I hear many insulting women's boxing, but I do not know what matches they are seeing. With Men's titlists only fighting 1 or if lucky twice per year, women's boxing can be what takes up the slack. When WE give it the attention it deserves,all the Athletes will be trained on level of Shields,Marshall, McGee,Cameron,Taylor,Braekhus,etc.. The McGee vs. Cameron was as exciting as any men's match I ever watched. Great showing for Marshall but Muzeya was not as used to the spotlight as Savannah,and that pressure hindered her performance. I could see it written all over her face.
Love her smile at the end genuinely overwhelmed by the support and so deserved. She's a fantastic boxer, Well done Savannah you did yourself and Hartlepool proud!

When you talk about a natural range finder though.. and clearly a thoroughbred temperament. Doesn't charge in, fall in or come up square with the feet. Doesn't get excited and smother her work, economical, picks shots beautifully..

Savannah is THE best all round women's boxer I have ever seen. Claressa Shields is a very very good boxer who has nothing to prove BUT I do not think she could take Savannah's raw power. Not only that, Savannah has become a very astute fighter who works her opponents out, since she has been under the excellent guidance of Peter Fury. Shields ( great surname lol ) will definitely pose problems early on, as she has amazing hand speed but I am 100% confident Savannah stops her in the middle to late rounds. Womens boxing has become an amazing sport in the last few years thanks to great fighters like Katie Taylor but, for me, Savannah is the best of the lot.
I think Shields can take her power. Personally I don't think Marshall is that strong. Shields fought Franchon Cruz who hits harder than Marshall imo and Shields won the fight. Plus Cruz fought a man I mean Jimenez 😁 and held her own. Marshall too slow for Shields
What a fantastic boxer and person she is, the accuracy and power of that lass is frightening.. if she doesn't inspire young lasses in the sport nothing will you couldn't ask for a better role model. She's a class act
There's nothing wrong with her coach, and her tactics were fine. She knew she didn't have the skills to outbox Savannah. Her only chance was to try and blow her away in one or two rounds. It didn't work, but I love her for trying. It made for the best fight of the night, so promoters will love her too. She'll get plenty of work off the back of it.
Muzeya was a career Welterweight, she gave it a real good go and won the opening round, but she couldn't make a dent in Savannah. Muzeya should return to 147lbs or even go down to 140lbs. Kali Reis v Lolita Muzeya would be a good fight. Great performance from Savannah, picked her shots and picked her apart in the end, I look forward to seeing her again in December.
Marshall knows how to relax between punches and exchanges.. place the footwork, and hips after it to relax.. .. such crazy Volume in every punch allmost. This is PURE TALENT
Not taking anything away from Savannah, but Lolita was very reckless in this fight. Haven't seen her other fights so don't know how she pulled off the 16:0 record.

View counts, ticket sales, and all other stats and numbers you can think of, all clearly prove you are simping. and I have no problem visiting gyms to spar amateur fighters. I only spar men, not sure why you would want to risk your female talent against newcomers you have not yet seen fight before. A new guy could walk into your gym and "claim" they have never laced up a pair of gloves before, and then you throw him with one of your girls and they get dropped multiple times by a guy who clearly has boxing training and conditioning.
Savannah put on a great performance in front of her home support. Potential banana skin especially with the way Muzeya threw the kitchen sink at her in the first round - she could've been overwhelmed just with the occasion and the ferocity right from the bell. I hope Savannah shuts up Shields
Savannah is going to be a huge star of boxing. She has everything.....true 'grit'...determation....guts....and skill. She is also is a straight talker. There are no 'back-doors' to her. What you see....is what you get. *Well done girl!*

Certainly not now.......Greatest of all time in the women's game is not as prestigious a title considering the short time it has been going at the level it is now....but still it would be hard to argue against some of the pioneers and current fighters in Lucia Rijker, Ann Wolfe, Laila Ali, Mary Kom, Amanda Serrano, Cecilia Braekhus and Katie Taylor.....What about Elizabeth Stokes from the 1700s who fought against men bare-knuckle at a time when eye gouging and kicking were not discouraged and bouts lasted until someone was knocked out or quit.
Thought I was going to see a great style but after watching a few of Savannah's fights she is really simplistic and easily hit! Very slow and she uses the old European style which is easily countered by a slick boxer! She will have big problems with Shields! Can't wait to see them fight!

