This was a fun video! ❤ I was 14 in 1970, 23 in 1979, and my mom and I sewed most of my clothes through that decade. One piece of feed back, the Reed Skirt is very late 70's when wide wale cord and straight mini skirts were in deep decline. We did make skirts like the Reed Skirt when I was an undergrad. We would have used poplin or a narrow rib cord in 1974-75 and it would have been faux avant-garde to make it in denim. Your choice of a rib corduroy is spot on as a revival. 🎉
