Baybeeee! This is IT! I was thinking of ways to DIY and I have the materials as well. But they’ve been just sitting and sitting in my basement for about 2 years! Seeing this gave me inspiration to finally get it done! You ATE this and left no crumbs! I’m also going to run out and buy supplies to make a palm tree in my bed room to make my beach theme now. My home decor itch has been ignited!! Tysm for sharing
Made mine yesterday, your method was fantastic. I cheated though and went to the forest to grab a broken tree 😂 and covered it in these blossoms, it looks amazing 😍
@@alez9285 hi I am so sorry I just saw your message now, I’ve uploaded it on my Instagram @somewhere_at_home it’s my most recent Instagram post I’ll share some more on my story today.

Love your idea, I've been looking for a big full cherry blossom tree for my bedroom, and what I've found, is not worth the money. SOO, I'll be using your method and build my own. Thank you so much for making this video!!!!! YOUR TREE IS AWESOMELY GORGEOUS!!!
Hi i found another video its also not complicated and easy to do they used newspapers only and faux petals of course no need for a cement try to check chelle-o mi diy. Hope it will help
Wow..this was amazing to watch..I'm so in love with the Cherry Blossom tree.. Definitely going to make my own...thank you sooo much for this tutorial🥰🙏🏽
My tree is so big but beautiful I'm so proud and happy with it. I used a big peace of long wood painted it then added the vines lights with other colored blossoms leaves and butterflies. I also did the cement in a cute wide designed bucket then filled the bucket with foam to add fake flowers and leaves to hide the ugly cement😊
I was going to order one from China but dang, they're expensive! Particularly the larger, more realistic looking ones..... this video was very helpful, the finished product looks amazing!
Wonderful! Love the 3D texture effect I've been contemplating how I can get this effect in my house and maybe as a way to sell for events. I love how you powered through on your thoughts. That's the way I do thing s to. Thank you for sharing 🤗🤗🤗
Thankyou so much for sharing with us. I too wanted to create my own cherry blossom tree with lights after seeing one for sale but was too expensive so I tried to make a tree to begin with but failed. I couldn't get to shops so I used tinfoil wire tape and florist tape then made paper flowers but I love yours so much I may have to try again without wood and cement but I will try something similar thanks again. Your tree is absolutely beautiful and you did a fantastic job xxx
Me too i love cherry blossom. I found another video that they dont used any cement just a newspaper and faux petal you can check it at chelle-o mi diy .hope it help
It cost around $500 doing it on go. Im sure if you shop around for more affordable parts, you'd be able to get the price down. But the one I made is also almost 10 ft tall so that definitely played a part in the price. I also went for the more realistic looking branched so quality definitely plays a part in the price. But compared to the ones I found online, its about half the price and investing in the better materials makes it look more realistic.
Nailicious Nailicious apologies... I meant to type “cleared them out”. I bought all the branches they had available at the time and used the other store to buy the rest.
I honestly think putting it outside would sun bleach the flowers and turn them yellow overtime. If its a must, I would seal it with an clear acrylic spray like Mod Podge.

It was around $500 with trial and error. If I were to follow my own instructions with the updates, it would be around $350-$400 depending on how full you want the tree.
Pay 1200 to rent a cherry blossom tree for my wedding, or use this method? 😂😂😂 let me take my ass to home depot. Because this is the same look i want at a fraction of the cost... and i can keep it

Adorei parabéns quantas unidades de flores você usou?
Beautiful! About how many cherry blossom branches did you use? And about how much did this DIY cost?
I used about 80 (40 doubled-up) branches because of the height and fullness I wanted for the tree. The bottom line cost was around $300
@@OpuluxDesigns hello I loved this exactly what I was looking for! Did you use 80 of the $13 pack on your amazon cart or the $45 dollar ones?
@@nailiciousnailicious8279 I used both actually. I cleaned one out of all their stems and used the other for the rest when I ran out.
@@OpuluxDesigns thanks so much for the respond😊 but I dont understand what you mean cleaned their stems?
Nailicious Nailicious apologies... I meant to type “cleared them out”. I bought all the branches they had available at the time and used the other store to buy the rest.

Where did you get the flowers
What do you think I could spray on it to put this out side
I honestly think putting it outside would sun bleach the flowers and turn them yellow overtime. If its a must, I would seal it with an clear acrylic spray like Mod Podge.
