I agree I didn’t really listen to a whole Cube album until like 2011 I was born in 85 I just knew Cube from Boyz N Da Hoo, It Was A Good and videos after that. I knew he was a rapper though and was good at it. When I listen to Death Certificate I was blown away. America’s Most Wanted was dope too. 1nce Upon A Time In The Projects my shit. It really put in perspective how he got into movies
The pain of seeing legendary people and names getting old. It's hard to swallow the fact that I made it to an age I NEVER expected to see. But triumphant in itself!
I wonder how many people knew Ice Cube’s first solo record was completely produced by Public Enemy’s bomb squad production crew and that Ice Cube lived in NY until that first album was completed? I love hearing stories like this.
I remember going to the mall record store every 2 weeks looking for new music and stumbled across Ice Cube’s America’s Most Wanted. I didn’t even know he had parted ways with NWA. That opening intro with the walking conversation to the electric chair and Cube’s voice “I heard paybacks a muf@@ ni@@a”! Man it was on!!
@Ultra Instinct Nataka I wouldn't have thought so either..lol. But Eazy and Heller was close. Heller was giving him that "money talk". And I wanna believe that Eazy had them there to see the real.
@Ultra Instinct Nataka I don't recall where I read it, but I recall Cube saying, "We didn't call it 'gangster rap', we was just doing our version of Hip Hop." I felt that shit.
Vlad's favorite hip hop group is NWA, but he can't even interview his favorite members lol.. He only can get DJ Yella & maybe Ren.. But Dre, Cube & imo Eazy E would never be accessible to him..
MC Ren will never go on vladtv. Vlad already tried to get him for an interview but he kept turning down. Even DJ Speed said Vlad wanted to get him on so he could talk bad about the NWA members but he declined.
All you young people out there who saw straight outta Compton n became nwa fans need to know there was 2 groups at that time neck n neck n was both just as huge as the other public enemy was one n nwa was those 2 groups both had those powerful hard beats nwa used to achully sample all of public enemy beats .

We made an impact when we didn’t spend no money back in July. But it needs to be more of a bang. The corner stores are making a killing the clothing and shoe stores specific foods all of these categories have specific items make it bang! We can show them how powerful our money is.
AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted was the shit!!!.. yeah it had to go down on No Vaseline rq.. LMAO!.. Still one of the greatest hip hop diss records ever.. word up.. yo Lord J, who's that brother you bringing on later?. Deon D. Jenkins?.. that's what's up G. I looked him up. . I wish a spotlight was shined on him sooner.. I wasn't even thinking about going pass no polls today. If I do tho & I see his name, yeah he can get my vote no doubt. . my man sounds like everything Obama didn't think about being.. that's what's up. long as my man aint another gimmick & he's sincerely going for what he can, then make it happen brother.. no doubt. .
Death Certificate is my favorite Ice Cube album it still applies to today's America

1. Death Certificate
2. AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted
3. The Predator
4. Laugh Now, Cry Later
5. War & Peace, Vol. 1
I got Amerikkka's 1st. But feel ya. Remember Kill at Will was serious too
@@KUTProductionz Of course. But that was an EP so that's why I didn't mention that one. "Jackin' for Beats"- CLASSIC!
I would reverse 4 & 5 to me War & Peace Vol. 1 was better than laugh now cry later.
@@strictlyhiphop4121 Word. That EP is better than some peoples full length lol
@@KUTProductionz 😂😂😂 That's a fact!
AMW and Death Certificate is as good as Hip Hop gets
I'm just waiting 4 the whole interview 2 drop...anticipation is killing me
They did...live I think it was a week or two ago
From a west coast dude, I can tell ya' Amerikkkas Most Wanted is the best west coast album to date.
Ironically, with this "Platinum Plan" Cube IS Amerikkka's Most Wanted.
Cube rocked the beard since forever! When it wasn't a thing, Cube made it cool! 💯

He was on for hours. I think they are just dropping clips now
Keep Dropping Content Godz!!
I was in Columbia SC when I was consuming AMW.
803 stand up!!
I'm glad the way things turned out in terms of production. Those Cube solo albums wouldn't have turned out the same way!!
Death Certificate and In God We Trust, two of my top 10 albums of all times.
It was meant for Cube to run into Chuck D. Shout out to the Bomb Squad!
Wasnt NWA at the round table meeting when those execs wanted to taint HipHop. I thought he was the one that walkd out
