The Gang goes on Family fight is my favorite. I show it to people who have never seen It's Always Sunny and they love it.
That was my first episode! My brother showed it to me so I would watch the show!
I see people are saying their favourite episode, mine has to be The gang buys a boat.
It's got Dees flailing arm dance, Charlie finding magical treasure and the horse massacre, Dennis's implication.
Just overall perfect. The opener as well when the sales mans like
"A P Diddy style shrimping vessel" I'm laughing just thinking about it.
Frank's brother is one of my FAVORITES lol I love the shadynasty plot line and how they both love the same girl who doesn't even want them lmao. I love it.
THINGS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE DIFFERENT. ITS SUPPOSED TO BE DIFFERENT NOW
I’m so happy someone else has agreed with me. My first always sunny episode I watched fully and because of it I have fallen in love with it. The flip a coin joke is still one of the funniest moments.
Dennis' face while waiting to steal Charlie's trivia question is my favorite thing in this episode.
Season 7 has to be the peak of Always Sunny, every episode is brilliant. Frank's Little Beauties is probably my favourite
It’s probably my favorite all around too 😊
the gang gets invincible is a classic to me and showsbthat season 3 was the beginning of so much comedy gold to come. And ofcourse people we need the beginning/foundation that is season 1 & 2.
As far as being the only one to feature only the main characters, reynolds vs reynolds the cereal defence also only features the main characters except a bar-goer who has a single line. This is the closest to being only the main 5, and coincidentally is also in my top 5 episodes like Chardee MacDennis is
I think Mac and Dennis Break Up pretty much only has the gang (and that one cop briefly). It's also in my top 5 favourite eps!
My favorite episode was "The Gang Hits the Slopes." It's a perfect homage to the skiing/party/spring break movies of the 90s. Seeing Dennis nail those awesome moves was cool, and the announcer who magically knew everyone's names was so funny. Plus - CHARLIE ACTUALLY SCORES!!!
Weird way to spell The Nightman Cometh
IASIP is criminally under rated.
Frank in the quarantine episode is pure comedy gold
Personally, my top ten for it’s always sunny would go
1. Reynolds Vs Reynolds: Cereal Defense
2. Charlie Work
3. The Dennis System
4. Chardee Macdennis
5. The Gang Desperately Tries to win an award
6. Dee Reynolds: Shaping America’s youth
7. The Gang gets analyzed
8. The Gang Gets Racist
9. Mac and Charlie: White Trash
10. The Gang gets Trapped or The Gang recycles their Trash
Mac and Dennis Move to The Suburbs?
The Gang Gets Trapped is far too underrated
@@snowthatblows that one’s alright but it doesn’t explore the whole group’s dynamic enough
@@dearratboy so good, exactly what I look for in an episode. The twist at the end totally got me too. Great group interaction

Chardeemacdennis is my second favorite episode. The Nightman Cometh is definitely number one for me. I'm up to here!
Great episode, but my personal favorite is The Gang Dines Out
Hahahaha "I'll pinch their dicks with this lobster" fucking gold
Best episode is “Hero or hate crime”
The thing is though, there are so many episodes that could be the defining episode of Always Sunny. It’s just so well written and consistent
The fact that Dennis didn't flinch when he got darted in the hand is almost more psychotic when you learn he was stone sober.
My favorite episodes is "The Gang Goes to the Jersey Shore". Charlie finally nails the Waitress, Dennis and Dee realize how horrible their childhood family vacations were, a well timed Cricket appearance, and the Rum Ham of course. It had pretty much everything I love about the show in one episode. I also really liked "The D.E.N.N.I.S System" and "The World Series Defense" as well.
this was my first episode! and its still one of my favs.
such a confusing yet perfect intro to the show!
My favourite episode is the christmas one since it represents what makes the show so special in comparison to others with how treats christmas tropes and stories like a christmas carol
My favorite episode is The Gang Hits the Road. Something about a road trip with your friends is really enticing, and it always gets me excited to watch, and it has that classic Always Sunny ending where it doesn't work out. I also have a very vivid memory of the first time I watched The Gang Buys a Boat, because I said "That boat is going to be destroyed by the end", and like a prophecy come to life, there it was, on fire and sinking, in a way perfectly picturesque for that show.
More Always Sunny please !!
Matt Shakman, WandaVision director, directed 43 episodes of it's always sunny, including all of season 7, Charlie Work, The Nightman Cometh and Sweet Dee has a Heart Attack
It blows me away that this is your first video on Sunny
It doesn't hurt that it took place during the most glorious arc of all sitcoms: the fat mac arc
Please keep doing videos on your favorite sitcom episodes! They’re really great!
