Seeing this brings back so many great memories. My local Honda dealership had a whole fleet of the 1990 KX models for sale. I used to sit on them all the time. I rode a 1990 XR80 and then later on I got an RM80. The RM was a fast little rocket of a bike, but I always kind of regretted not going with the Kawasaki. I think I was a little biased in favor of Suzuki because I always wanted a quad and I loved the Quadracer & Quadzilla. My best friend’s family owned a huge farm so they grew up riding quads. I was half raised by his folks I spent so much time over there. He ended up getting a bike himself later on - ‘89 leftover KX80 big wheel. Fastest 80cc in a drag race.
Suzuki RM80 is one the fastest dirtbikes, agile, smooth power but ripping in top rpms. I should wake up my LT500R someday.. lets see how slippery its.. KX500 is fun now (studded tires).. long winter time
