    You can use the water beads in your flower pots. Mix them in the soil while they are dry, plant as usual. Afterwards, give it a good soak. It helps to keep the pots from drying out.

    I also did these as centerpieces for my daughters wedding, and I also added a submersible 10 LED waterproof light in the bottoms of each one. The waterproof light could change colors and was operated with a remote control. Her guests loved the centerpieces.

    Lol, I couldn't understand all the hype until you said "now this is where the magic happens", and poured the water back in. I was literally like WOW! You weren't wrong! How beautiful!!!     These are adorable!! I made these for my daughters' weddings. Place them on a mirrored tray and add a fairy light (the really small button type) and oh my goodness it just puts it over the edge! 💕

    I made those about 20 yrs ago for myself & a couple of friends for X-mas. I filled the vases with red hard cranberries & the floating candles were white with red & green stripes that looked like big X-mas candies. They looked soo cute!!!

    I did this for the centrepieces for our wedding 6 years ago. They looked absolutely beautiful on the tables. Received lots of compliments and people couldn’t figure out how our large pearls were just floating in the vases. Lots of fun to make.

    I did this exact water beads and floating candles for my daughters wedding decor. I added a waterproof light at the bottom. It was so beautiful. They were along the tables. You can also submerge a flower stem like the ones you have in your video into the gel beads as well it keeps it in place and looks stunning. Silk orchids look amazing.

      @@rubynguyen4346 Once water beads were expanded I emptied the water and transferred in plastic tote box. Add water again and the beads become . The flowers inside stay in place.

    I remember making these same kinds of candles at least 25 years ago. I guess it’s like they say, wait long enough and everything comes around again. The pearls are a nice addition.

    These are called super absorbent polymers. They were developed for agriculture but are used across the board industrially. Rip open a diaper or a cold pack or an air freshener and you'll probably find them. They even sell some that are the size of my big head.

    Beautiful! I found the water beads needed maintenance, you have to keep the water fill and also clean so you have to drain, rinse and refill. But they are fun!

    Your excitement is contagious, very fun video. The water beads also come in different colours, and you can dye them yourself. However, if you leave them in water for too long, they can crack. So be careful with bigger beads, they are mire prone to cracking

    Those are really pretty. My kids loved them when they were younger they would have water ball fights. you can get different colors also.

      I have thought about the underwater light as well, but I don’t like the idea that you have to turn it on before you submerge it. Just seems like a waste of battery. A lady committed further up that she had used a remote control submersible LED light I’m just wondering where you buy those from?
