Absolutely wonderful album! I loved discovering details about his production, great video!!
Very true Remain In Light is one of my favourite albums of all time by how they made the album and how good the songs are. Thank you very much I'm still trying to improve the video quality.
Their first four albums show an incredible upward arc for any band. And the only TH t-shirt I own is for "Remain in Light"!
Good to see this, sir!
from their debut to Remain In Light just showed the band getting better and better with every release creating such amazing music in the process. That is really cool there is an artist I like called JPEGMAFIA that did a recreation of the Remain In Light cover in his style which you may like as well ( shop.jpegmafia.net/collections/t-shirts/products/talking-heads-tee-red-on-black?variant=43683380134182 ).
Good video for maybe one of the best albums ever made
Thank you very much and I think I'll join you on that. It's in my top 5 favourite albums of all time its so good how they combined all different styles and how they even made the album its incredible.
Absolutely timeless album. It saved my soul when it was released, and it is still saving my soul today.
Agreed its only gotten better over the years and the opener song is just my favourite of all time
❤ my old jam band used to cover crosseyed and painless
That would've been so cool to hear.
There is no Talking Heads album that’s even a close second. Remain in Light will always sound new and innovative.
Cant argue with that its way too ahead of its time although I personally think Fear of Music is their second best.
@@Founder- have you checked out Angelique Kidjo’s cover of the entire album?
@@boboloko I have not I'll check it out thanks.
Very good
Thank you very much.
good 👍
Thanks.
I always thought it was 'Romanian light' but now understand it means avoid the occult.
Glad you understand it now but Romanian Light is pretty funny.
I thought this video was about the Importance about the album. All you spoke about was their previous albums and spent like 5 seconds talking about like 4 songs. Bad vid
The video is more structured towards how the process of the album was made as at the time that was unheard of which made it an important album as well as the songs on the album itself are some of the best in their discography
Important? It was a record, a good one. Their best. But important? No.
Fair enough I respect that but I do think it is a really important record from how it combines so many sounds with Byrne doing something unique in terms of his vocal patterns on the record as well as don't quote me on this since I can't find much on this, their one of the few to do instrumental jams for the voice to go over them not the other way around I think. I will agree it is their best 100%. Hope you understand where I'm coming from.
@@Founder- Mozart is important
@@nicokarsen6131 Not saying he isn't you're very right on saying he is important.
@@nicokarsen6131 Just because mozart is important doesnt mean remain in light isnt important, they both are important in their own ways
@@thefrenchdoormen8993 well said. There are many important things in music each making a path for new creative ideas for others to build upon.
