E.A.: Years ago there used to be a video player not unlike our modern DVD. It played disks that had grooves like a record. That may not be what you found. Could be they are early audio books. Would explain the headphones. I actually commented on this before you showed the broken tv picture tube. Now I'm fairly sure these are movie disks. I almost bought one of the players about 35 years ago. I thought it was neat that you could get audio and video from a record. Then there were the laser disk machines, the true predecessor to the DVD plater. I do have one of those. Imagine a DVD the size of an lp record. Humungous! Sorry, I got a bit off topic. Great video, by the way. I love watching you (and your bride) explore abandoned buildings. I'd do it myself if I could walk and see good again. Here's a comment you may not have heard before. Thank you for being my legs and eyes, truly. You are a window into places and things I can no longer do. As long as you keep making videos, I will be watching them on the old ipad. Many thanks! 😀👍
My Bride loves those old places too but she gets a tad nervous! I understand for sure. Glad you enjoy them and thanks for going along each time. Thanks for the info on the record thingys, interesting for sure
The Apple box appears to be an external floppy disc drive. The cartridge in the case is what we used to back up our computer hard drives and network systems back in the day. It was a business safety precaution in the event our systems or hard drives crashed. At least we would have it all on back up.
Thank you both for going here....I have always wanted to know what it looked like in there especially because I live 10 minutes away from here. Also I wanted to know because of the history behind it. Anyway glad you both were safe and blessed through your walk and journey.
I really like this kind of video from you honey. I always think of the folks that were there too. When I look at the mountains in winter I always think about the Indians living such a harsh life🎈
Why couldnt these buildings have been given a facelift and made in to accomodation for low income / homeless people or something similar. It is such a waste. Some of those buildings are huge! Thanks for sharing this video it was verrry interesting. A word of caution, i ended up in hospital for 6weeks with septacemia and pneumonia after breathing in some mouldy / moldy beans off a necklace... Good idea to wear a mask and definitely gloves. Just not worth the risk of getting seriously ill. Asbestosis etc. Love watching your videos
The one thing that amazes me about these old buildings, is how they are so trashed. People are just pathetic and can't leave well enough alone and just use it for shelter, but have to destroy the places and turn them into garbage heaps. It's disgusting.
Cool urbex. Might wanna keep some dust masks handy for these moldy oldies. Thanks for taking us along!
"I gotta get in there"....made my day!
Sweet looking creek!

Your bride is a trouper!!! I wish I had some to explore with me. Where are those dust masks you had in your wagon???
Hey E.A.: did you notice the ladder on the wall in the back left corner of the stage? Gotta wonder if there's an attic.
All I could see was waste. Unbelievable. Thanks for the share.
At 14:45 Freddy was waiting for you to come in.
You need to get in that creek lol

besides the lead paint,, them floor tiles are asbestos.
I agree great place to play ball but with no adult supervision the idiots would just mess it up