This is also my favorite episode and I couldn’t have explained how great it is better myself. Another fantastic video from you
Charlie Work is my personal favorite
This is funny as recently aired on their podcast, the guys talked about how this was one of the episodes they were most concerned about the audience staying engaged for. They had a lot of trouble making this one and didn’t think it was of a very high caliber compared to some of their other works
one of the MANY reasons this is in my top 5 fav episodes is one of the rarities of it: dennis and dee actually acting like a tight brother and sister. sure, still bringing out the worst in each other, but ACTUALLY doing it TOGETHER. we never get to see them doing anything but destroying each other or bullying the other, and yes even when they do that they still essentially do it TOGETHER so we know they still do have some kind of value in their sibling relationship, but.. in chardee macdennis, we actually get some payoff for how well they know each other, under what circumstances they can be good teammates, and so on. and they still manage to do all this while not looking like they're doing it at all, because they're still bullying each other and being horrible people throughout!
as you stated, their lack of development across the series' run is what makes it as good as it is. it's the only thing it shares with bad or good-but-burnt-out sitcoms that makes it better and better rather than causing it to fail.
I'm doing a rewatch currently and I just finished the episode after this one. Good timing for RUclips. Like you said, season 7 is just gold. Seasons 4-9 contain so much gold too, but honestly every single episode I'd argue for being great if you know the context the writers are going for.
I fucking love that you chose my favorite episode too, been saying it for years that this is the best one followed by Hero or Hate Crime
Great vid, as always. This is such an iconic episode. A group of my friends created a working copy of Chardee MacDennis, which they have used to terrorize each other many times.
i love the episode where charlie saves pub from health inspector
Thanks for making great content!
I was genuinely bummed when they got rid of all of the Lethal Weapon episodes, it’s understandable tho
What??? I hadn't realized they did that (i watch it on a Russian streaming site). Yikes. That sucks, they're great eps.
What's really messed up is they didn't pull episodes with Martina Martinez or Taiwan Tammy, so what's the message then? Hell, they really shouldn't even be letting Crazy Patty slide either...
@@dangerdan79 they removed the ones with Martina Martinez too
@@dangerdan79 the entire point of the first lethal weapon episode was about whether blackface is ever okay... and the gang learns it is not. It seems, um, overly sensitive (to be polite) to pull things like that and the 30 Rock episode where Jenna and Tracey switch places.
Oh well. It's the 21st century, they can't stop us from watching them. And hopefully the nonsensical censorship will push more people to consume media on illegal streaming sites, starving the networks.
This is an extremely underrated episode. It epitomizes what the series is all about and in an amazing, funny way.
i love your analysis on this series !!!! its fun how you used an ep thats supposed to be a sort of difference or break from the regular show since this eps just the main cast to highlight the core of the show
The scene where Charlie has the leprechaun tied to the chair and is dancing around drinking paint while maintaining eye contact makes me laugh till I cry. The look in the leprechauns eye as he realizes what he's dealing with is so funny
Iasip is literally my favorite sitcom ever. I think it’s better than the office
The only thing that rivals it for me pound for pound is community, but there is far more sunny so it wins.
omg, do more its always sunny content. Love to see you're a fan
i just wanted to say that this is the 5th video in a row that ive watched of yours and you, my friend, have just earned another subscriber. your content is amazing and your analysis of characters and episodes of different shows is so impressively entertaining, it feels like you have a background in cinema or something the way youre able to pick apart different aspects of these shows. keep up the great work 💜

REASON WILL PREVAIL
Hey, Cap! Really interested in your take on the newest season of Sunny and especially the last episode!! Love your stuff man thanks for the content.
What a great breakdown man. It took me like three watchthroughs before I got that Gang Tries Desperately to Win An Award was so meta 😂 ‘Is it us?? NAH!’
The gang tends bar is my favorite. The friendship scene with the rpg really touches me. Glen can really act.
I love that while they're screaming at each other. Glenn Howerton straight up screams down the camera.
It's the little things.
I agree this was one of the strongest seasons, but for me the perfect Sunny episode will always be the Christmas special. If any show was going to take the concept of a Christmas special and just absolutely fist-f**k it to death, it was this one, and boy did they deliver.
I think Mac finds his pride is easily one of the best and is my personal favourite though I wouldn't say it's the funniest
Hoping to see more videos about the show from you. This one was really great and a personal favorite episode of mine :D
Finally a captain midnight video I can get behind
Charlie Work is for sure my favorite episode! The camera work was fantastic 😍
Seasons 3 to 6 was just hilarious period. That's what really got me addicted to this show.
Playing this game in high school with friends is one of my favorite memories from that time. This show brought so many people i love together
Season 7 is easily my favourite season of the show, the Gang Gets Trapped has gotta be my personal favourite episode though. No idea why, something about it just clicked with me in a way that no other episodes did.
That being said, pretty much every season is pretty damn good anyway (except 13, can't stand I think all but 1 episodes in that season, glad to see that 14 did a lot better though; the global warming episode is another favourite of mine).
Nice video! The Gang Finds a Dumpster Baby, The Gang Gets Whacked and The Gang Goes to Hell alike are really all time highs of the show. The characters are absolutely the peak of themselves, its insane lol. Seasons 7 through 9 are the best for me. Its the most Sunny sunny seasons😁
I also know that everyone doesn't like season 13 but time's up for the gang is such a god damn good episode, it has some peak psychopath moments from dennis
also frank being on the phone with various lawyers the entire episode is such a good fuckin bit
this is my dad's favorite episode, and subsequently, the first episode I've seen from Always Sunny. it has remained one of my favorite shows of all time, and this episode holds a special place in my heart