However, Shields has more experience, stamina & her defense is better. If it ever happens it's gonna be a great fight. It'll be hard for Shields to get a decision-fighting in England 🤔

Marshall is the most naturally talented female boxer in the sport. Tall, rangey, powerful, slick mover and throws all her shot with bad intentions. She's rpcked and knockex men out on sparring. P4P hardest puncher in in womens boxing
Muzeya was using a lot of energy in the first round. She was gassed out at the end of the round. She was doing a lot of things wrong. We need good quality coaching in Africa.
That what is called a TKO...means the Ref Stopped the Fight ... a KO is when the Fighter is unable to continue after a Registered Knock Down or is visibly unconscious....
Good straight puncher, nice footwork, decent power, but a bit slow...I still think Shield bears her. Everyone looks superb until they get in the ring with Clarissa. This young lady who faced Marshall got some terrible advice in this fight- poor lady punched herself out, she was done 2 minutes into the 1st round. Horrible fight strategy
Do you expect someone with a very long reach to look faster than someone with a shorter reach, she beat L Muzeya to the punch many times on the inside, and Savannah had the speed/timing to beat C Shield in the amateurs, the strategy of the Muzeya team was to take S Marshall into the trenches, she was never going to beat her on skills, the fact that L Muzeya had stopped her last 3 opponents in double quick time might have influenced the decision, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.
This woman is very accurate in landing her many punches.. She is wonderful to watch. She has power and she can take some punishment.. Her fight vs Shields should be a good one.. I can barely wait to see that fight..💥💥💥💥
This reminded me (taking things into context) a female match of Tommy hit man hearns v marvelous marvin hagler (gud rest his soul) 1985.. Savanah Marshall throws her hooks, uppercuts jabs identically to hearns and she's of simler stature... I don’t know if I’ve missed something, but what makes Savannah confident , Clarissa Shields is a different breed to anything Savannah as ever faced , ever , so to say , she will take her out in two rounds , she as got to be dreaming, saying that I’m English , support Savannah , hope she makes loads of money , and beats Clarissa, BUT if she does beat Clarissa , it won’t be easy .
That goes both ways,Shields has never faced an opponent before that has mastered defensive boxing as well as possessing knockout power.maybe not 2 rounds but I believe she will stop Shields.

Certainly not now.......Greatest of all time in the women's game is not as prestigious a title considering the short time it has been going at the level it is now....but still it would be hard to argue against some of the pioneers and current fighters in Lucia Rijker, Ann Wolfe, Laila Ali, Mary Kom, Amanda Serrano, Cecilia Braekhus and Katie Taylor.....What about Elizabeth Stokes from the 1700s who fought against men bare-knuckle at a time when eye gouging and kicking were not discouraged and bouts lasted until someone was knocked out or quit.
Thought I was going to see a great style but after watching a few of Savannah's fights she is really simplistic and easily hit! Very slow and she uses the old European style which is easily countered by a slick boxer! She will have big problems with Shields! Can't wait to see them fight!

Good straight puncher, nice footwork, decent power, but a bit slow...I still think Shield bears her. Everyone looks superb until they get in the ring with Clarissa. This young lady who faced Marshall got some terrible advice in this fight- poor lady punched herself out, she was done 2 minutes into the 1st round. Horrible fight strategy

Do you expect someone with a very long reach to look faster than someone with a shorter reach, she beat L Muzeya to the punch many times on the inside, and Savannah had the speed/timing to beat C Shield in the amateurs, the strategy of the Muzeya team was to take S Marshall into the trenches, she was never going to beat her on skills, the fact that L Muzeya had stopped her last 3 opponents in double quick time might have influenced the decision, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

This reminded me (taking things into context) a female match of Tommy hit man hearns v marvelous marvin hagler (gud rest his soul) 1985.. Savanah Marshall throws her hooks, uppercuts jabs identically to hearns and she's of simler stature... Marshall looks great. And she hits hard. She carries her hands low and that probably won't work if she faces better competition but I'm not sure there's any better competition out there among the female fighters.
I don’t know if I’ve missed something, but what makes Savannah confident , Clarissa Shields is a different breed to anything Savannah as ever faced , ever , so to say , she will take her out in two rounds , she as got to be dreaming, saying that I’m English , support Savannah , hope she makes loads of money , and beats Clarissa, BUT if she does beat Clarissa , it won’t be easy .
